I have Cca hm20. Decent. Great build quality.
Smallest I own are cca hm20. V shaped, bass hump. Can be fatiguing after a while Don’t yet own Tanchjim
Easily the CCA HM20. Over two decades listening to gear and this is definitely a favourite hidden-gem. This set is so unique. It has this super basshead slope but the dynamic driver used for this feels more 6inch subwoofer vs a 12inch. So it can still have this really deep lowend yet it is quite clean. The rest of the tuning is excellent with just enough presence for clarity and top end that is rolled off and never fatiguing. The form is much smaller than typical multi-driver shells and is very compact. Love these for watching movies, gaming, ambient genres. My Quintet in comparison is like someone turned on a bulb on in a dark room. They are just different acoustic takes and signatures. If they were damaged I’d replace them and/or try the KZ ZAR which might have a similar presentation.
