Dita Project M for sure.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->I hope you won’t find offence in me referring to your age, but I’ve noticed that quite a lot of the ‘older’ IEM reviewers like a bright sound, and many of them also like the planars, likely due to natural hearing degradation in the upper frequencies. So I’d look at the S12 or the T10 to start. For higher end stuff, maybe the Dita Project M would be a good fit, but honestly I’d recommend starting with a $100 set, as there’s so many variable to preferences in IEM that it’s risky getting an expensive one from the get go. I can’t suggest many bright IEMs as I prefer the complete opposite tonality :) My personal favourite is the Yanyin Mahina at the moment. But anyway, I’d definitely learn to use Auto-EQ to learn what your tastes are exactly, and try try out the signature of different IEMs. Also, investing in decent tips (stock ones are usually mediocre) is essential, my vote goes to Spinfits
r/iems • Born again Audiophile ->I am in the same boat! Using baroque tips today to see how they pan out. I HATE foam but I will try as you say this corrects the issue. I am not treble sensitive as I rock the Dita Project M with ZERO issues at any volume. If I use the 5+2 at a medium volume I don’t get the harshness but I want to JAM and sometimes that means turning it up , which at this point I can not do. I agree with the technical aspects you touch on, just needs tips to fix its problems. Pretty incredible iem for the price if I can get the tips right.

r/iems • IEMs worth a blind buy ->I'd say Tanchjim Origin and Elysian Pilgrim are the best on that list for soundstage size (pilgrim has slightly better separation but origin is no slouch). Braindance (and, by extension, the Dita Project M) I personally love but wouldn't recommend because it seems to be quite anatomy dependent (some people find its treble god awful while others love it. If you can get it from Amazon or a store that let's u return it then maybe go for it). Tangzu bajie is on Shenzhenaudio and linsoul for around 510usd rn and that can be a consideration (I typically like neutral to neutral-bright but that iem blew me away). I actually like dusk in analog the most and its midrange is beautiful imo (especially vocals)
r/inearfidelity • IEM recommendations under 500$ ->DITA Project M. 10 seconds is all I needed. Just too much treble for me.
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
