I'd take a look at the EPZ Q1 Pros, one of the best neutral sets I've heard under $50 bucks
r/iems • Need an IEM below 50$ for music production ->> Q1 not on the same level I have found the Q1 Pro to be unbelievably tip-sensitive, so I'm still a bit cautious about recommending it, but it happened to be at the top of my head when coming up with some examples. I would typically recommend the Cadenza or T10 to most people, unless they have a specific preference. It's another one in the list of potentially equally valid choices though. For me, the treble on the Q1 Pro sounded really weird with every tip, until I put Whizzer ET-100s on it. I think the length of those has eliminated some resonance modes. After that, I'd say they do sound slightly better than the Cadenza (if you want a leaner sound, without being bright like Simgots) and the harsh treble peaks are gone. Really big YMMV on recommending them though, for opposite reasons to the Red: they also happen to be tiny and really comfortable. Slightly heavier than Cadenza but also a bit smaller. I find the Cadenza touch more comfortable normally, but I can side sleep in the EPZs with less issues. It doesn't hurt that the ET-100 tip is exceptionally comfortable unless it's paired with a really long nozzle. The original Q1 is a completely different. Very weird, ultra-dark, low-eargain tuning. Agree that one is not a recommendation unless someone is looking for that specifically. It's really nice looking though. Delci isn't a 100% safe recommendation either as it's definitely a dark tuning and I find it a bit fatiguing due to the big treble dip. But others report no fatigue whatsoever and in terms of fidelity, it's quite far ahead of the Red. Good for anyone specifically looking for a darker tuning, but I agree the Red's tuning would be safer for more people, if that were all there was to it.
r/iems • What are the overall best IEMs for around 50usd ->I have or have had all of these. 1. Ziigaat Nuo - Didn't like these. Tonality is OK but the soundstage is very flat, almost like listening in mono. 2. TRN Conch - These are basically a worse-tuned Simgot EW200. Quite bright like the EW200, but with added treble spikes that make it worse. The EW200 is good and pretty techincal but somewhat v-shaped. 3. EPZ Q1 Pro - These are good with caveats, see below. 4. Blon BL03 - Great fun v-shaped tuning (lots of bass and treble, but mids are recessed so they don't work well for all music). Fit can be a problem because they have really short nozzles. Initially, I really didn't like the EPZ Q1 Pro because it had quite spiky treble. However I seem to have solved this by using Whizzer ET100 tips. With those tips, they are much more balanced and sound like a competent Harman-neutral that sounds quite clean & doesn't get too bright. Soundstage is about average, but imaging is quite good. The reason I caveat this is that just because the ET100 tips work for me, doesn't mean they will work for you. They are an unusually long tip, and these sound wrong to me with every other tip I've tried, which tells me that there's a length-mode resonance that affects their tuning in a way that I don't get on any of my other ~30 IEMs. So I assume they are more sensitive than average to the length of your ear canal, and hence YMMV quite a lot. I have the Q1 and the Q1 Pro. I don't recommend the original Q1 unless you specifically want a very dark tuning. It's quite odd and not a safe recommendation at all. The Pro is completely different, much more normal Harman tuning not unlike lots of other IEMs but it's quite a nice one iff you get lucky with the stock tips or can find ones that fix the resonances. The Kiwi Ears Cadenza is quite similar to the EPZ Q1 Pro, but it's very slightly darker and bassier. Imaging on the EPZ is slightly better & the soundstage is a bit bigger, but it's only a small difference. The Cadenza is a bit of a safer option because a lot more people have it and it's very consistently recommended. Might be outside your budget unless it's on sale though. In terms of build quality, I'd say the EPZ > Nuo > Conch > Cadenza > EW200 > BL03. The EW200 is the worst-looking and feels a bit cheap despite being all-metal. The BL03 feels very solid but looks a bit bland and the short nozzle is a problem. The EPZ, Nuo and Candenza are all comfortable ergonomic shells, but the Cadenza is the lightest. The Conch comes with the best cable, but it's not a standard 2-pin, it's QDC, so not great for use on other IEMs. The BL03 cable is terrible and it's hard to find replacements that fit properly.

r/iems • Looking for Quality IEM under $25 ->If you’re looking for another set with a tuning similar to the reds, I recommend you the amazing EPZ Q1 Pro, I said this to another guy who was dissatisfied with the reds, same issue as everyone else (including me) nozzle size and discomfort. Try the amazing EPZ Q1 Pro, they sound really similar, but they’re so much more comfortable and really beautiful, faceplates are hand made so there’s no 2 alike. They only lack a little bit of detail compared to the Reds, but I bet you’ll like them if you’re looking for a tuning close to the reds. For the price, you’re getting great IEMs with the EPZ Q1 Pro and cable is so much better than the one that comes with the reds. I leave you the graph so you can compare them. https://preview.redd.it/ankc3bpe6o5e1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dac943dba1395c7066ce86a58e05ecec0006b8b8
r/iems • Got my first IEM today ->EPZ Q1 Pro. It has less bass, but after EQ it can be pretty much the 7Hz Zero 2.1. And also it has the B&K 5128 measurements, so it might be useful
r/inearfidelity • Recommend me IEMs like Salnotes Zero 2 ->hard to not have a boost tbh (as far as i know). in my opinion, i think the harman tuning is probably the most all-arounder. personally i use the epz q1 pro, which are a neutral-bright (more brightness than bass, but the bass in itself is very analytical) piece and it is really good
r/iems • Any good $20 iems for music production? ->i don't necessarily have them, but they seem to be the most balanced and (somewhat?) realistic in terms of sound for what you might need (personally, i have the epz q1 pro for music production/mixing and they are perfect)
r/iems • Suggest best budget IEMs for video editing (<$20) ->since no one seems to have given it love, i will. epz q1 pro, a hidden gem imo
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->Simgot EA500LM is probably closest to having 8 inch monitor speakers on your desk. The EW200 also works, these are very similar. If you want something less bassy like 5 inch monitor speakers, there's EPZ Q1 Pro.
r/inearfidelity • Budget IEM for video editing/mobile gaming? ->I find the EPZ Q1 Pro absolutely perfect for orchestral music. I'm a string player.
r/iems • IEMs for Classical Music ->EPZ Q1 Pro will not disappoint and it is way under your budget
r/iems • IEM for classical/ accoustic jazz music: impressive sound stage and neutral instrument sound. ->I play violin in a band and need to hear clear and crispness of my instrument and good separation as well. I used the Shure SE215 for a few years and recently made the switch to Chifi. The Shures were amazing at isolating everything but they didn't have much treble response.. outside of the band even the cheapest chifi sounded better. I have tried 5 or 6 chifi iems and the EPZ Q1 Pro with foam tips is my favourite for performing. They have excellent clarity and separation of instruments. Plus they are on the smaller side so they are very discrete but they have a beautiful shell. Using foam tips helps bring out a bit of bass but they still have good clarity. They are also amazing for listening to music. Also consider Sennheiser ie200. If you don't get good sound isolation, it won't matter what the iems sound like on a loud stage!
r/iems • Female Vocalist needing IEM advice ->I also think the EPZ Q1 pro is the best bet
r/iems • Any good $20 iems for music production? ->EPZ Q1 pro is the best iem for indie rock and instrumental in its price range. Wide soundstage, amazing clarity and instrument separation. Definitely worth the few extra dollars over the ones you mentioned. Out of the ones you mentioned, the Chu 2 has the best details and treble extension for the genres you listen to. It's just that the Q1 pro is in a class of its own. I know my Chu 2 is great but it never gets used anymore because of the Q1 pro.
r/iems • Best budget iem for soundstage, imaging and clarity(7hz x crinacle zero 2, kz castor, moondrop chu2) ->EPZ Q1 pro, if you haven't tried it, you really should!
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->EPZ Q1 pro has the big soundstage you are looking for
r/iems • Looking for Quality IEM under $25 ->The natural upgrade from 7hz zero is the epz q1 pro. https://preview.redd.it/bvk2hh3ombie1.jpeg?width=1291&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa095a960bb2d001a1768861a9fa1736d74e0d06
r/iems • Best IEM Under $30 with a balanced signature for Clarity & Detail? ->If you have an epz q1 pro, try copying juzear clear's bass shelf. Same driver config. Also, for non-bassheads, do yourself a favor and ask Ducbloke for his epz q1 pro PEQ, turns it from a sub $50 to $150+ easily.
