ItsMeYourNeighbors 1.0I took a gamble on a used Vivitek H1080FD. Which is a much older model. But I managed to get one for $50 off of eBay. It's worked great for starting movies at sunset. That Optoma is much newer and brighter. As long as it's refurbished from the manufacturer or Amazon I think that's fine. You just want it to be a legit source that you can get a refund from if something goes wrong.
You'd be better off on eBay and just buying a streaming stick to go with it. Edit: don't know why somebody disagreed with this statement. I got a used 1080p Vivitek with a new lamp in it for $50. Just gotta be vigilant.
