We have a Levoit one that can be controlled by an app. Totally not necessary but it’s really nice to have. Since it’s winter, I now use it nightly for my six month old since he started getting a split bloody lip after naps. I had really bad anxiety that was brought on by his four month sleep regression so I was thankful that past me spent the money on one that we can program. https://a.co/d/0brhzvkp
We use this and it's great: [Levoit OasisMist 450S](https://a.co/d/2G19eyJ)
I just bought this [expensive humidifier](https://a.co/d/ebxf3yx) for the house but for right now I’m keeping it by my orchids. It tells me the humidity in the house and I have all the capabilities to control the mist strength and how high I want the humidity etc. There’s also a plant feature which tells you what the ideal humidity for your plants need to be. I have a preschooler and with back to school and cold and flu season on the horizon I justified this purchase.
I have a Levoit OasisMist 4.5L humidifier next to my bed. I got an open box deal on Amazon for like $40. It's hard to keep a whole living space humid, so I focus on the bedroom. I also recommend using distilled water since the tap water here has so many minerals. I bought a 1gal water distiller on Amazon to make my own.
My levoit oasis mist humidifier works really well in drier months. Too well sometimes.
Legit OasisMist works excellently.
Had a few LEVOIT OasisMist that worked pretty well. The warm mist feature is nice, but had to constantly get distilled water to avoid white mineral dust covering everything as it's ultrasonic. This year, just picked up LEVOIT Sprout as it's evaporative so can use tap water. Most evaporative models I've researched have mold problems, specifically in the unserviceable fan assembly as their designs have the fan after the wick, pulling moist air through. Sprout's design has the fan *before* the wick so it *pushes* the moist air out instead. So far so good.
I bought a Canopy, without realizing how gamed the marketing is in this sector. It was essentially a paper filter tower dipped in a reservior of water with a computer fan drawing air through the filter. It worked, but the construction was dead simple for being over $200. And required a new filter every few weeks. And of course, it had a noticeable cooling effect. Then, I bought a Levoit with warm mist option. It had a design flaw where it was very easy to water log the boiler, which caused flooding. I then tried a Dreo and so far so good. It also has a heat option.
