I listened to this at CanJam for sometime. Not an IEM expert and was looking to get into them … overall liked the tuning of the u6t and u12t way more.
r/headphones • 64 Audio Solo Planar Magnetic IEMs Review (TechPowerUp) ->I didn’t spend much time on the 12t but did think it was better. It seemed clearer and richer mids, but once I saw the price I put them away. The 6t with the gold colored port plugs were the right combo and value for me.
r/headphones • 64 Audio Solo Planar Magnetic IEMs Review (TechPowerUp) ->I went to my local shop to try out some “endgame” level of iems today since I am on off day, and saw this new Truthear Zero Blue 2 on the shelf. So while waiting to test the other kilobucks iems, out of curiosity i reached out and tried the Blue 2, and….it is so damn good I thought i was hallucinating. So to make sure i wasnt being dramatic, i tried other thieaudio prestige ltd and “almostexact” same shell size 64 audio u6t and it proved that I wasnt. Dont get me wrong, blue 2 doesnt out resolve any of those kilobuck iems, but the tuning is so good! When dirextly compared to u6t, u6t sounded like theres a something lacking on the treble? Not sure if its the unit issue but blue 2 sounded so much better and natural. Just the technical aspect isnt comparable especially when full band of bass/drums/guitars coming in u6t I am still able to pinpoint everything while blue 2 is more of a mess. Blue 2 i personally feel that the vocals and treble is just nice 👌, and smooth! Not to mention very comfortable too. I have some endgame level sets and still plan to get this one just for everyday beater set! Tldr; Its crazy how much quality 64.99 can get you in 2025!
r/headphones • Budget iems are crazily good nowadays ->ok, well, any budget? monarch mkIII plenty good enough. 64 audio u6t is also fantastic and I would take it over monarch. 64 audio trio and volur are both fantastic for gaming so just pick whichever tuning you like more for music. Vision ears ve10 is even more expensive but absolutely nutty. Empire ears raven isn't as good as ve10 for gaming but more fun. AME raven is like god tier for gaming but I dont like the tuning. :)
r/inearfidelity • Best IEM’s for gaming (any budget)? ->64 audio u6t never got the hype it deserved
r/iems • Hidden Gems - What's the most underrated IEM in your collection? ->I own both of them for reason beyond me. both are pretty similar except the U6T is a bit funner with a bit more bass and better vocal presentation. U12T is slightly is more relaxed with vocals and less bass. They both preform extremely well, however I would go U6T over the U12T mainly because the I personally find the tuning to be a bit more engaging.
r/headphones • 64 Audio Solo Planar Magnetic IEMs Review (TechPowerUp) ->So this one my be hard for me to answer. I have a smaller collection, so... I only have a few iems I can compare. but in general, I find most of 64A's line up to be pretty recess for the most part with the exception of the U6T. I also have the blessing dusk which I think is a more mid focused IEM, and the U6T is similar to that in terms of vocal presentation. Another thing is this as well, for vocals on my U4s and U12T the vocals are somewhat outside the head space, where as the U6T its pretty intimate almost like the singer is singing to you. For me ... the U6T is hand down my favorite IEM I own and I seldom use the other two 64A iems I own, mainly because vocals are usually what I focus on in a mix. but if you are more treble sensitive I would lean toward the U12T as that has a more refined treble response compared to the U6T.
r/headphones • 64 Audio Solo Planar Magnetic IEMs Review (TechPowerUp) ->Ok so this if from my personal experience.... I have several iem range from sub 100 until 500 some I lent to my friends or I just keep on my house...I have several friends which audio hobbyist they have audio store so I have opportunity to try before I buy one..so someday I want buy 1000usd iem, read reddit and head-fi forum then go to my friend store...so I tried moondrop chu2 compare to my kadenz yes the quality is very different, compare again with letshuoer s15 the s15 better than my kadenz for my taste...so when I put monarch mk3 it's blow my ear, damn this iem so amazong and I decide to bought it....then several weeks later my friend call me then say I have 64audio tia demo and annihilator just come....with fully excited I'm going there when I tried both of them, I dont feel WOW like I tried monarch mk3 the first time then at that time I realize, mk3 is my peak and I cant tell the significant difference between mk3 - annihilator and tia So thats why I like to try and buy several 100-500usd iem and sometimes sub100 too because I can tell the difference and I can choose whats signature I want..like a week ago I choose simgot ea500lm rather than ew300 because I found the sound more aggresive because mostly my iem is warm and neutral.... So from my story, I have limitation and taste for me, spent 1000 iem in monarch mk3 is one of the best choise I ever made and beyond that price point my ears cant tell fhe difference so..but back again thats my experience and opinion....
