"Carepod. Easy to clean ... you can literally boil most of the pieces ... we just use rubbing alcohol on the part you can't remove. So easy."
"LOVE my Carepod. ... I hate cleaning humidifiers and this is the easiest to clean I've ever owned."
"you don’t need to do the whole boiling to clean thing if you have a dishwasher, the two removable components are dishwasher safe! ... easiest and cleanest humidifier i’ve ever had in my life."

"The carepod doesn’t have a filter need, but it requires distilled water, and I cannot stand the idea of buying water and using over 1 gallon of it per day. ... We returned the carepod. It was too expensive for me to comfortably use tap water and our cheaper humidifier from before either of these two left white dust everywhere when we used tap water."
Carepod. It's actually easy to clean, no weird crevices, and you can buy replacement parts. There's even a higher tier option with a sanitize button.
So I recently got this humidifier a friend recommended. It's designed by a Korean doctor whose kid needed a humidifier, who got frustrated with the endless nooks and crannies. [Carepod humidifiers](https://hellocarepod.com/) There's several models, but they're all easy to clean and the company sells replacement parts for the bits that are more prone to wearing out. I got one of the ones with a stainless steel basin you can throw in the dishwasher, sterilize on the stove, etc. It was not cheap but I figure it's going to save me from throwing away another plastic humidifier after a few months. Also save so much time I would previously have spent trying to clean pink slime from weird corners.

We love our Carepod. It is easy to clean and works flawlessly. That said, always use filtered water in it or any other humidifier to extent its life.
Another vote for Carepod. Love the lack of cleaning!
I vote for carepod. I’ve had the two smaller sizes and both work well. I use the smaller plastic one on the bedside table and the slightly larger stainless steel one I had across the room when sleeping because it was so strong (this is different times btw, I never needed both!). I’ve had canopy- and it did get moldy. Maybe I should have washed it more than monthly when the new filters came though. Carepods are sooo easy to take apart and clean, every part is cleanable. Carepods are also very strong, like anything above the lowest setting is usually too strong unless someone is really congested.
We've had good luck with this one. It's cheap and the tank disconnects entirely from the base. It's got a few tight spots, but I can get in most everywhere with a sponge or one of the little brushes they provide. We empty them every morning to dry, only use distilled water, and clean with soap once a week. It's a pain but I think that's what has kept them free of gunk. I wish I could find something that we can run all day. But even the Carepod has some nooks and crannies in the wand. My guess is that we'd have to own 2 sets, one to run during the day and another at night, which sounds expensive and exhausting. 🥴 [https://a.co/d/07gEKCy](https://a.co/d/07gEKCy)
I have a Levoit 6000S that runs basically non-stop to keep my open floor plan kitchen/living/dining rooms a comfortable humidity. I like that the 6 gallon reservoir lasts all day and you can just use tap water to fill it. However, it is noisy and you do need to periodically run the dry cycle to keep mold at bay. I also have hypersonic ones in my office and bedroom. They’re much quieter but need distilled water or they create tons of white powdery dust. I recently upgraded to Carepods because they’re so much easier to clean than every other humidifier but they don’t have a humidistat or any smart features.
I have the carepod and it is by far the best humidifier i’ve ever had. The only plastic part that touches the water is the arm that hangs inside and it is super easy to clean. The stainless steel bucket and inside lid can go in the dishwasher which is awesome.
My carepod won’t turn on anymore. Don’t do it
Have one and really like it for cleaning/maintenance, but you’ll still need to use either distilled or RO water to avoid getting mineral dust in the air.
