I have the Fiio FH5S and would not recommend it. They just sound a little "off" to me (and I really like Fiio IEMs for the most part). It would push you up around $300 but the FH7S is excellent. I also have the Aful Performer 5+2 and they are great. I think most people would prefer the dot of the Aful over the Fiio. I have not tried any of the others on your list.
I was at the same boat! I had the same experience with explorers and comparisons like kunten, bunny etc. I guess after a little more usage my brain prefered that one much more..but.. I had to tuned it a bit with eq. Just a little bit and it made it perfect for my taste. I am sharing the graph Now I find it almost as good as my fh5, which I love but i guess I prefer explorers for long listenings. They are much more relaxed.
I use the FH5 for sim racing and it works quite well. No complaints.
Fiio FH5 paired with the Fiio Utws3.
I'm looking for another pair of IEMs, at the moment I'm using Fiio FH5, as they are extremely comfortable and more neutral tuned (bass is not that important to me, and I hate high treble). Do you have some recommendations within 100-150 USD?
What other options would be between 200 and 400 then? I see that FH5 retailed for around 300 USD, but I got them for 100 discounted, so I guess its not fair to compare it to 100$ iems today
Love switching it up with IEMs too. Found that rabbit hole a couple years ago and scooped a Moondrop Starfield, Ikko OH10, Final Audio A4000 and Fiio FH5, all with their own unique traits I enjoy. But currently looking at getting a higher end IEM and selling one or two of these. The Blessing line seems legendary at this point. I haven't heard any but there's so many dang options out there it's hard to choose.
*** NOTE: Specifically looking for feedback from people who have had/tried/appreciated the exact IEMs I have and what upgrade(s) were worthwhile to you. *** Here you see my modest collection: - Final Audio A4000 - (love it’s fit and huge soundstage) - Fiio FH5 - (love it’s big punchy bass and full sound) - Moondrop Starfield - (love it’s neutrality and natural sound) - Ikko OH10 - (bass bass bass) Curious to hear advice from anyone who also upgraded from any of these. These are all slightly older IEMs and I’ve been thinking about upgrading. Preferably, what does more or less exactly what these do, but better? I’m fully aware of diminishing returns and I’m overall happy with what I have, just in a place now where I can upgrade and want to if it’s a sizable jump. What do you love now more than these?
The FH5 went out of production end of 2021 iirc. I got a pair heavily discounted during christmas 2021 probably because of this. The FH5S was being introduced early in 2021 and replaced it. Albeit with a very different sound. As for the FH3 they sound similar in tuning to the FH5 (to my ears) and with current pricing they are a great buy in my opinion.

Letshuoer S08. Great technicals and a nice, natural mild v-shaped tuning. They sound really great with everything from drum & bass to Hans Zimmer scores. Theyre not exactly power hungry, but they do benefit from a bit more juice than the average set. Or maybe Fiio FH5, especially if you're not opposed to buying 2nd hand. Warmish but natural tuning with really nice technicals and excellent bass, tho a bit more sub-bass than mid bass. A very well balanced all-rounder set, and has been my go-to set for just plugging into the phone and running errands, airporting or whatever. I also really liked the Juzear Defiants, especially in this price range, but they sacrificed technicals for a more energetic and musical sound. Very fun set, just not for critical listening.
FH3 are a great buy at their current pricing. I'm still stuck on the FH5, myself.
