I think endgame is whatever you deem to be the pinnacle of the sound that you like. I have a pair of Campfire Ponderosas which were £800 give or take but I later bought a pair of Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lites for about £260 which, in my opinion, are significantly better. So for me endgame is £260, but for you it may be something else entirely.
r/iems • What is the cheapest iem that you could call "endgame" material ->What makes you think Campfire Audio isn't interesting? I'm also in the same boat as you as I have only a few shops in my country that sell IEMs, but I tried the Campfire Audio Ponderosa and immediately fell in love with it. Maybe because it was my first 800 dollar IEM that I listened to, but I generally felt that the sound profile just clicked with the bass boost knob on an iFi HipDac 3. With that in mind I bought the ZenDac V2 for my music production setup. I just need to save just a little more money and go back to that shop, but I'm very curious what you would recommend over Campfire Audio. I will see if your recommendations suit me better, when I'm in the market for the new IEMs.
r/iems • Why is the Aful Explorer the top of the list for this sub's top iem around $100-200? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
