Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
i prefer the look of the mogo pro 2 vs 3
I bought the Mogo 3 Pro a few months ago and I'm really happy I got it. It projects images up to 200" and is very bright for a projector of that price. Before I had a Halo+ which was a little brighter but I didn't find any big differences
the question is very generic. it depends on what you mean by mini projector. I now use an XGimi MoGo 3 pro. but I also had Halo +. going up in budget there is the Horizon series which is still very compact
Like you I have a Mogo 3 pro. In my opinion if you want to upgrade you should go for the Horizon series always by Xgimi
For the same needs as you, I bought an xgimi mogo 3 pro (before I bought a Halo+). They are both portable projectors that you can use even without external devices because they have Google TV as an operating system with Netflix support (in the case of Halo+ there is the latest that supports it, it is called Halo+ New). Also take a look at the XGIMI Portable Screen. I am waiting for it to be available in Europe
They are not bad but dimmer than you expecting, maybe 300 ansi lumens max in usable picture modes, and contrast is low, 500:1 and below
Xgimi seems fine. Probably the Elfin/mogo2 or mogo 3. Depending on what's available on Amazon India. The problem with all these brands is after sales. Brands like benq/Epson have physical stores in most metro cities. Their projectors are expensive but probably more reliable. I have already suffered once by buying the Wanbo X5 for 25K. Worked flawlessly but within 9 months it just dropped dead and stopped working. Customer care is absolutely pathetic.
Yeah... Go for MoGo 3 Pro. Feel free to use the discount code here - [https://youtu.be/C5rTFXESoU0](https://youtu.be/C5rTFXESoU0)
the jmgo n1s is outdated by now, as there is the n1s 4k now. I got the benqGV50 back in the day but I wouldn't use it anymore today. check out the Mogo 3 Pro, its way more portable, has netflix, keystone is simple. I will have to say that the n1s beats the mogo 3 pro in terms of sound, but the n1s is bigger and with its carrying case it got even bigger bigger (I know thats no english :D). I ordered a 70 inch portable screen which wouldn't fit your van ,but it would fit outside of the van: [https://us.xgimi.com/products/xgimi-portable-outdoor-screen](https://us.xgimi.com/products/xgimi-portable-outdoor-screen) however i use the XGIMI 50" Screen P124S whenever the space is tight. Hello, you can grab basicly every projector with a 40 inch screen. I'm using a xgimi mogo 4 right now (the basemodel) for on the go and its plenty bright for that screen size. if you want to to save a bit of money, you could choose the mogo 2; but that doesn't feature netflix. so for me it would be mogo 3 or 4. both are vaild options.
Hello, I'm using a halo+ for that, but i recently got a xgimi mogo 3 pro which work fine in this situation, too. we might even have the same situation here, as this is my balcony with a roof. on the left i can additionaly darken the balcony even more if needede https://preview.redd.it/dsk3wd1zcloe1.png?width=1432&format=png&auto=webp&s=cc7515fa4402b929cbc1b4895eb4bd7f7a9b2bfe
hello, check out the mogo 3. its full HD, its in about 80 pound more if google is right but it has google chromescast, can be hooked up to a ps5 and notebooks (keep in mind its not a full sized hdmi port) you're - in my view -not right about one thing: projection won't look worse the bigger the picture it gets. i had 120 inch screens with 720p projectors and still enjoyed myself. okay that was 2019, but in generall: the bigger the picture, the better. if you want something a bit more cheaper, look for a refurbed elfin (Not flip).
Skip the Philips. Go for the MoGo 3

The MoGo 3 is not a toy projector.
If you are in india, go for benq GV50 as it's already available. I'm using xgimi mogo 3 pro, which I had asked someone to bring from the US. If you are importing via online purchases, then import duty will be there.
XGIMI Mogo 3 Pro. You can get a bundle that comes with the case and power base for $410 USD on Amazon. Small, battery built in, powered by USB on usbc. It’s one of the brightest usbc and is portable and easy for camping. You can get an open box one on Amazon for $300 too. That’s still considered cheap. I wouldn’t get a projector yet if you can’t spend that. I think it would be an awesome one for you though. I was torn between that and a Nebula Mars 3 for a while. I just use mine camping or by the fire on my back patio for a summer movie night.
Hmm. Ignoring the replies by people clearly looking for any chance to brag about their $15000 projector and $5000 screen, their diamond and gold collections and the size of their dicks, to answer your question: We have. You’re just not looking in the right place for them. There’s an entire new product line for projectors that don’t follow the traditional shape, size and technologies of the projectors you’re looking at. You can now choose from a dozen different brands of high quality smaller sized projectors that can produce an 800-1200 lumens 120” image for a few hundred dollars. Some are even stereo and battery powered with the charge lasting 2 hours, making them entirely portable and suitable for outdoors. Check out the Mogo 3 Pro, or the 1200 lumens Atom laser projector that’s 2” high and about a kilo in weight. Or the Halo+. The projector industry appears to be creating new form factors and price points to appeal to a newer generation of consumers that aren’t trying to dedicate an entire room to a hot, noisy projector. That’s where the development you’re looking for is occurring. There’s still plenty of advances in the traditional large form factor projector, but those mainly only appeal to the North American market since they require a dedicated space in a home that few other countries cater for. Having a bright sharp projector the size of a hard cover book that’s 80% as good is far more appealing to a newer generation of consumer that often rents their home, seeks unobtrusive, portable technologies, and doesn’t have the budget or inclination to invest in a home theatre. Which makes a lot of sense.
