I'd get Elua Ultra. IMO best quality bass under $50, and if default 13db shelf isn't enough, you can always EQ more.

7Hz Elua Ultra. That thing has bass. But you won't find "good quality over detailing" at this price point.

I've not heard the G1, but I do like the 7Hz Elua Ultra for the bass.

Great for extended listening sessions, with sound characteristics closely aligned with the Harman target. The bass was powerful, and the clarity of the vocals was excellent. Product link : https://conceptkart.com/products/7hz-elua-ultra-dual-dynamic-driver-iem

Haha, there are two versions, one is HBB, which you're mentioning, but that's not the one you're discussing here.

Rumbly boosted bass ≠ Hard hitting bass. And i do get your point, KZ Castor Bass was More in line with what you wanted, a lot of people doesnt really take sound perception and tracks they are using (their music library) into account when giving recs. That said, not sure how much time you gave to those, but of you come from using the Bl03 and just used the QKZxHBB for a few minutes, then you wont get the real sound since you are used to the hard boosted bass on the blon. If you want an energetic experience, also 7hz Elua would work better, but that one is a bassy V-shape and has a LOT of treble too, so yesh. Sadly, basshead people dont have it easy on budget picks (also, check different, smaller, eartips, on the QKZxHBB, those have a signifcantly larger nozzles than the blon).

I have a few reviews published on my profile if you wanna check them (Models Reviewed so far are: Dunu Kima 2, Titan S2, Kefine Klean, Dunu DK3001BD, 7Hz Elua and Dunu Falcon Ultra). Oh, and also TRN Orca but is a very old and novice review xd.

First, KZ used to be shady but nowadays is as símilar as most decent brands (TRN, Moondrop, etc) only caveat is they take the honestly not great approach to throw anything to the wall to see what sticks. Besides volume depends on a lot of things, but Castor is not much hard to move so i am a bit worried to whoever said you need a DAC for volume with original Castor Bass. All That said, is just a good entry set, but not super special vs other things nowadays. KZ does use pretty basic accesories and budget build quality on cheaper stuff so i get your point, but models like Castor are realistically as well build as most sub $25 suff on the market, and some of their models, like Castor, have a pretty decent track record of not coming faulty out of box. If you want alternatives, and still want V-shape but not KZ: 7Hz G1, 7Hz Elua *Ultra* (no HBB Elua), Twistura D-minor or at least Moondrop Chu 2 (struggles with humidity, if you live in a humid city, better get other options). (Consider them in that order of recomendation). If you want bassy V: The closest to it are 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2 for kinda balanced bassy sound, still energetic, QKZxHBB for bassy inmersive sound, kinda relaxed tho (Not Hades or Khan, the plain QKZxHBB), or Kbear Rosefinch for a very clear bass leaning. If you want more insight on those models or want to see other alternatives, and If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) Youll find most of the iems mentioned there for a bit mode insight on what to expect.

7hz, Truthear, Mangird, Dunu. Lots of different options at different price points, and every year the tech gets cheaper/better implemented so an $80 IEM at this point is pretty close to a $300 IEM from 5 years ago. Truthear Hexa is my go-to recommendation, has a really natural presentation and good bass.

ZSN Pro X has same build quality as zsn pro, so go for the 7hz. i owned a zsn pro x in humid climate and it died after only 6 months of use

I do. 7hz got less distortions and are easier to EQ. Moondrop is notorious for their bad quality, can't expect anything from $20 iem though. Overall 7hz are a bit better and more reliable.

I love the sound of the Blue 2’s, but I tried the Tangzu Fudu, Kiwis and 7hz - the only reason I’m considering others is because they feel so much better in my ears. But the sound signature has been better on the Truths by far

While I found 7hz mindblowing years ago, nothing in twice or 3 times the cost of the 10 options ive tried has presented significant improvement. The Zero Reds, on the other hand, caught me completely by surprise, outstanding sound. We all know this is just my opinion.
