FiiO - FH7

deuce for hip-hop yes, fh7 is more for detail in vocals and instruments, for genres like acoustic/ballads/classical. fh7 can play hip hop but it won't be exciting, it lacks low bass

Care to share a few impressions or short reviews about Fiio IEMs you have tried? Last time Fiio FH7 - it sounded expansive and has good bass for my EDM playlist Have tried their first planar IEM but did not really like it. Now I am looking to try another one of their IEMs.

Like most here, I've made use of many chi-fi IEMs over the past few years, and am finally looking to pull the trigger on some endgame IEMs. My main pair currently has been the FiiO FH7, which I've been using happily since it released. My biggest issue is that they slide out of my ears often and require constant readjusting for proper fitment. Looking into some top end IEMs a few have caught my eye for the praise of their sound profiles and ergonomic fitment, most notably the Thieaudio Prestige LTD, the Dunu Glacier, and the CA Clara (I have gone through the head-fi discussions for all three). Obviously these are a huge step up in price, but that's what I expect for endgame equipment. There is nowhere around me to demo any of them however, so I'd be pulling the trigger blind at a level of expense high above what I'm used to. If anyone has experience with these IEMs, or any other endgame recommendations I'd love to hear your takes. My priorities are a solid performer across all genres of music, comfort for long listening sessions, and build quality since my goal longevity. As a note, I'm powering with a Chord Mojo 2. Looking through this subreddit's top 5 IEM recommendations I didn't see any option for "no budget," hence me making this post. If an IEM has a good soundstage and imagining would it be good for gaming? I deffs have gaming in the back of my mind but I've been on the hunt for an iem that's really good for music (suits my tastes). I've got the Fiio FH7 and beyerdynamic xelento at the moment, deffs prefer the Fiio but still not exactly what I want. Have been thinking of trying out the Sony IER-Z1R.

Generally I use fiio iems. I have a digital audio player running flac. On the go, I use their bluetooth utws3 blutooth amps with cheaper fd3 iem. With all the outside noise I don’t need full spec. There is decent thump. For more critical listening I use fh7 wired Iems. I enjoy them both. With a good eq you should be able to find your sound.

Fiio FH7 is what I use. They have now updated them to FH7s models. For the price to performance, they are great.
