Livatro 6L. No filters needed. Just boils water, the only thing that contacts water is the stainless steel tank. Only need to descale with citric acid (easily purchased from Amazon as a powder) about once a week. This unit literally boils water - so no risk of bacterial contamination. But if you have kids or nosy pets, it could be a burn risk to them, so keep that in mind.
That's strange. My 6L definitely turns itself off when it reaches the humidity cutoff, although I don't often use that function because it's a big enough room that I just need to run it on maximum all the time anyway.
Livatro 6L is a steam type humidifier that I find very easy to maintain. I fill with tap water and the only maintenance I do is a descale once a week with a few tsp of citric acid. Highly recommend.
Sadly I sent my 3L back to Amazon. I also had the company confirm that none of their humidifiers - neither the 3L or 6L - stops the boiling process where the humidity is reached. Itβs just keep boiling. Lastly the use of electricity was just not worth it and the room would get too hot from the heat. Sadly as much as I wanted to love it, itβs not there yet for me and the ease of no real maintenance was not worth the rest of the cons.
Livarto. I go to war for these people because Iβm sick of all the junk out there. Stainless steel tank and American company FTW
