friends FiiO FA19, he got them for Counter Strike but they work in every title basically, it's not one of those headphones/IEM that are just wide(you don't need a lot of depth for Counter Strike, Valorant, games like that) edit:/ if you want best comfort and still good for gaming I'd say getting a custom Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite is best option, usually all of the good stuff for gaming are rly bulky, 64 Audio Volur, FiiO FA19, Xenns Mangird Top, Xenns Mangird Tea Pro and Top, Thieaudio Monarch MKIII, they all have bunch of drivers, Orchestra Lites do too but they got only small BA drivers no big drivers alongside it and CIEM version is molded to your ear so you get perfect comfort edit#2:/ I personally use Intuaura Splendor II, it's a single DD(tiny and super light to most stuff good for gaming) with some might say too much venting, isolation is dogshit but love them, I put them on with some Dunu or FiiO foam tips and they disappear in my ear, can wear them for 10+ hours straight
r/iems • The best IEM's you have tried for Gaming? ->Fa19, fx17 if vocal lover bit a bit underwhelming for the price and setup :/
r/iems • What are the best Fiio IEMs you have tried? ->Fiio FA19, still using it lol
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->I bought and still own both the FD7 and FA19 at launch, both of which are still going strong. I bought both specifically for gaming and the FA19 are absolutely perfect for both single player and competitive gaming, so I’d highly recommend those, if within your budget for that particular use case. The FD7 have good bass, good imaging and good perceived soundstage for the price, to my ears, but keep in mind, in that regard, that my experience is limited to the IEM’s I’ve purchased and used (JVC HA-FDX1, Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk, Sennheiser IE600).
r/iems • What are the best Fiio IEMs you have tried? ->Check out the Fiio FA19, they’re great for gaming, within your budget.
r/iems • iem recommendations for gaming ->For competitive shooters, imaging is a priority, as you need to know precisely where your target is/where specific sounds are coming from, so that’s probably the defining factor. I bought the Fiio FA19 specifically for gaming and can at least, personally, vouch for those being great for my use case.
r/iems • What's the difference between gaming IEM and a normal IEM? ->I absolutely agree. I tried some expensive FA19 IEMs with hearing aid drivers to compensate for sibilance, and they weren’t as good as my £2.50 Chinese IEMs.
r/iems • I quit ->Don’t buy into the hype. There’s nothing fundamentally different between one dynamic earphone and another, apart from build quality, sibilance and forum marketing. For certain tracks the IE600 is too sharp, while other earphones I own (including some weird bone conduction types) are no good for vocals. Once you hit £100 diminishing marginal returns hits very hard, quickly reaching extinction by £101. The FA19s I tried were unspeakably bad, hence my comment that even cheap earphones are subjectively more enjoyable, even if testing them is not economically sensible. The key to all this is subjective enjoyment rather than what an influencer is paid to give a five star review. Frankly, the use of audiobabble such as “technicalities” by YouTube reviewers is beyond irritating.
