I got an offer on Mogo 2 and stand for £160 and took it. Hope I like it.
Thanks mate. Mogo 2 pro is out of my budget, but I am thinking of stretching for Mogo 2.
If you don't plan to ceiling mount - I just got a [refurb Xgimi](https://us.xgimi.com/pages/refurbished) Mogo2 for my office for under $200 and it's great for my use. If your budget is $500 you could spring for the Halo+ which is a pretty widely recommended budget/portable option. But again, not sure how "mountable" these projectors are. Mine is on a tripod beside my desk.
The cheapest I would go would be the xgimi mogo 2 plus projector as my cheap starter than my daily driver is Nebula P1.
Hello, you can grab basicly every projector with a 40 inch screen. I'm using a xgimi mogo 4 right now (the basemodel) for on the go and its plenty bright for that screen size. if you want to to save a bit of money, you could choose the mogo 2; but that doesn't feature netflix. so for me it would be mogo 3 or 4. both are vaild options.
I'm happy with my Xgimi Mogo 2 plus. $180 new on ebay with shipping, and taxes. Honestly it has better picture color than my Acer v6820i.
I think XGIMI Halo+ would also fit your criteria, It is also on sale right now and costing around 500 euros. I have XGIMI MOGO 2 myself, but Halo+ would be even better
I’ve been using the MoGo 2 for a while, and it’s been great for indoor movie nights. The MoGo 4 is a solid upgrade with a brighter image, built-in battery, and a 360° stand make it more versatile for different setups. If you’re looking for something portable that works well in various settings, the XGIMi Mogo series (Mogo 4 if you have the budget) is definitely worth considering
I recommend to look towards XGIMI. They are a lot more user-friendly than your examples and better picture quality as well. XGIMI Mogo 2 or Mogo 2 Pro would fit into your budget as well. I can only recommend based on my experience as I have been using Mogo 2 for some time now and been happy about it.
I have used a few year old model (Mogo 2) and the picture quality is surprisingly good! In terms of Netflix availability it depends on the model. With Mogo 2 you would have to use Desktop Launcher to get the app or use a TV stick. I just use my phone and Airplay/Chromecast from Netflix. Nevertheless, XGIMi has just released Mogo 2 (New) which now supports Netflix again.
I have the Xgimi Mogo 2 Plus. I believe this model was exclusively sold at Walmart. I bought mine from ebay for $160. It's pretty good for the price. You can find them on ebay at a cheaper price than Walmart. I just did a search on ebay and the top result is $200 OBO with free delivery & returns. I think the Xgimi mogo series is probably the best for your budget. You aren't going to find anything that works well in a semi-well lit area. Picture will look washed out.
Xgimi seems fine. Probably the Elfin/mogo2 or mogo 3. Depending on what's available on Amazon India. The problem with all these brands is after sales. Brands like benq/Epson have physical stores in most metro cities. Their projectors are expensive but probably more reliable. I have already suffered once by buying the Wanbo X5 for 25K. Worked flawlessly but within 9 months it just dropped dead and stopped working. Customer care is absolutely pathetic.
