We have had the same Levoit for about 4 years now, and run it every day once we start using heat in the house. We like it because all the pieces that touch water come apart and can be cleaned, which we do about once a month. We also bought a distiller, which helps keep the mineral buildup down.

Levoit works well for us. I have both the manual and the digital one. I have the Bluetooth/app enabled one in my daughter’s room so that I can set a humidity level and run it on auto. I use SO much less water that way. And if needed I can shut it off or turn it on in her room without going in at night. I bought a cheapo on Amazon first that immediately leaked during the night the first night. Don’t make that mistake. Important notes: warm mist humidifiers are not recommended with young children as it is essentially scalding hot water and if it should tip over or leak with them around you could have serious burns to deal with. Whether you have hard water or not, definitely make the annoying trek to pick up distilled water from the store for it. For cleaning purposes alone, it’s worth it. But generally speaking you don’t want to be vaporizing water with various minerals and who knows what else into the air and breathing it.

I’ve got a Levoit humidifier too, also live in a super hard water area. I only use distilled water in it to extend its lifespan and avoid having to descale reguarly. I always have distilled water in anyway for some of the more sensitive plants.

Carepod Cube One Plus X50V is mostly dishwashable, and the handwashing part seems easy. Also has a self-sanitizing mode. However, it's at least a few hundred $ so as someone who doesn't use humidifiers often (I only got one recently due to dry air symptoms including nasal blood) I'll have to think if I really need this. For the past week I've been using a Levoit Dual 150 Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier. Was not too hard to clean (just rinsing and drying a few components), going to try to skip the white vinegar baths til it's needed. Using only distilled water so hopefully that helps keep it squeaky clean for a while.

I use two 3-L Levoit humidifiers. They're a great size for a bedroom, they make zero noise, changing the water is a breeze, and it auto-shutoffs when it runs out of water. I generally use it everyday from December through February.

You should use a cool mist humidifier for baby. We have a levoit and like to a lot. It has an auto shut off feature which is nice.  If the air is too dry in the whole house you may want to consider a whole home humidifier

You should use a cool mist humidifier. We have a Levoit that works well. But we use it in addition to our whole house humidifier we recently had installed. The whole home humidifier was an investment but worth it

I have been through 5 humidifiers in the last 3 years, but my Levoit is going strong. I second this recommendation.

At that price they won't be BIFL, but you can still get some decent stuff. Here's some options for the small room: [https://hiarthur.com/?share=32b1481c-32d8-49e0-8920-d721a2991666](https://hiarthur.com/?share=32b1481c-32d8-49e0-8920-d721a2991666) And here's some for the big room: [https://hiarthur.com/?share=af627ced-d4a3-4d79-948e-9673beb00d6b](https://hiarthur.com/?share=af627ced-d4a3-4d79-948e-9673beb00d6b) If you want it strictly under 150, you can get the Dreo combo. If you're willing to spend a bit more, get the Levoit - it'll be a big step up.
