FiiO - JD1

I agree with you on the build quality, but in terms of sound, I find the FiiO JD1 to sound better. They may not be the most balanced, but they're fun to listen to. I also own the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, Moondrop Chu 2, Tangzu Wan’er SG2, and KZ Castor, but the JD1 still stands out in my daily use. Of course, audio preferences are subjective—thanks for sharing yours! 😊

Lots of BUDGET options, I'm currently loving a pair of £10 (Amazon)FiiO JD10 USB C IEMs, they have built in tuning modes so I saves faffing around with your player. They also do the 3.5mm version of your player doesn't support usb audio. I also have a pair of KZ EDX PRO IEMs which are good, they're even better now I've switched the 3.5mm cable for an upgraded silver usb c cable 👍🏼 So check the FiiO & KZ ranges, not all of us can afford £200 on a pair of ear candy 😉 oh and I listened to everything from classical to blues, k-pop to metal, dance to jazz 😂 quite eclectic

The build quality is shit in 1 months the paint is gone and after 3 months the 2 pin female connector on my left iem broke. As it broke physically the warranty does not claim. And for long listening sessions my ears hurt. Now I got the moondrop chu II i am in love with the build quality and sound is nice too only con is no mic.

Jd1 is tricky, it's really hard to even up it's upper midrange. I would skip it.

Just go for these! Fiio jd1 x headphonezone is also a bass monster, the best bass in the segment!

There is a budget iem by Fiio called JD10 it's cost less than $10. I bought it it's quite good for it's price and you can change it's cable too.

Used my Truthear Hola for more than a year. Had to go for a type-c iem after upgrading my phone. Decided FiiO JD1 as its type-C version comes with an inbuilt Hi-Res dac.

JD1 is louder and sharper due to the DAC. It has better bass. Hi-Res support is an added bonus. Hola sounds more balanced. It fits better and gives little to no fatigue. I like them both however let's see how far JD1 lasts, cables and everything.

All my previous earphones and headsets were nothing compared to Truthear Hola & FiiO JD1. In turn, these two are just basic compared to options available in higher price segment. Between these two I prefer Hola due to a more balanced sound. However, it has gone out of production.

Fiio jd1 were also good. Especially for vocals.

All iems have good mics afaik. My jd1 came back from warranty so havent bought anything new yet

Jd1 has a built in dac so it's the best

And has built in equalizer settings too
