"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."
"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."
"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"
"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"Back to back in my opinion they blow the airpods pro 2 out of the water in clarity, separation, and punch."

"The resolution of this IEM is quite outstanding and actually shines in complex tracks. ... It flawlessly resolved even metal genre tracks, which are among the most complex."
"good imaging and quite nice instrument separation, especially if you are planning to use it on busy tracks."
"I personally peaked with the Hidizs MP145, which is the first audio device where I haven’t had any need for an EQ and been just satisfied with every nuance in sound design."

"the fit was terrible for me ... so I returned them"
"I had the same problem and returned them."
"But, notably heavier. ... And man, these being heavy, really makes it hard to keep in the ears. ... I'm finding these are heavy and have a hard time staying in the ear ... I noticed that too. These are the first iem that give me problem with staying in my ears. ... Yea, it's big enough of an issue, that I might resell these. It's frustrating to use them lol ... I never found a set that made them stay perfectly, except for liquid silicone tips, but didn't like the way they sounded ... These are heavy though. Easily double to 2.5x, maybe even 3x the weight of my s12 2024's. TBD on how I feel on that lol."

"Yes the Pros are dark, too dark."
"Ray didn't have the sweet bass I was looking for! ... Ray didn't have the punch even when paired with a Sub Gen3 for my needs."
"The T10 Pro, thanks to its short-reaching nozzle, is a very fit sensitive set, if you happen to feel the bass lacking in rumble and punch, big chances are that you are not having a good seal, which was one of my main discoveries when testing it."

"way too much treble, really zizzy"

"The T10 ''OG" is more capable than the Artti T10 Pro, it is a more exciting and natural version in every way, fast, agile, spicy in the right measure and at the same time musical. ... I hated doing this review because I really tried hard to like this set, I had high hopes for it ... But the price is not justified, especially with the T10 OG and S08. ... Yes I felt the same. Unfortunately"
"pay for data of sensors you already paid for."
"Huge shock that a $15 (when on sale) Zero 2, beats the T10 which costs typically $50 to $70., and on teh best sale at least $40."

"But they are power hungry, you need a good source. ... Your phone will provide enough volume but all micro detail will be lost. ... I have tried my Explorers on different sources, for example on Apple dongle they sound like shit, on macbook and ipod classic 7 they sound fine, on 3.5 my dap has 250mW off power and it starts sounding good, but ONLY on 4.4 of my DAP which provides 600mW of power I was able to hear how they TRULY sound. ... In all this cases they are loud enough but amount of detail and distortion is different, the more powerful source you will provide the more details you will hear and less distortion/noise you will have."
"But, these are power hungry af."
"Mine just arrived… and I found it weak as hell. ... Max volume on both my phone and PC, and the headphones just don’t deliver. ... the bass adapter just makes it more bass tuned but also even lower volume. ... I don't understand how these new IEMs needs a external amp to get even closer to what those old Razers could deliver with just the power of an 3.5mm jack lmao"
Hey, just chiming in as a fellow producer. So far for critical listening and double-checking the mix my two fav sets are SGOR Luna and Artti T10 (not pro but regular version). Both are very capable and detailed, while maintaining a clean and balanced sound. Why those two? - cheap planar driver IEMs. I haven't directly compared Hexa, but i have compared Nova (which is an upgrade of Hexa) to Artti T10, and Nova has a bit more female vocal emphasis than Artti T10, but i prefer T10 for a more "surgical" clean kind of sound (not to mention it's cheaper). And after i got Luna, these two are tied in terms of mix check, as Artti has a slighly more emphasized lowest sub range, but Luna has a wider sound stage. Link below for comparison of all the 4 mentioned sets. [https://audioamigo.squig.link/?share=Truthear\_Hexa,Artti\_T10,Truthear\_Nova,SGOR\_Luna](https://audioamigo.squig.link/?share=Truthear_Hexa,Artti_T10,Truthear_Nova,SGOR_Luna)
Luna for me personally took a few days to adjust to (some say it's "burn-in" time, others say it's just your brain adjusts). Initially it might seem a bit bright, but not as ear-piercind as ew200, as the peak is around 8k, which is much more tollerable than 10k (even though it looks louder on graph). After those few days, i now very much prefer Luna as my go-to for both production and mixing, now occasionally switching back to Artti T10 just to double-check the tonal balance (as like i said the very bottom sub is more pronounced on them). From my experience Luna is more technical and "wide" compared to Artti T10, but i haven't compared it directly with Nova (altho i prefered T10 over Nova in those aspects as well). What i can tell you is that Artti T10 and Nova both sound more "pleasant" and enjoyable, more well-rounded kind of. But with Luna i have easier time finding more things that feel wrong in the mix (much more obvious sibilance, skewed bass/sub balance, more precise panning and placement, etc), which all feel more smoothed out with my other sets, and so easier to omit.
oh ur good drivers for most of them are generally pretty similar just tuned diff. s12 pro, timeless 2, kiwi ears aether, even the cheaper artti t10
i'd save abit, 45$\~ and get the artti t10 for an actual big upgrade versus a sidegrade
I got mine a few hours ago. First IEM and love it. Bass was non existent initially, got the fit right and came alive. Just using a normal dongle and im sure it will be even better with a proper dac and better tips. Clarity is just amazing!
I have a standard H4, and I enjoy the Artti T10, JUZEAR x Z Reviews Defiant (highly recommend), and Truthear Hexa. They're all distinct in their own ways, and wonderful to explore music with paired to the H4.
For first IEM in your budget also agree on the Hexa. It is truly neutral, great definition and clarity, and has a somewhat more reasonably sized nozzle. However, it can be too analytical, and when I'm listening for fun, I rarely go for them. Fun and enjoyable to me is more the Defiant, Artti T10, and Zero Blue 2. I hear the Pure is nice for some, but it is warmer (more bass and lower midrange, less upper midrange/treble). For a first IEM that's lower cost, I like the Truthear Gate. Great soundstage on it, and it's one of the most comfortable iems I own. The Wan'er 2 also makes the list, especially the new emerald dragon edition, but the Gate just hits perfect for my ears.
Hi! I'm looking for suggestions, I recently got the Artti T10 and I really, really enjoy their sound. However, the little protrusion they have on the back (cable housing I guess?) makes them painful to wear for more than an hour or so; and their nozzle is kinda thick for my ear canals. For reference, I also have a pair of FiiO F9 Pro which I find very comfortable to wear for long periods, but they sound too dark and muddy compared to the T10. Are there any IEMs with a sound signature similar to the T10 but with smaller or more ergonomic housing and smaller nozzles? Preferably under US$200.
I’ve been using the Artti T10. For music i like the supermix4 better, but for gaming the T10 is so damn sharp, fantastic.
Any set that sound better than them? After I tried the artti t10, I wanted to try another sets, I like them very much.
Thank you! I love the artti t10, I was looking for a upgrade in the same price range, lol. Seems that isn't one yet. But I will probably get the F1 pro, when they are with a good price.
Usually, iems are pretty sensitive to eq, so you could always try that before jumping into a new pair. That said, ARTTI T10 or the Simgot EW300’s in a similar price range are both pretty good. I prefer a v-shape signature for rock in general, and these two hit above their price point. There’s also the Kiwi Ears KE4 which I’ve read are tuned to be like listening to speakers, but I’ve never heard them and they’re more than twice the price of the others. I currently run Moondrop Aria 2’s and Moondrop Robin’s (tws) as my daily driver iem’s and love them both, but they’re also a step up in price a little bit (~$100). The Aria 2’s I’m not convinced are upgrades to the T10 or EW300, but I already have them and think they sound great so I’m not worried about it. The Robins as wireless iems are so dope though. Super happy with them. I’ve also found that tips can make a pretty big impact on iems, and both comply foam tips and spring fit tips have made a huge impact in sound quality by improving the seal. All that said, sound is pretty subjective. Sometimes you just have to find something that you like more than you dislike, and be happy with it. It’s an expensive rabbit hole. I’m lucky that I grabbed a pair of Fostex TH-X00’s about 10 years ago that ended my search for headphones by being everything I wanted at a price I was ok with. Even after listening to $1000 Focal cans nothing I heard I thought justified a $600 price increase. They were a little bit better, but not $600 better. To me. Hopefully you can find a pair you’re happy with sooner than later! It’s fun, but as seen on the iem and headphone subreddits, you can end up buying an awful lot of pairs searching for what you want and iems in particular are near impossible to test before buying. Just read reviews, learn what sound signature you prefer (v-shape, neutral, etc) and hope for the best.
Artti T10 should also work for that.
I find them very comfortable once I get them rotated just right. Usually just move them by tiny fractions until they sit just right and then they’re fine.
NiceHCK F1 Pro and ARTTI T10. Have also tried KZ PRX, Letshuoer S08, and Kiwi Ears Aether.
NiceHCK F1 Pro, ARTTI T10, Aful Explorer, and at just above that range at $159, Meze Alba (I found an open box set for $99).
I bought the Hexa a few months ago when I found a good deal on an open box one. I bought it, like I have a couple of others such as the ARTTI T10, just because of the tremendous amount of hype. I wanted to see if it was as wonderful as everyone says; if I would be one of the ones who thought it was the best IEM ever. I’ve only listened to it a couple of times for fairly short periods because, at least so far, I just haven’t liked it that much. I know I haven’t really given it a fair trial yet, so maybe one of these days I’ll go back and give it some more listening time and play around with more different tips. If I still don’t like it after that, maybe I’ll sell it.
I’m one of the ones who thinks it sounds a bit too shouty/sharp. I don’t gravitate towards brighter, harsher sounding IEMs, but on the other hand I don’t think I’m super treble sensitive, either (I’m fine with ARRTI T10 and NiceHCK F1 Pro with the right tips and some people think they’re way too bright). I currently have the Penon Liqueur Orange tips on the Hexa because they have a reputation for emphasizing the bass and taming the upper regions a bit, but it’s still not quite there. I don’t have the Final E tips that are often recommended for this kind of sound adjustment because I haven’t been able to find them for less than $30/pack and that’s just too much.
