Smartmi (Xiaomi Ecosystem Partner of Xiaomi ) - Smart Evaporative Humidifier CJSJSQ02XYUE

After I solved the integration things it works perfectly. I am very happy with the humidifier itself. Although it is evaporative style and you need to replace filters every 6 months (in HA you can see the % of filter life left). I chose the evaporative style, because its better in some ways. For example it does not cause issues with purifiers and other PM2.5 or PM10 sensory, which would detect water/mineral particles in air as "dust" causing high readings. Oh and I am using distilled water in my humidifier, although tap water should be generally OK. I just don't want limescale and stuff build up in the humidifier.

Well I have humidity sensors all over the apartment and within hours all the rooms reach comfortable almost target level humidity (target level = % set on humidifier). The humidifier is made out of two parts. Bottom half and upper half. Bottom half holds filter and "tank" for the water. Upper half has all the electronics, including the power plug. There are two ways of refilling it, either you pour water over the top screen when it's turned off or you lift the upper part and pour water directly into the tank. I fill it by powering it off, taking the upper half away and poring directly into the tank. After I put the upper half back onto the device it beeps and starts connecting to wifi, which usually takes about 10 seconds. After that the humidifier is "online" again in the app. No need to re-pair it with the app. If connectivity to wifi is poor it might take a bit longer to connect and show up as online in the app I guess, but there is no need to remove and re-add it.

I bought an evaporative humidifier (smartmi) for this reason as only water comes out vs particles.

I like the list of discs ones that are easy to clean, but I think order only Xiaomi that has them, "evaporative humidifier". You can move the base with the discs to refill or clean easily. The fogging ultrasonic ones leave white dust everywhere unless you use distilled water, and the spongy discs just get mouldy...
