rojdeby 0.4I have the viewsonic x1-4k that’s native 4K, but as TechNick says, 3D is only 1080p. I even have to set my mediacenter output to Full-hd for the 3D-option to appear inte the projector menu. .corrected spelling.
Salty-Masterpiece983 0.4When we bought our house there was no possible place for a TV we like to have our couches against walls and on the other side is a closet. I have a ViewSonic x1 with a onkyo 747 receiver. It's 100" and fairly cheap we got a screen for free and the projector on eBay refurbished which brought the 1000$ to 450$. I wish it wasn't a smart projector and had cec where it could control more than power. The smart projector automatically goes to the projector instead of HDMI. The color and brightness is great and it's really quite and cool being a laser projector.
I played a couple of racing games on my racing wheel I have the ViewSonic X1 which has a lower latency than most projectors. It worked fine but I was playing far rather than close since my system is a regular throw projector. If you want something close I would get an ultra short throw so your setup could be close to the screen without shadows.
weird_is_fun 0.4I have 1440p 165hz 1ms monitor, got a viewsonic x1 4k projector; 4k 60hz 16ms, last week. Tried some gaming on projector and did not see a difference between 1ms and 16ms. Though I do not play any competitive nor shooter games, they might have affects on such games dont know.
