DZ4 is a very veryyyy unique IEM that works well only in certain genres, i would advice you to do a lot of research if its one of your options. EW300 is decent option, you may be lacking mid bass tho, it wont feel near as punchy as Castor Bass. But, i dont think its worth coming from a EW200. imo there are 4 good options: Nova/Supermix4 if you want a harman approach (SM4 being brighter), IE200 as a better and smoother EW200 or 7HZ Legato. The last set is basically a KZ Castor Bass in steroids that really scales with enough power.

the WB are comfortable on the Hexa...I tried that. Literally allows the treble to breath. Look for narrow bore (the stem portion) tips and on a slightly deeper insertion depth...that should give you better bass response. tip roll before you upgrade. unless you just want a new IEM. I do have a set of "basshead" IEM 7hz Legato. It's not for everyone...it's older but the bass is definitely there. I use Divinius WB on those to balance out the sound. Love them for EDM, Hip Hop and sub-bass heavy tracks

to add to the sub-bass portion. Yes...the Legato's sub-bass CAN and does color everything. As mentioned to another comment...I use ear tips that help the treble peek out. IIRC...Legato is a 2 DD IEM. The sub-bass (with the right tracks) are FELT and HEARD. Try "Interlude" by Yosi Horikawa; "Big Hammer, Pt 2 (Endel Focus Soundscape)" by James Blake; "Angel" by Massive Attack. They will rattle and tickle your brain if the source, amplification and IEM is right.

Havent heard but was also interested in them awhile ago. Though heard it went thru a silent revision not too long ago and it is no longer a bassy set. I also looked for a basshead set and got something else. It has quite mixed reviews but I still deeply love my 7hz Legato. Got it over 1.5 years ago for around $65. For reference, all the sets Ive heard: TE Nova, TE zero, Letshouer S12 Pro, 7hz Legato, Artti R1, Tangzu Fudu, Kz Pr1 Pro. Used to own the Tangzu Waner and TE Hola, but gave them away. If you really wanted bass, cant go wrong with Legato. Artti R1 is still quite warm and bassy whilst still being more detailed and balanced if you dont want to lose much detail.

Seconded on DaVinci if you like a nice sound. If you just want *BASS*, try the 7Hz Legato. The Aful Explorer with Final Type-E tips also basses well, but those are the only tips that make the bass actually worth something.

It has no midbass though, so whether it's a true basshead IEM or not is very track-dependent. Even the impedance adaptor doesn't add much above 150Hz. Something like the 7Hz Legato is probably better if you want a ton of bass and don't care too much about potential muddiness in the midrange. The Deuce's big thing is being very clean sounding, with a ton of sub-bass, so it has a very "detached subwoofer" kind of sound. To get a true basshead tuning comparable to a consumer-tuned earbud, you're going to have to add a bass shelf with EQ really. For a cheap 2DD that's apparently capable of being a true basshead IEM with EQ, there's the Aoshida E20, but the stock tuning is actually more bright-leaning and definitely not basshead at all. I haven't got around to EQing mine yet so I can't comment on how well it does, but apparently it can take a pretty big bass shelf without distorting. The Legato is also commonly used with EQ and has better build quality, but I couldn't say if it sounds any better if both are EQ'd to the same target.

Cheap ones: Kbear Rosefinch, Whizzer/Opera Factory OS1 Pro, CCA CRA, More pricey ones: 7Hz Legato, QKZ x HBB Hades, Campfire Audio Honeydew. In case you are looking for a cheap one I would go for the Rosefinch. If you have more money to burn, probably the Honeydew would suffice. :) I only have the Castor Bass and I also had the QKZ x HBB Khan (not the standard QKZ x HBB), but for me the Castor was way better.

I don't think you can get disappointed by 7hz legato, especially if you can get them at 70$. I'm testing them atm. My favorite iem before getting legato was qkz x hbb, at 10-12$ you just can't beat them. I tried kbear rosefinch, kz castor bass, kz castor pro bass, qkz hades, qkz khan, truthear zero blue. Qkz x hbb and 7hz legato destroys them in the bass department. It's very punchie and rumblie. And at the same time it's clean. Correct tips are very-very crucial when you are looking for good bass. Atm I can't say with 100% confidence what i like more, but I'm leaning to legato heavily. I feel like legato has a bit more bass, with a bit more quality and clarity. The soundstage is definitely wider, and it has more details, thanks to 2 driver setup. Talking about drivers. It's fucking nuts that it has 12mm driver just for bass. And 6mm for everything else. Also it's less shoutier than qkz x hbb somehow. Note that qkz x hbb is already a very dark set for most people. I have very bad sibilant hearing and the legatos sound more comfortable for me. Is it 7-10 times better than qkz x hbb? No. But it's worth the shot imo, not like there's a lot if any sets that are legato alternatives in this price range. Note that they are big, but i don't have any issue with fit. I have yet to receive blon z300, 7hz elua, kz saga bass, kz prx. But i don't think they're beating legato or qkz hbb. Although I'm hyped to hear how planars replay bass on kz prx. Also I'm in the same boat with you. I don't get obsession with clarity. But to each their own. I just think it's a bit forced. Or I'm for real hearing everything differently compared to most people. But none of my friends prefer sets that are cleaner and less bassy.

At that price, I don't think anything really competes with the 7hz Legato (from my experience). But with cheaper bass oriented IEMs, you will be making trade-offs. Even at the $100 range with the Legatos. Don't expect clarity. But if you just want to sit back and feel the bass rumbling, the legato does it very well (they're awesome for movies like Inception or Dune).

Well, 7Hz Legato, as much as I like the brand, they are sometimes a hit and miss. Legato is decent. The bass is all muddy. Subass is decent too. Good for the price. S08 is excellent choice tho

The Scarlet Minis I tried out have the most sub-bass I've heard. Some sacrifices of course... edit: 7hz Legatos are also pretty nuts and neck and neck in some frequencies but there are more noticeable compromises.

So, If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) However, i must mention that "a lot of bass" usually doesnt play all that well with rock music genres (with hip-hop is fine tho). So, if you just want something Funny and energetic, with Nice bass, the Kefine Delci or maybe the Kiwiears Canta could work, for some more bassy stuff, Explorer or the TRN White Tiger could work for you (specially the White tiger since it comes with 3 tuning nozzles to adjust the sound). If you really want LOTS of bass, the 7Hz Legato is the choice, and if you want something clearly bassy but not too bassy, the Letshouer S08 (along with a DAC for power) could be a solid option, allthought this one is a bit more on the relaxed side of sound because of its warm, bassy presentation.

If what you want is strong punchy nuanced bass with also a pretty generous amount of it? then it is pretty much your best pick around the price, now, the problem that you will likely have with most of those kind of iems is the clarity and detail, dont expect the best technical performance out of them.

thats pretty much personal preference and perceived sound, some will hear the legato as quite literally just bass, while you likely find it as just bassy.

oh, also, there the 7Hz Legato, which is notably more basshead over those 2 and with a similar nozzle size, but is a bit old by now and quite the bass heavy pick, S08 and Delci have a smaller shell too i believe.

having the QKZxHBB (besides other models like Kefine Klean, and having tested Cadenza, Salnotes Zero blue and so on), there arent that many similar warm options around $50, and around $100 there are options but with some things to consider, first, the closets i think would be 7hz Legato, but not sure how different is going to feel since is also a bass heavy iem but it has more amount of and a stronger presence of bass vs the QKZ one, so thats a bass heavy option if you want one. If you want something just more warm and relaxed, the Aful Explorer is the way, but might be too expensive if is not on a sale, so, Tangzu Fudu, if you can find it, comes quite close, but is a VERY relaxed set, so you might need some time to get used to it even if using the QKZ. And if you have a dongle DAC to power them the Letshouer S08 could also be an excellent choice for warm and bassy. If you havent checked it yet, This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [\- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) Youn can get a bit more insgiht on each one of the mentioned iems if you wish.

Just grab a KBear Rosefinch while they are still around. Overlook the low price. The single dynamic driver performs excellently, and the frequency presentation is v-shaped with a natural vocal presence. At the least you will be able to try out the signature should you want / need to buy something 'higher-end' and if you want add a BT20XS 2-pin version to make it a portable set. See how it graphs compared to some other sets that may also be of interest. [https://pw.squig.link/?share=IEF\_Comp\_Target,KBEAR\_Rosefinch,CCA\_HM20,7hz\_Legato,Ikko\_OH10,Juzear\_Clear,KZ\_Castro\_0000](https://pw.squig.link/?share=IEF_Comp_Target,KBEAR_Rosefinch,CCA_HM20,7hz_Legato,Ikko_OH10,Juzear_Clear,KZ_Castro_0000) The Legato is great, but doesn't have the vocal clarity but has treble extension which can improve perception of image separation for some instruments. Also has better build/case. The Rosefinch is fine especially for its price though. CCA HM20, this has excellent technical performance, well tuned balanced-armatures for the top-end with great clarity, bass is tight and while deep is not as impactful with its smallish driver compared to Rosefinch and Legato - it is a sleeper IEM though and has a warmish tuning very enjoyable. The Rosefinch does what you are looking for at the lowest price of the bunch.

The **7hz Legato** is a bass monster but unsure if it’s available at your budget (AliEx was $66 recently). V.bass orientated, details can suffer cuz of this tuning but unsure how *MUCH* bass you want vs quality of tuning?! If a lot, then this is worth considering. If available to you on sale, **Tangzu Fudu Verse 1**. - At $40-50 MSRP $90. Sub bass is really rumbly, can feel it in your body, mids are punchy & hits precisely. Separation + imaging is good. Purchased for £30 ($40) on Aliexpress last month. The Divinus Velvet tips included are like $23 alone - they pair amazingly well with these. Cable is hit or miss with the looser ear hooks. Otherwise it’s made from a nice material. Small iem shell, faceplate is a bit pointed on top but doesn’t impact fit. Also own (and could work for you), **Inawaken Dawn**. - Sub-bass not as physically intense vs Fudu but sonically strong (despite Fudu graphing slightly lower) but the mid bass is textured, clean, rich tone and replicates music in general really well. ie no bleed, bloat for the sake of it. Leans warm, V shape, vocals clear and upper midrange isn’t fatiguing. Shell is beyond comfortable, nozzle no issues. Wear this all day, zero issues. > **Note:** *Worth checking out some reviews from different sites/YT of the list you end up making to get a better idea of what works for you.*
