Valerion
VisionMaster Pro 2
Great picture/gaming, but RBE and no lens shift are dealbreakers.

I tried the Valerion Plus 2 and found it too dim. I then tried the Hisense C2 Ultra and found it just right for my 120 inch screen.
Definitely get a projector for 100 inch. That Hisense is a piece of crap with a ridiculously high power consumption. Also it’s not understandable why someone would recommend a TV with direct lighting when someone asked about a projector with indirect lighting. It’s always less eye fatigue. I’d recommend a discounted Valerion Pro 1 or plus 2 and set them up for gaming as described by The Hook Up on YouTube. At 3 meters you are perfectly fine going 110 or 120 without moving your head. In the end it doesn’t matter what screen size you’ll prefer. If you’d like to have a projector, get a projector.
I have the Visionmaster plus 2. Not familiar with the others in person but that my Valerion has been absolutely superb - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I have seen other similar priced projectors and none were as bright or vibrant as the one I bought

Because obviously is a shitty lamp projector. For movies theres nothing better than a triple lcd laser projector (like JVC NZ8) or a pure rgb triple laser projector (like hisense, valerion)
I got the $999 Valerion Plus, and it has absolutely exceeded my expectations! Perfectly bright and looks fantastic to me!
The Plus2 and Plus are within budget and honestly still worth considering if the 1.2:1 throw works for their set-up. All the software perks of the Pro2, just no optical zoom and not quite as bright. A lot of people run the Pro2 at laser level <6 as well because it's just too bright for their space which is good for longevity but bad for colour shifting while using dynamic laser dimming, actually Valerion disabled dynamic laser dimming when the user is using less than laser level 6.

Funny you say that because Epson "4k PRO-UHD" is NOT 4k UHD. They trademarked the term so they could scam people into thinking it's 4k when it's actually only half the pixels. Should be illegal IMO. The Valerion is way better than any comparable Epson garbage you can get, but the Valerion is probably also overpriced for what it is, but it wouldn't disappoint you.

Budget king, durable with good image, but RBE can be distracting.

BenQ
HT2060
Excellent 1080p contrast and quiet gaming, but low brightness for big screens.
