Hoping for some advice! I have just installed a Cloudforge T3 in my Milsbo to aid with humidity control. In the setup it says not to slope the hose downward though I don’t really have another option. Has anyone had experience with humidifier hoses? I keep a ghost orchid (dendrophyllax lindenii) hence the need for such high humidity.
r/IkeaGreenhouseClub • Cloud forge Humidifier ->~£70 on Amazon. Slightly cheaper on AC infinity site though needed the fast delivery 😅. So far I’m very impressed. Last one broke - habistat humidifier 4.5l. Lasted a year then leaked all over the floor
r/IkeaGreenhouseClub • Cloud forge Humidifier ->yeah its crazy this got upvoted so much- a T3 wont make a dent in a 4x4 while needing to be refilled every hour lol. slight exaggeration but yeah, i need to refill my T3 daily in a 2x2 trying to maintain 70%.
r/microgrowery • Before I spend lots of $ on a 5gal humidifier is there a simple inexpensive way to achieve 65/70% humidity in a 4'X4' tent when the ambient humidity is 35%? ->Definitely recommend the Ac Infinity T3 over the similarly priced Vivosun version. Only benefit of the Vivosun one is if you have the entire Vivosun smart grow system, which I do. Even with that I prefer the two T3’s I have because of their out put. Also, maybe purely anecdotal but I feel like the T3 sensors are better too. Very disappointed with my u/vivosun

Yes, you could DIY something. I have seen people put wet towels in 5 gal buckets and blow fans on them as well as other ideas, but with a Cloudforge you can just set the humidity and walk away. It'll turn on and off to achieve what you set it at. Controller 69 not needed.

At least currently during the winter. The cloud forge t3 is holding it at 69% no problem right now. 3-5 days and I refill.

Mime broke within 2 months. I got their big ass one(T7 I think?) And the thing is leaps and bounds better than the t3. In all aspects. Might be overkill for your tent, but you're also on the lower end for what your humidity in your home should be at if it's 35%. I'd use the t7 to humidity your home/lungroom and go from there. You may see personal health benefits as well. It's actually what I do with mine. It keeps my 2.5 bdrm apartment at 50% easily.

Spider Farmer has a great humidifier too. I have it on the outside of my 2'x2'. It's listed at around $100 but they give crazy discounts and lots of discount codes. It's really about $70.

Should still work and be fine for humidity but will drip some water straight down vs having the hose upwards. I had one of these where I was able to put the hose in thru a side port and kept it on floor level next to it.
r/IkeaGreenhouseClub • Cloud forge Humidifier ->Yeah should be fine if you still see humid vapor coming out and the humidity is what you want. Worst case maybe you’d need to refill a little more often? I figured it was a limitation like that though, totally get that. I would add a drip tray to the cabinet if it doesn’t have something like that already though in addition to the moss ideally.
r/IkeaGreenhouseClub • Cloud forge Humidifier ->I got a t3 for my 4x4 and it could not put out enough humidity. needed a t7 which works flawlessly
r/microgrowery • Before I spend lots of $ on a 5gal humidifier is there a simple inexpensive way to achieve 65/70% humidity in a 4'X4' tent when the ambient humidity is 35%? ->Yeah I couldn’t get anywhere near nursery/early veg vpd even with the exhaust on 10% power with the t3. Even with it in the tent (and I bought it to keep it out of the tent). The t7 is a fucking weapon, and ACinfinity support (amazing) makes them the best of the overpriced shitty china brands (vivosun, spider farmer, etc.).

r/IkeaGreenhouseClub • Cloud forge Humidifier ->Mine did too. Was going to use it in my 2x2 for drying, but no matter what I do it won't work because it thinks the water tank is missing. It is not.
r/ACInfinityAdvancegrow • Arrived today! ->So far, it is perfectly maintaining a 60% RH in a 2x2 full of my outdoor stalks hang drying.
r/ACInfinityAdvancegrow • Arrived today! ->Get the AC infinity one. You can set it to a target. Best thing ever. And you can always red neck a bigger reservoir. It's about as powerful as I can get without going commercial. Altho with the app integration you could probably use a few of the bigger ones for smaller commercial ops
r/Greenhouses • safe to say the humidifier works, accidentally left it running all night ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
