> So I looked into the float mechanism that registers water level in the base and sure enough eyed an ever so small item keeping the reservoir plunger just slightly elevated. Pulled out this tiny 1 x 2 mm twisted piece of plastic from the manufacturing process and it's working beautifully. Trialed it in the sink for hours to ensure it was not going to leak all again. Tight, no leaking! Pictures added to show the tiny plastic piece and the plunger piece it was stuck under. Keeping this lovely humidifier with all of it's nice features :)

Same thing happened to mine. Assumed i didn't seat something right or i missed an O-ring when i cleaned it lost, and it's been sitting in the corner till I felt i had enough brain power to deal with it.
