I bought 150 inch screen from this seller on AliExpress about 2 years ago and love it! It's not the fancy new Fresnel screen (they didn't have it back then in that size) but it's a fraction of the cost and looks great: [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802964627075.html?spm=a2g0o.order\_list.order\_list\_main.50.318518022HbhhP&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802964627075.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.50.318518022HbhhP&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa) It took about 2 weeks to arrive, and about an hour to assemble, no issues over the years, has small bezzels, and looks like a huge tv in the room. Here is how it looks with the windows open, at night it looks amazing. Also using Formovie Theater: https://preview.redd.it/4hkyneok4ape1.jpeg?width=966&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ab1337ebbf1bed5962f6143e3390bb23f665d81
r/projectors • UST Projector & and 150" ALR Screen - Seeking recommendations ->I had the same requirements (except the budget) and went with Formovie theater and Nothing Projector black series 150’. Image is fairly decent during the day with ambient light, but Highly recommend blackout curtains. Also do measure out the wall before purchasing. What I thought would be a easy setup ended up getting a little closer for my comfort..
r/projectors • UST Projector & and 150" ALR Screen - Seeking recommendations ->I have a 65"OLED Ambilight TV in the "TV Room" with the Xbox and various other consoles for casual TV watching and gaming; the lag time on the projector can be noticeable. I have an UST projector in the lounge and a 100" ALR screen for movies, with all of the associated home cinema goodies like multi-amps and subwoofers etc. It's a true 4K laser projector which cost about UK£3,000. All of the home cinema electronics are in a rack in the corner of the room and just the projector and centre speaker below the screen, which is mounted as low as I could get it. Ideally, the room should be as dark as possible for the best projector experience. It will be watchable in daylight if bright enough but never as good as a dark room. I have a Philips Hue lamp in the corner which dims to a very dim red colour during movie nights. Sure, the picture from a projector is never going to be as good as for a high-end TV, but the projector gives the best cinema-like experience and atmosphere. I have pretty regular movie night with friends - nobody has ever said "it was ok but not quite enough detail in the shadows"; they love the movie-like experience.
r/hometheater • Curious about projectors: they’re not as good as TVs, but larger and more portable? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
