r/projectorsSuggest me the best projector with good display (will be using it with streaming stick) under 20k (250 USD max) and should be available in Amazon India.

Xgimi seems fine. Probably the Elfin/mogo2 or mogo 3. Depending on what's available on Amazon India. The problem with all these brands is after sales. Brands like benq/Epson have physical stores in most metro cities. Their projectors are expensive but probably more reliable. I have already suffered once by buying the Wanbo X5 for 25K. Worked flawlessly but within 9 months it just dropped dead and stopped working. Customer care is absolutely pathetic.

I bought a 300USD chinese projector from Amazon about a year back. It was the Wanbo X5, one of the higher end chinese ones in the market. Great quality, used it about 2-3 hours every day. But guess what...9 months later, it stopped working. Just went dead. Trust me, these chinese ones will initially work great but you never know when they'll drop dead. I've been saving up to buy a proper benq/Epson projector since then.

Don't trust Techibeez. I did the huge mistake of trusting her reviews and got the Wanbo X5 some time back for about 25k. Techibeez had praised it a lot but It stopped working after only 9 months. Customer service is horrendous. Tried for 7-8 months to get them to fix it but i got no response. I'd rather save up and buy a projector from a reputed brand like Epson, benq etc. or even get a second hand refurbished one from Okhla/Nehru Place projector market in Delhi. Xgimi is also an option since it's offering a decent performance in the 40-60k budget but they are a Chinese brand as well. After my experience with Wanbo, I don't trust these brands at all.

I can't confirm but I guess it's true. Delhi NCR has a service center. I sometimes think if I should've taken a Borsso one instead of Wanbo. The X5, when it worked, was pretty good tho ngl. I used it almost 2-3 hours every day and the quality was quite good even in daylight.

Never measured it. But it was BRIGHT. Except films/shows with really dark frames, I could see things clearly with just my curtains closed. It's great for stuff like animated films, sports etc. during the day. You can still watch darker stuff, but there might be some scenes that may seem a little washed out. Honestly, it never bothered me that much. I would watch cartoons, cricket matches during the day, and watch films and shows only at night. Eventually I got thick black curtains so the daytime output was even better. In hindsight, the X5 was a great buy. Never had any performance issues barring some laggy UI. I was really happy with it. You can imagine how mad I got when it stopped working out of the blue, that too with no customer support.

Hello there fellow Wanbo hater! Despite its Amazon reviews, Wanbo is the most fuckall projector brand out there. I too had a Wanbo X5 (not pro) and it stopped working after 9 months. Just dropped dead. No customer care either. I'm now leaning towards BenqTH575/585

Your best bet is probably to find a Wanbo X5. See my recent post. Can be found under $200. As far as this sub goes, they tend to bully anyone who wants a budget projector. Best to ask on r/budgetprojectors

X5 is the best choice for you. Better not using keystone correction. No good for image quality and high input lag on gaming.

1 and a half year with my 200€ Wanbo X5. The projector is magnificent, i use it for Nintendo Switch, Android TV with Stremio, YouTube etc projecting on a white wall at 85 inches. For 200 bucks the image quality and the features are better than excellent!
