I'm playing with my cloud 3 wireless, my friend is playing with his iem and most of the time I'm able to track sounds better than him so honestly idk what to say. I bought an iem for myself anyways because I'm sick of using headsets and I want better sound to music anyways, I'm waiting for my CVJ Neko to arrive and I'm gonna test it on arc raiders

I'll suggest the cheap ones. For female vocals with sparkly treble, the **Tangzu Wan'er SG 2** is a genuine option. I can't promise if it's not sibilant for you. For boosted sub-bass with extended treble, the **Kefine Klean** is a compact choice. You have the option to increase upper mids. For bright vocals with expansive bass, the **CVJ Neko Youth Edition** is nice to consider. This never gets sibilant. For complex mixes with tasty bass and great deliverance towards mids and treble, the **TRN VX Pro+** still performs like a champ. Guaranteed toi have some sibilance though.

Vocals and Treble... It's definitely these 2: • Tangzu Wan'er SG 2 • CVJ Neko Youth Edition

TRN Shell is the king of this! It embarrasses IEMs that cost 5x as much. Sounds great too! CVJ Neko- I'm looking for a vibrant gold cable, and for $25 I can get this. It's even modular! Hidisz mk12 Ducbloke - I want a bright red cable, and I want Divinus Velvet (I think it's more expensive though so maybe not a great deal) Tangzu Wan'er is the default answer - Most people (including me) bought it because it's the same price as Tangzu Sancais on their own. And the new Red one comes with He Sonic tips, which are GREAT.

TL/DR But trust me! If you order from Ali then I HIGHLY recommend the CVJ Neko IEMs they're like 30USD which is by far the best value I've ever got and I have 30-40 sets ranging from the Wan'ers to 500 dollar Dunu Braindance IEMs. The Nekos build quality is on point. Full metal shells. The gold ones are sick in person. The cable is modular which means that you can switch the 3.5mm plug to the included 4.4mm balanced plug. And the cable quality is leaps and bound better than any cable I've received with anything under 100USD. Now onto the sound. The bass is NOTHING like the Wan'ers. Like others said those are not a bass centric IEM at all. The Nekos are EXACTLY what you're looking for. The bass is boosted without bleeding into the mids. The treble is clear without being piercing. And the instrument separation is something you don't usually get at this price point. Also I'd like to give you 2 recommendations. 1, coming from your previous set, you need to give them a few days so that your brain could psychoacoustically acclimate to clean bass. I'd presume to guess that your previous set was bloated bass that didn't stay in it's lane which, when your brain is used to it you're expecting to hear elevated bass when you're not supposed to. And the 2nd and most important thing is to make sure you have the correct eartips. You could have bass cannons in your ears, but if the eartips aren't getting a proper seal then all that bass leaks right out. Try different sizes of the stock eartips. Also when the IEMs are in your ears, wiggle the nozzles around in your canals so the tips still to the walls of your canals. And if you don't order from Ali which at this point I've never had a problem, then get the 7hz Elua Ultras on Amazon for the same price. But nowhere near the level of overall quality that the CVJ Nekos have.

My 100 dollar rec is usually the Hidizs MP143. The Defiiant would be another one then S08S. That's in order out of the ones I own. Some people complain about Juzear IEMs having pressure build up due to a poor venting implementation. I use the Mark from Super*Reviews technique where after insertion you lift the top of each ear to remove the air pressure built up upon insertion. The Hidizs MP143 comes with an awful cable so I'd recommend getting a nice replacement cable for them. NiceHCK has some nice ones for not too much. And then the Letshouer S08 came with a decent cable but I think the MP143 works best with multiple genres, the Defiant comes with the best cable, and I prefer their sound signature over the S08 by a small margin. Any of the 3 I listed will give you much better instrument separation and layering. After 2 weeks with any pair you will most likely be fully acclimated to their tonality. So I think you'd probably be happy with any of those. But I would buy from Amazon if you're in the US because of simple returns on the off chance after a 2 week trial you don't fully love them. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions, I could do my best to answer them. Good luck and I hope you're amazed by whatever you end up with! Oh and a $28us set that really surprised me for it's price on Ali is the CVJ Neko IEMs which I personally think hold their own against the others. And arguably come with the best cable and are the smallest shells out of the ones I've mentioned✌️💙🎶

Omg. That's so weird I'm about to do a review on these (sorry not these I thought these were the Pros. My bad! I have both tho. And the OG MP145 used to be my favorite planar, hint hint)... Spoiler alert... The MP145 Pros are AMAZING!! So I came onto Reddit right now literally to make a post on how to make IEMs fit better because of my upcoming review. And I want people to be able to experience what I am experiencing from a sub 200usd iem that IMO compete with some of my 350 to 500usd sets! Anyway, they do have a big shell which is part of why they have a large sound stage and some of the sound characteristics they have. Unfortunately this could be problematic for some people in regards to fitment. They did change the shape a little on the Pros in an attempt to make them more accessible by making the area behind the nozzle thinner and longer. Instead of short and stout. But, depending on your ears this could be a good thing. Especially for people who wear their IEMs deeper into their ear canals. But for people who wear them shallow, it could be more problematic than the OGs. So what I do, and I do this is for every IEM I get or if I put a new cable on an IEM that I already have. Unfortunately it requires a blow-dryer, heat gun, or (last resort) an electric space heater with a blower or fan. The shrink wrap near the 2 pin termination can be reshaped to tuck behind your ears. What I do is basically lay a blow-dryer sideways at the edge of my bed and turn it on high so the hot air is blowing outwardly from the edge of my bed. A kitchen counter works too but my blow-dryer moves around too easily. Then I pinch and twist the cable inward. I'll attach a picture and post 2 more cuz it only lets me attach 1 picture per post on the app. https://preview.redd.it/hspv149jg3qg1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fbacaa90b8aba03bbd7e9cbe765b9520a77ac4d

I love that you've got "the ear". I've been trying to get my friends IRL to become obsessed like I am but they just don't get it. Your reaction is EXACTLY what I want one of my friends to say after hearing some of my favorite IEMs. Anyway back to the plan lol. So this is what I'm thinking. If you have a hair dryer or easy access to one, I would try what I suggested. Cuz I could almost guarantee it's gonna solve the problem based on looking at your picture. I actually had that exact problem from the new ones when I first put them in. Once I did the hair-dryer trick, boom. Problem solved. And if I'm moving around a lot, then I use the chin cinch and pull it up under my chin for even more security. If you do keep those, I'd recommend getting a pair of size Medium CP145 SpinFit eartips. They have good synergy with the OG MP145s. The CP145 SpinFits are the tips I use for the ones you have. They're my favorite tips with those IEMs. And trust me, I've tried EVERY possible tip there is. Oh, and they're not the sticky ones (I find that type uncomfortable) they make my ears itch after a while. Now, the reason why I might suggest the new ones would be because the vocals are more forward like you want. They have less low end bass (the rumbley kind) if that's important to you. But they hit you with so much musical information, it's crazy! Like the dimension you mentioned, that's the sound characteristic I look for the most when buying new IEMs. I call it instrument separation and layering. But dimension is a good way to describe it too. Both versions are really good at this but if I had to pick one, to my ears, I'm hearing things in songs that I didn't notice were there. And I'm talking about songs I've heard a million times. That doesn't happen to me a lot these days cuz I have so many IEMs/headphones/DACs/Amps The only things about the new ones are that right now they're only available on Kickstarter. It says preorder but I'm not sure they might be actually sending em out now. I got mine at CanJam NYC. It's a headphone and IEM convention. And my other concern is that the new ones stick out of my ears a little more than the OGs. Lemme know if u try the hair-dryer trick and if it works. If u have any questions feel free to ask. Good luck!!

I'm totally happy to help. It's nice to interact with someone like you. I literally just deleted my post that was an attempt at sharing the information I shared with you. I got called a "braindead idiot" and a bunch of other negative stuff too. There were positive thankful people too. But I guess I have thin skin. Anyway, back to IEMs lol. I agree with you about the Letshouers. I have them. Too sharp in the highs for sure. I never use them. It sucks, cuz I think you would absolutely LOVE the MP145 Pros but I don't want you to end up with the same problem with the fit. But if you can buy them and return them if they don't fit well I recommend giving them a try when they become available to you. If you're ok with a deep insertion in your ear canal they would definitely fit more securely and wouldn't stick out any farther. I just prefer a shallow depth so for me they stick out further than the OGs. I'm looking at my collection and trying to think of something that is smaller with similar sound characteristics. I will say this, I have a set called the CVJ Nekos and they're only 30usd on Ali Express. And they're a good set for bass and are good for the money and come with a nice cable. They're definitely small. They come in gold and silver. I'm Italian-American so of course I picked the gold ones lol. I use Tangzu HE Sonic eartips with them. That's my budget recommendation for eartips and IEMs. I'll attach a pic. Maybe those could hold u over until you could try the MP145 Pros. Oh and the green eartips are Hidizs Sea Anemone tips. They sell them separately and come in a 3 pack of S,M,L. They come with the MP145 Pros which is cool cuz they're 20usd just for the tips. I'll keep thinking but in the meantime, here's a pic of the CVJ Nekos and their modular cable... https://preview.redd.it/e24tpvr2diqg1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a4c159baa7802390d937740753e64ff458eea87

The main thing that seemed to cause an uproar was the picture I sent you of my fugly ear that naturally folds down a little. Which makes it look like it's tugging at my ear. It was a recommendation that I learned and passed along. And, anyone that decides they want to try it can use their discretion as to how much they want to push the cable inward etc. You're clearly an intelligent person. For instance, you didn't just blindly take my word that the MP145Pros are awesome. I think you'll really like them, but there's no possible way for me to know that. And you seemed to understand that without me saying it. Then you went and did some more research. I assume that everyone is going to know to do that. Sorry for my rant but it bothered me a lot after posting it. I have thin skin. It's funny, people never speak to me like that in real life lol. Anyway, I so hope you end up with something amazing whatever it is. Oh btw, I was going through my collection listening to things that I haven't listened to in a while. If you ever have the chance to listen to the 7hz Timeless IIs do it! They have that same type of spaciousness, dimension/instrument separation. They look big but on the inside of them they're not and they would probably fit your ears fine and they don't protrude far from your ear. And they have more bass than the MP145 pros. But the vocals are more forward on the MP145 Pros. Oh, and thank you for your kindness! I needed it lol.

Thanks for that. I do take things to heart. Cuz I spent like an hour annotating the pictures I posted. Also, I did post a picture with them off. And edited the post after the first comment that said it looked painful. And specifically said "my ears are fugly and naturally fold down. Reddit isn't allowing me to delete pictures so please disregard the second picture." And people still went in. I don't know if I'm cut out for the internet. Cuz I do get butthurt when I'm putting up a post to be helpful and people are being jerks. My thought was, if you don't want to follow this advice fine. Keep it moving. Just don't say anything. Like the kid that commented on your totally normal looking eye. Hypothetically, if you did have something wrong with your eye, you would probably be self conscious about it which would make the comment even meaner. He was shocked that I felt that him saying, "your eye looked weird" was rude. So I asked him, if you walked by someone on the street, would you randomly say that to someone. I know for a fact he would say it to me. I'm a Gemini, as nice as I could be, I could be twice as mean if I'm pushed to it. But I don't want that. I'm trying to be a helpful member of a community. I'm new to the idea of people getting away with talking sh** to me. The only reason I even have the time to do any of this is because my mother fell and broke her back and like 13 other bones so I walked away from a lucrative career, moved her into my house and became her caretaker. I work for a company that pays me. But I took a MAJOR pay cut. Not to mention, I'm not the type of person that likes to be home like this. But she doesn't want to be in an assisted living facility and she had a tough life so I'm trying to do everything I can to make her happy. But there's downtime. So I got back into hifi and started posting up here. Sorry for spilling my guts. I guess I'm a sensitive dude. And this whole time I thought I was a tough guy lol But thanks again for basically being my internet therapist lol. If we lived in the same country I swear I'd mail you my Timeless IIs as a thank you.

Omg, no! No weird therapist vibes at all. If anything, it felt like I was putting you in the therapist seat and sitting on the couch lol. Honestly, you've given me really good, insightful advice! You're clearly of high intelligence and extremely evolved. Especially for your age (which I don't know, but judging from your "weird eye pic" lol, you appear to be like 20ish if I had to guess) Regardless, I find it impressive that you could let stuff roll off your back like that. Me and my friends grew up a little different. This is a completely devolved and embarrassing 'for instance'. But even when me and my boy went to CanJam he, and by proxy me, almost got in a fight with the parking garage staff. Just cuz one of them was being mildly pushy with him. I didn't even realize what was happening, I was in the passenger seat of his car putting IEMs in my backpack. But as soon as he got out of the car, so did I. So that's the kind of "crew" I grew up with🤦. And the kind of person I used to be. But, at the end of the night, the lady that served him at White Castle was very courteous and friendly, and he went back inside and handed her a 20. Me and him are like brothers and we're both like that. We wear our hearts on our sleeves. We care too much sometimes I think. And I've always lurked on the internet but never really posted much. My account is 8years old and I didn't even know I had one till I decided I was going to periodically postt up reviews. I mean, I was on Instagram posting up pics of my sneakers/sneaker collection a couple years ago and everyone was cool. No one ever said, "those shoes are ugly, you're a stupid person for buying them" lol. But Reddit is different. I vaguely remember the dudes from Headphones dot com saying, "those guys over at Reddit are savages" on their podcast. So, I have to listen to your advice and let these things roll off my back. These people are not even in my life so it really doesn't make sense to even respond. But when I post up, I try to respond to everyone and up vote them. I guess I'm supposed to just post up and be the discussion starter and then let people say what they wanna say. And just focus on the cool people. Anyways, thank you so much. I think I was supposed to be helping you if I recall 🤔 Soooo, anytime you need audio advice, feel free to hit me up. And then I'll give you advice and narcissistically make the rest of the conversation about me lol. And on the off chance you know someone with a P.O. box in the US, I'm a man of my word. I'll send you the Timeless IIs like new with original packaging for your extreme kindness. And I'm being serious. I went from😞 to 😀 cuz of your advice. To me, that means something.✌️💙🎶

You've earned an unlimited credit line for sure! lol Not that I wouldn't have helped anyway. For instance, there was one (nice) guy that I was talking with, and he asked me for advice on IEMs under 100usd and had a few sonic characteristics. I asked him for a few songs that diversely represent his music library. I looked through my collection and grabbed as many IEMs that fit within his budget and preferences. Then I made a playlist on Tidal of his songs. Then proceeded to A/B test several IEMs for multiple hours like a mad scientist in order to give him my best personal choice... with the caveat that everyone hears differently. He was appreciative. But the point of this story is to show you the picture I took of the aftermath of all the quick A/B test switching. I thought you might get a kick out of it🤷. I thought it was kinda funny... https://preview.redd.it/yc9f4c1av8rg1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b84fd653b6fae602f4081e06ec70607a581bbbef So I'm committed to helping. And you are most certainly included in my roster! As a matter of fact, I'm gonna follow you or whatever, so I don't forget. I only follow like one other person cause he was really cool.

You're gonna wanna basically keep it like this in front of the blow-dryer for as long as your hand could stand the heat. Then put it back in front of the blow-dryer for a couple more seconds. Then quickly put the IEM in your ear and pull the cable tightly behind your ear in the crease. Hold it there for like 30 seconds or so and it should stay put. That, coupled with pulling the cable cinch from the Y splitter up under your chin could help. With the OG MP145s I use SpinFit CP145s.I so hope this helps. https://preview.redd.it/4a9ss2xbl3qg1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a530dace0de0de7e7159e477d359ed596c663a1b

Just out of curiosity, and I'm honestly asking, why would you say something like that? Seriously. I'm trying to understand the motivation of meanspirited comments in what's supposed to be a group of like-minded people talking about their dovetailing interests. Asking for advice and giving advice. When I go to CanJam NYC every year, it's basically the equivalent of an audiophile subreddit but in real life. Everyone is friendly. And no one would ever say something like that. Is it the anonymity. And the fact that you could say whatever you want without any consequences? I really am trying to find this out because I posted something the other day to try to help people and I got lambasted. So honestly, I'm just trying to get inside the mind of someone that would say something like that so I can understand the internet more cuz I rarely interacted online till recently. She was cool about it but I perceived that comment as being unnecessarily mean. Also, I unequivocally disagree.

I don't know, I just feel like if I posted up a picture of myself and someone said his eye looks weird, it wouldn't make me feel that good. I must be a little guarded rn because I just had something happen to me where people were saying mean things while I was trying to be helpful. So maybe, I took your post to be more harsh than it was. If I did, my bad. But ask yourself this, in real life, would you, walk by someone and say that? Cuz my definition of negative is, something you wouldn't say to a random stranger in passing in real life. And I don't know if you're clicking on the picture and seeing the entire shot, but it's abundantly clear that she's not wearing glasses. But anyway, maybe it's a misunderstanding. She didn't seem to be offended by it. I just saw it and was like, huh 🤔 So no harm no foul I guess 🤷

(The IEMs in the pics are the Fosi IM4s oh and the amp is the Fosi ZA3) I don't know what it is about that orange mesh but I love it! Fosi's one of those brands that aesthetically appeals to me so much. To the point where I was going to keep IEMs that I didn't like the sound of. The Fosi IM4s just weren't hittin right. I felt like they got overwhelmed during busy passages and most importantly to me there just didn't seem to be any separation between instruments. So I went to my instrument separation kings the Hidizs MP145 Pros, and my Dunu Braindances. They had separation but they weren't hittin' like normal either. They still both sounded very good to my ears, whereas the Fosi's didn't. But nothing was sounding as good as it normally does. But, the last week or so has been very stressful and I was kinda feeling a little low. Well I've broken out of my funk and the Fosi's sound pretty darn good today. Thank goodness cuz I love the way they look! And to me, aesthetics matter A LOT. But it's crazy how many factors are at play when it comes to liking or disliking a pair of IEMs. If I write a review, I've listen to the IEMs every day for at least 2 weeks. It is so difficult to do reviews or rec something. Especially if you actually care whether the person or people on the other side of those recommendations likes their purchase. Anyway, I just wanted to post up a few pics and see if anyone has em and see what people think of them.

That's crazy, I was gonna order those the other day. I could gave you a quick impression RN cuz I just unboxed the thing I got instead. Which is the KZ Duonic cuz I like that black chrome look. I will get the Tears at some point. But my 30 and under rec is still the CVJ Nekos unless you're treble sensitive then I'd go with the Dunu Titan Xs. But the cable that comes with the Nekos is at least worth $20 imo. It's waaaay better than the cable that came with my Ziigaat Horizons lol. I heard Ziigaat cables weren't good but daaamn. When u get a $330 set of IEMs the cable shouldn't be in the same conversation as a cable that comes with a $30 set lol🤦‍♂️

Really, after typing a response to him I saw this message and then realized that he said that he returned his original ones. I love the original ones but I ended up liking the new ones more. To my ears they were crazy like "hear everything" crazy. And they made my poorly recorded early '90s hip hop sound like it has depth. The OG's did something special with women's vocals to my ears I remember thinking it sounded very ethereal. Not saying natural but something better than natural almost. Anyways that sucks that you didn't like the second ones as much. I just ordered the Letshouer Astralises cuz people were clamoring about them and I usually don't order stuff I don't like aesthetically. And I sooo don't like em aesthetically especially in person. And I'm gonna give em a week but they are lame imo. I could see if someone that listens to a lot of metal liking them cuz their really tame in the treble region. In fact, just after a day with them I became super sensitive to treble for a couple hours lol. I was like, these ruined my whole collection and don't even like em🤬 But then I bounced back and all my stuff sounded good again. After a week tho, I'm nervous. Part of me doesn't want to risk it.

Damn it I wish u lived close to me. I'd let you borrow them for a couple weeks cuz I think you'd grow to love them. They're definitely a set that psychoacoustically burns in better than most And I can't believe how ridiculously accurate what you said about the Softears Volume S and the Cozoy D1s being a 30 dollar set that you don't need but got em cuz "IT'S REALLY PURPLE" (made me literally lol btw) applies to me. Like you literally just summed me up completely in a paragraph!!!! I've been wanting the Volume S forever!! Ironically, I LOVE carbon fiber. But it looks like a cheap shitty piece of laminate. I also like that shape. But for some reason they just jook awful to me. And I just received KZ Duonics from Amazon ln cuz I like the black chrome mirror look and the red dot at the bottom. I never heard a pair of KZs that didn't hurt my ears. I listened to an Eminem song and every time a snare hit it felt like a nail being tapped into my ear by a hammer! But I'll probably keep em cuz they look cool and they were 30 bucks Which these days buys a value meal at McDonald's 🙄 Then you like 90s hip hop! Ugh sometimes I wish this SubReddit was IEMs/Connecticut. Cuz I can't get my friends to bite. I've literally offered to give them total setups like over the ear open backs, iems, a desktop and DAC, and a solid dongle DAC/amp. They won't even take all that for free. And I'm talking about well over $1000 worth of gear just to get them started! I want a local hifi friend sooooooo bad lol.

Audio Twins Activate! (U might not get that reference) It's old af. I wash I was in Australia! It's awestralium there. Ugh🤦‍♂️ I just reached my quota for corny jokes for the day. Anyway, it's funny cuz I played around with the switches on the Duonics and dialed it in so it does hurt me anymore! Either that or I put em on after the Astralises (which make me treble sensitive after wearing em for a while). But I assumed it was just something in their "house sound" that maybe has a frequency spike at a frequency I'm sensitive to but nope. They're alright. Ironically I have the AM16 Bass Edition and those are the ones that hurt my ears and made me think the Duonics had the same peak that hurts me! I was mad cuz I had high hopes for those. But I like the Duonics now (for the price). One thing I wish about KZ is that they'd stop using those damn QDC cables! I think the problem was really mostly that in order to get bass I could feel, I have to turn em up so loud that the spike becomes ear piercing. I had the same problem with the Harmonicdyne x Zeos Ares headphones. I was really upset I had to return those cuz when you do turn em up crazy loud, they vibrate your whole head. It was awesome! But to get em there something in the treble was ear piercing. That's kinda why I'm not a "basshead" when it comes to headphones and IEMs. Cuz I grew up in the hayday of car stereo systems. Unfortunately I was the one with the shitty car lol. All my friends had nice cars and dope ass systems. I didn't bother putting one in my car. Although, I installed everyone else's in their cars. I was the kid from the hood that ended up having friends that were upper middle class. That didn't stop me from turning them into a bunch of hoodlums tho. Their parents just LOVED me lol Those were the best times of my life tho. But I digress. I'll definitely try out the Vibe Xs once they're available on Amazon US. I was hoping it was the one I had my eye on. I just searched Amazon, the ones I want are called the Axes. I love the way the white and silver version!

Well, shit now I gotta go order the cable 🤣🤣🤣 I have the OG MP145s too. They sound a lot different. The OGs have more bass, the newer ones have lower masking and faster transients and decay which makes them super revealing. I'm pretty sure that's because of the stronger magnetic strength and I'm not sure if they used thinner film for the diaphragm but that would be a reason too. Either way, I hear EVERYTHING. If they catch you off guard at first stick with them. They'll grow on you like a fungus. But a good fungus lol. This is some of the nerdy section of my review notes btw. So if you end up seeing my review posted up, you might get a little deja vu. Definitely let me know what you think about both after getting some proper ear time with em. And now I gotta find me an orange cable. I have a red 8 core Openheart. So if u ordered an 8 core that's probably what I'll shoot for so will be twinsies lol. Sorry for being a bad influence 😔 Edit: I read your response quickly and I thought it said that you have the OG's. They're totally different so if you did have them they wouldn't negate each other. But another commenter and a reviewer or two said they like the OG's better. I remember when the Timeless IIs came out hearing people say that and feeling like I might have made a mistake. But I ended up loving the Timeless IIs. In fact ironically they're the ones that have the red Openheart cable on them LOL https://preview.redd.it/uwvqkceqtbyg1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de18927800a5ae396e3771880434051a999361bf

No, I've got a rough draft written but I'm still putting it together. Since you've already ordered yours I can say this... They kinda broke me. I couldn't like another IEM for several purchases. And I bought some good ones. They just weren't as good. For me, and I hope you too, it's an IEM that was revealing things in songs I heard a million times. I have a bunch of notes on this in the rough draft of my review. But I was surprised cuz that hasn't happened for a long time! Also, they're one of those sets that gets better and better. I mentioned psychoacoustic burn-in in title of this post. So I feel that every set gets better with time. But these do moreso than a lot of others. I'm not generally treble sensitive and I don't find them too brite at all. But others have commented on treble. And I don't want to over hype them, which is partly why I'm having difficulty finishing my review, but if I had to choose 1 IEM out of the 50ish pairs in my collection... Actually I can't choose 1 lol but if I had to choose 3, they'd probably be those, my Dunu Braindances, and my Thieaudio Hype 4mk2s. I haven't breach the $500 price point cuz honestly, I haven't heard kilobuck sets that made me think I'm missing out. But, I haven't heard the Campfire Audio U12Ts yet and from everything I've heard about em, I'm probably gonna love them. IF I ever hear them. I'm probably better off not hearing them actually lol.

You're welcome!! Thanks for calling me an expert. I've never been called that before. Even though it's not true lol, I like it. So, I don't personally think titanium shells will make much of a difference acoustically, but I can't say for sure cuz I don't own any titanium versions. I'd like to cuz, well, titanium is awesome lol. I have a weird obsession with titanium and carbon fiber. And as for burn in, I want to clarify,I don't believe in transducer burn-in (the transducer is the little speaker inside the IEM) which in this case is a planar driver. But psychoacoustic burn-in is 100% a real thing. And it depends. But if you're coming from another IEM that is tuned completely different, it's possible that they might sound a little strange at first. I like to listen for a while the 1st day to get my brain acclimated to the tuning. And then, for me, I like to listen for at least 2 weeks before making a final judgement on them. But if I write a review, after the 2 weeks I do comparisons with other sets. But that doesn't really apply to u unless your inclined to review them. Your mood can have an effect on how you perceive sound. Which is why I like to give an IEM 2 weeks before final decision. Volume level is definitely something that I think matters a lot IMO cuz some songs are mixed and mastered differently than others. So I constantly make minor adjustments as I listen. And sometimes, like if I'm laying down to go to sleep I'll set my IEMs at a lower volume to the point where even songs produced during the loudness wars won't startle me. (IEMs with good instrument separation help me fall asleep). Cuz I have ADHD and my mind races so with good instrument separation I start focusing on certain sounds and it keeps my mind from racing. Oh, and I personally prefer them with the red nozzles. And they come with a set of their premium Sea Anemone eartips. They happen to be my favorite tips in general for sound and comfort. I generally wear a size large with a shallow insertion depth. But with the 145pros, since they're some chonkers, and they have a long thin taper after the nozzle I actually use size small eartips with a deep insertion depth I to my ear canals. It might take some getting used to that feeling. But I did despite thinking there was no way I would.

Oh jeez, now I just read this post after typing a response to your other post. I can't believe how much I agree with you on everything!!!! Oh also, I was pissed when the ZH3 came out cuz I had the ZD3 and ZA3 for my speakers and I was wishing that was out when I got my ZD3 cuz its just a DAC and it was pretty much the same price. I loved the circle screen so much when it first came out that I needed it! It doesn't have the orange holes on the sides either. They all should. It looks so awesome. The thing that sucks though, is my Fosi gear and Wiim Ultra is what's driving my speakers which are frickin beautiful but I didn't get them until after I bought the DAC and amp and my speakers are black and red. Ironically, my nightstand desktop headphone stack totally matches my speakers. (Topping L70 and E70) I'm glad I got my speakers even tho they don't match the components powering them cuz they don't make them anymore. They're the SpeakerBox 5s and the newer versions are matte. I'm gonna attach a pic of one when I first got em. What do ya think? https://preview.redd.it/3tcc6smmdcyg1.jpeg?width=1115&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e4b3d7fab3dee3113b22efb27e233840c627f99

Right!? I had to get em even though they don't match the components powering them. And thanks! I was hoping/thinking since we definitely have similar taste in aesthetics that you'd like em. In fact, I was curious about R2R DACs and you just saved me 320 dollars cuz I was gonna get the K13. But, if I got the K11... definitely red! I figured it was all hype. Ive said before, I've heard bigger differences between eartips than DACs especially and sometimes amps sound a little different, or combo DAC/amps. But I tell newer people in the hobby to find the right eartips. And to find the right match between eartips and IEMs. I have my all arounders but there's some IEMs that pair better with specific tips. That does suck though, cuz I was hold out a lot of hope for the K13. And for whatever reason, I have a lot of fun buying desktop gear despite the fact that I have so much stuff already. But everyone was on about R2R sounding holographic and "night and day difference". I generally don't try to change people's minds, cuz placebo effect is amazingly real. So people probably do hear night and day differences. And who am I to yuck their yum. I wish placebo worked better on me. Not saying I'm impervious to it but a lot less than a lot of other people. If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure the DAC architecture is identical between yours and the K13. So they probably sound identical other than the upgrades like more power, which I didn't care about. My main 3 reasons for wanting the K13 over the K11 was mainly the remote control, then the circle window on top, and all my cables are balanced. That's another thing I don't notice a difference in. It just a power output thing for me. I like that your pros and cons list wasn't a list at all🤣🤣🤣 But, that would have probably been my list too.

Damn thanks dude!!! I didn't want you to have to type all that out but good frickin look dude!👊 I've heard of REW before, and I'm on Squiglinks a decent amount just to get an inkling of an idea what something's gonna sound like. Although it's really not super helpful cuz my HRTF isn't the same as measurement equipment. Even a 40-$50k B&K 5128 ain't telling me that😕 The dudes from The Headphone Show/Headphones.com are lucky. I don't know if you saw the video where they went to England and got theirs measured with little microphones in their ear canals in an anechoic chamber. It would be awesome if we could just go to a local audiologist and throw em a couple hundred bucks to get our own. But it was cool to see on a graph how they heard headphones completely different. I also wish everyone was more aware of that fact. I try not to say a certain set of IEMs or headphones is "garbage" or "terrible" toas apposed to, "I personally didn't like care for them because..." Cuz everyone hears things differently but anyways... I have a couple DAPs and a couple Dongle DAC/amps with PEQ and Divinus Velvet wide bores. But all my stuff is 10 band so I wouldn't be able to manually type in your values cuz u rockin with 20 bands! Which is crazy, I didn't know the T71 had a 20 band EQ!!! That's comprehensive af, kinda like your instructions, thanks again homie fr I appreciate it🙏🫡
