Noob iem bloke talking lol.  Demoed the clara and glacier. Unfortunately, i couldn't demoed the prestige ltd in my area. I also demoed the mesk mk2. In my personal opinion, I enjoyed and found the glacier a step above the mesk mk2.  The glacier has a nice soundstage, very detail, v shaped but feels balanced to me with good details and sounds musical. The clara on the other hand, my god.. the vocal and instrument, especially the guitar and drum sound so natural and realistic to me. It sound more smooth to me~ it is not as detail as the glacier, but its smooth in an enjoyable and unfatigued way. The bass on the glacier was was tactile and to my liking. The bass on the clara was abit stronger than my preference with good texture, which probably could be eqed lower to my liking. Fitwise, the clara is probably more suited for smaller ears. The glacier is heavier but it was comfortable still for me. Well... I can comfortably wear the monarch mk2 n 3 I think most iem will fit me fine 🤣😂  Honestly, need more time as I am still not sure if I prefer the glacier or the clara at this point of time. Hope my comment even help alittle lol

It’s the best Harman set. Is it the best 1k, no. It’s very good though. Great buy for $850!

I listened to several >$1000 today the only one that came close was the Dunu Glacier. The Valhalla's left my jaw wide open never heard anything that fantastic I was amazed. The glacier was also very very good and the soundstage was incredible. Pure sound the I loved the Valhalla's, almost as good sound + 3D soundstage + - $700 my vote goes to the Glacier. Enjoy your new toy!

The Ziigaat Estrella are great for Pink Floyd but if you double your budget the Dunu Glacier is like hearing them for the first time.

I couldn't get the Dunu Glacier out of my head after hearing it and 1 year later I got them for my self. That's why I don't want to test another Dac after the Fiio M21 they can't be better if I haven't tried them.

Dunu Glacier sounded as good or better than other kilobuck IEMs but with a better sound stage I love these things :)

For my ears no. Although quit heavy the shape grabs my ear like it was made for my ears as for sound while it has much treble never a problem for me. I have listened for 10 hours strait with out any discomfort.

Hey. I don't have the IE900 but I have the Dunu Glacier and they are by far my favourite IEMs. The sound signature is really out of this world. For classical, female vocals (pop) and EDM, they should be a perfect match. In general they have all-rounder qualities. Surprisingly I can run them on my whole playlist with a vast selection of different genres, and I never have the feeling that something sounds strange. The thing about the DUNU Glacier is that this sound does not ask for your attention, it just takes it. They are energetic in every way, without letting the mids sound thin or too transparent. The soundstage and 3D-Holographic effect are TOTL. What I mean is that they are very immersive sounding. Are they detailed sounding? I would say in the lower and higher end, absolutely. But if you are looking for micro-details in the mids - no. They are too energetic for that in the bass and treble. Not everyone likes that. Especially people looking for this type of micro-details, will find more enjoyment in something sounding more neutral, like the Mega5EST. Others would say the neutral sounding meta IEMs sound boring compared to something like the Glacier. It is really more a preference thing and for what you are looking for. The bass is high-quality, textured and detailed in every way and its quantity is also kind of basshead-level, without bleeding into the mids, which are still cristal clear. In some songs with a lot of sub-bass, it can be a bit boomy. I would not describe the mids as very smooth, if you are looking for that. But still very clean. The treble is.... very illuminated without being too bright. In that area it is very smooth. Some people say 5khz-6khz have too much energy, but this is really a preference thing. For me personally it is kind of required to balance out the high amount of bass and making them sound so well saturated and contrasty. All in all I would describe the sound has a lot of energy, but they are still sounding natural in a lot of ways.

I had the tea pro and there is nothing wrong with it, they are very competitive in this price bucket. But that it competes with 3-4x the price is simply not true. I have the Dunu Glacier as well and it’s quite a big difference.

Try to get a used Dunu Glacier in good condition. Clarity, Bass and Soundstage are outstanding and it has the best EST Treble I’ve heard so far.

Actually this is an easy answer. Check with EQ which target you like most. If you like Harman, the Glacier is unquestionable TOTL Harman Endgame. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. I know there are some people who dislike Harman but really like the Glaciers, because the implementation is so good. But this people don’t LOVE them in the long run.

I have the Variations and the Glacier. They don’t sound identical at all. Variations sound thin compared to the Glacier. Maybe it’s my unit of the Variations. They sound very clean and detailed, but thin. Glacier on the other hand sounds natural with lots of bass

To start, it'd be best if you could somehow demo purchases this expensive first! Between the 3, if you know you like Harman tuning, Glacier would be good. A bit heavy but otherwise no issue with fit. (I can fit Thieaudio sets fine so I'm usually okay with most larger sets). I have a bias towards Prestige LTD because I own one, but the Clara has a more fun and safe tuning. The bass is more fun on the Clara compared to the Prestige LTD, but it's nowhere near basshead levels. I think I would like a bit more upper mids on Clara, but overall I like it. I didn't get a chance to have them side by side, or else I would give a better comparison. Personally, it wasn't worth it for me to own both, but it's definitely a good option for a new purchase. There's also a ton of IEMs out there if you're willing to pay up to a Clara. One that I'm interested in hearing is the Thieaudio Valhalla, I've been hearing positive things from friends who have heard it. The metal build seems nice, even if I had no complaints about the Thieaudio resin builds.

I have both and the ie900 is one of the cleanest and most detailed sounding iem I have heard to date and the glacier is on the same level nontheless, the bass is just great with both but the glacier has a stronger rumble and slam while the ie900 is more controlled I would say and the bump on the lower midrange gives more body especially to male vocals, as for the soundstage, both are very capable with perhaps an edge for the Glacier which sounds more around your head while the IE900 is more like a deep straight line in front of you, if that makes any sense. As you also mention the fact that you like female vocals, classical music and instrumental I would suggest that you lean more towards the Glacier as it is a more fun all rounder, since the recessed upper midrange of the ie900 is not for everyone although to me they sound very natural and also great with any music you play, but that's up to your preference as I don't know how the u12t sound apart from what I see in the graph.

It's still a good set and could suit your preferences if you like clean mids and rumbly sub bass. The Volare are also good, a bit warmer but not too much. they come across as slightly bassier than the Glacier, with better physicality in the mid bass, but worse upper mids. Never tried the Variations, so don't know about that.

Glacier is cleaner and voices sound more natural, while the Volare has slightly recessed upper mids, and sounds a bit duller. Neither of them sounds muddy, but the Volare has more body than the Glacier.

I’d say the first break point is somewhere around $300ish, then the next break point is “entry” kilobucks around $1k. So for the first break point IEMs like Dusk, anything Xenns, Thieaudio, Softears, so on and so forth, and for the second break point you have a lot of solid options like Monarchs, Dunu Glacier, CFA Andromedas, 64 Audio U4S, etc. Edit: to clarify, those are the points where I think you get the biggest jumps in quality relative to price points around them. So I don’t think it’s as worth it to move beyond that $300-$400 price point unless you’re jumping up to $1k.

I have both the Glacier and the Variations. The Glacier has a bigger sound, it's not Harman exactly, it's wide and sparkly and has deeper bass. The Variations are much more clinical sounding, and I do like a clinical sound. I love both but for different reasons. If you want a good Harman tuned set, look at the Heartfield CU8 as well, I call it my mini Glacier, it sounds similar but of course it doesn't have the grand sound the Glacier has.

I have three that immediately come to mind. The first I bought on sale for $20, the Seeaudio x Tangzu Shimin Li Encounter Edition. It's an all metal shell IEM that has a Vee shaped tuning, just a really good set especially for the price. The second is the TOTL Simgot, the EM10, it's a 10 driver set that has a Harman tuning, with excellent bass quality, and great details and instrument separation. The third is the Ziigaat Estrella, which is ok out of the box, but if tuned with the Shortbus Audio tape mod becomes a top tier set. This is one of my favorite IEMs along with the Dunu Glacier, Thieaudio Monarch mk3, MEST mk2 and Canpur CP622B.

The Ziigaat Estrella with Shortbus Audio YouTube reviews tape mod. For me it competes with some of the best endgame IEMs that I own including the MEST mk2, Dunu Glacier, Thieaudio Origin, and Canpur CP622B.

For me it comes down to my three current favorites, the Dunu Glacier, the Canpur CP622B and the Ziigaat Estrella. The Canpur is a fantastic set, but it has two cons for me, the shell is very large and the details and dynamic range can be fatiguing after a couple of hours. The Estrella's shells are smaller and more comfortable for long listening sessions, and while not as intense as listening to the Canpur it can on occasion be too intense at times. That leaves the Dunu Glacier which I can use for hours on end and not feel fatigue. The shell is very large but fits my ears very well and is a great sounding set.

I have not heard the CA Clara yet, but I have heard the Prestige Ltd and own the Dunu Glacier. If you enjoy accurate and impactful bass with a holographic soundstage in one of the best metal shells I've seen get the Glacier. I also like the Prestige sound signature, but the build quality can't touch the Glaciers.

Although the Glacier is a heavier IEM, I personally have zero problems wearing them all day. They are shaped well and fit nicely in my ears. I like the stainless steel shells for their passive noise isolation properties. I also haven't had a problem with my ears getting to hot and I have used them at work for hours on end.

I use them at work sometimes and I do electrical work and never had a problem. I do use a Fiio UTWS5 Bluetooth modules and Penon Liqueur Orange eartips and they stay very secure.

I have several favorites for different situations and moods. For critical listening and the best sound I’ve heard, it’s the Canpur CP622B. The only problem with this IEM is the fit, I’m unable to wear them for more than a couple of hours. For just fun and exciting music it’s the Ziigaat Estrella with the Shortbus Audio tape mod. For sleep it’s either the Dunu Glacier or the Xenns Tea Pro. And for everyday listening it’s the FiiO FX17. I truly believe FiiO created a masterpiece with this set and I know it sounds crazy, but at $1500 I think it’s a bargain.

The UM MEST mk ll is the smallest and probably going to be the most comfortable for the majority of people, but the Dunu Glacier, then the Fiio FX17, are the most comfortable to me. The Glacier is almost like it was custom-made for my ears.

The Glacier is a fantastic IEM, a vee shaped set that is fun and has great soundstage, but the timber can sound a little unnatural at times. The FX17 is a warm set with some of the smoothest treble I've ever heard while still being very detailed. To me, it is a miracle that Fiio can sell the FX17 for the price they do. Titanium shells and 16 EST drivers by themselves should cost about what the whole package sells for. All that to say that the FX17 is my favorite all-around IEM and it would probably be a toss-up between the Que and the Glacier as to which would be my second.
