Canopy humidifier! You can use tap water and don’t need to sweat distilling. It’s pretty great, highly recommend. They have a [nursery humidifier](https://getcanopy.co/products/little-dreams-by-canopy?tw_source=google&tw_adid=776795806538&tw_campaign=15484235715&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=15484235715&gclid=CjwKCAiA-sXMBhAOEiwAGGw6LDwghrEj6_Y-r6qTho36X6f3gztCx6v1YkhDiZK_Gx9TmVNQ1jP-hxoCJxAQAvD_BwE) too
Canopy humidifiers! [https://getcanopy.co/products/canopy](https://getcanopy.co/products/canopy) It's mold resistant (all of my past humidifiers accumulated mold eventually). The water container is dishwasher safe so it's super easy maintenance. You don't have to clean it that often. There's an option to also have an essential oil pod diffuser if you want. It's been my favorite so far and recommended to me by my doctor. They also have a nursery version as well, but I can't speak to that. It looks pretty similar.
Love my canopy humidifier. It uses evaporative technology and does require a filter.. but I also hardly ever clean it because it automatically runs on high after the water tank empties to completely dry out. After trying to use a stupid little brush to clean pink mold from other humidifiers and having to do it regularly I am so glad I found this product.
I love my canopy because it is so easy to clean but it comes with a regular subscription because you have to change the filter.
Used for my now toddler. The base is something you can’t put in dishwasher. Lots of dirt, grime, and mold can develop on this between fan and vent
If you can’t get distilled water, go the evaporative route. You will have to buy filters, but if you regularly clean them, they last a while. I personally use the canopy 2.0. I’d recommend looking into it. It’s a smaller unit.
I personally love mine. I have two. My husband used to wake up with such dry lips and I’d get cracks around the outer rim of my nostrils during the dry winters. Neither of those things are issues now that we have them at our bedsides. We keep them running constantly. I haven’t had any issues with mold or mineral build up either even though I use tap water. I will say I stay on top of keeping it clean though, so that may be why. I wash the dishwasher safe parts once a week and wipe the inside of the non-washable unit out with vinegar. While the dishwasher is running, I soak the filters in a gallon bucket with a cup of vinegar and filled the rest of the way with hot water. I let the filters soak in this for about an hour, but you could probably do less. I then thoroughly rinse them before putting the machines back together. No musty smell. No vinegar smell. My filters are white, pristine, and can last way past the recommended 45 days. I did change mine after 60, but I didn’t really need to.
Your list kind of has options from all over the board. From that list, I’d go with the Canopy humidifier for two reasons. One, it has a wick filter, meaning it’s an evaporative humidifier. These are the easiest to maintain for sure, and you can use tap water in them, too. Two, it has dishwasher safe parts, which makes cleaning much easier. If you’re still shopping around, check out the humidifier comparison sheet that is pinned on the ‘Humidifiers’ subreddit. You can sort by your needs further, including room size, type, noise levels, everything you mentioned above and more. I found it helpful when I was researching.
