I agree with you on the build quality, but in terms of sound, I find the FiiO JD1 to sound better. They may not be the most balanced, but they're fun to listen to. I also own the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, Moondrop Chu 2, Tangzu Wan’er SG2, and KZ Castor, but the JD1 still stands out in my daily use. Of course, audio preferences are subjective—thanks for sharing yours! 😊

Lots of BUDGET options, I'm currently loving a pair of £10 (Amazon)FiiO JD10 USB C IEMs, they have built in tuning modes so I saves faffing around with your player. They also do the 3.5mm version of your player doesn't support usb audio. I also have a pair of KZ EDX PRO IEMs which are good, they're even better now I've switched the 3.5mm cable for an upgraded silver usb c cable 👍🏼 So check the FiiO & KZ ranges, not all of us can afford £200 on a pair of ear candy 😉 oh and I listened to everything from classical to blues, k-pop to metal, dance to jazz 😂 quite eclectic

These are the few eq presets in the screenshots, and this white one is actually the 40-band tune, and yes, I am that guy who posted these in the same subreddit. a long time ago NOW NEED SUGGESTION FOR NEXT IEM PAIR AND DAC. 1. currently looking at the Truthhear Gate and the JCally JM12 DAC 2. Twistura D minor set 3. Tangzu Warner SG 2 Red Dragon edition or that jade dragon edition 4. Sim got ew 100p Tell me if you guys any better pair for me I listen to bollywood, english, Spanish, and Japanese, and also hip hop and metal and pop as well. To be honest, I have barely listened to this iem without the DAC, and from after the very first week of usage of the iem, i go down the realms of tuning so deeply that i have created so many, like 9-10 types of tunes so far and am currently using an endgame type of 40-band tune eq on it from 25 Hz to 20 kHz. I have tuned each and every band individually on the parametric EQ app of Fiio and also have taken measurable increases and decreases of the Q values and filter type as well. I don't think there are as many people like me who are crazy enough to try to tune that budget piece to the absolute max. with the tune, the base tune is like a U-shaped, relaxed type, but with the dac and that tune, it reaches another level; no one can say that it is just an 800 rupee IEM and all. These are the specific tune preset I am talking about In one word, I have kept care of these while tuning it for the final time that it must be Refined Harman Neutral with tight bass, slight vocal focus, and controlled analytical airy These took me like 4-5 months of time to come to this tune finally; I had to listen for all genres of song for like 2-3 hours a day in full volume to catch even the smallest details and all and put it in an excel sheet |Frequency|Gain|Q|Filter| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |20 Hz|\+3.0|0.7|Peak| |25 Hz|\+3.0|0.7|Peak| |31 Hz|\+2.6|0.8|Peak| |40 Hz|\+2.5|0.9|Peak| |50 Hz|\+2.4|0.9|Peak| |63 Hz|\+2.0|1.0|Peak| |80 Hz|\+2.0|1.0|Peak| |100 Hz|\+1.5|1.0|Peak| |125 Hz|\+1.0|1.0|Peak| |160 Hz|\+0.8|1.0|Peak| |200 Hz|\+0.2|1.0|Peak| |250 Hz|0.0|1.0|Peak| |315 Hz|\-0.5|1.0|Peak| |400 Hz|\-1.0|1.1|Peak| |500 Hz|\-0.5|1.0|Peak| |630 Hz|\-0.2|1.0|Peak| |800 Hz|0.0|1.0|Peak| |1 kHz|\+0.3|0.9|Peak| |1.25 kHz|\+0.7|0.9|Peak| |1.6 kHz|\+0.9|0.9|Peak| |2 kHz|\+0.8|0.9|Peak| |2.5 kHz|\+0.4|1.0|Peak| |3.15 kHz|\+0.4|1.0|Peak| |4 kHz|\+0.6|1.0|Peak| |5 kHz|\-0.4|1.0|Peak| |6.3 kHz|\+1.4|0.9|Peak| |8 kHz|\+2.0|0.8|Peak| |9 kHz|\+2.0|0.8|Peak| |10 kHz|\+1.8|0.8|Peak| |11 kHz|\+1.8|0.8|Peak| |12.5 kHz|\+1.8|0.8|Peak| |14 kHz|\+1.6|0.8|Peak| |16 kHz|\+1.2|0.7|Peak| |18 kHz|\+1.0|0.7|Peak| |20 kHz|\+0.8|0.7|Peak|

Never buy things for a specific purpose from Amazon that's a general store which obtains products from various middle men... Should have researched before buying... Try from headphonezone or the audio store... Concept kart has worked fine for me but there is too much controversy online so i would recommend to stay away from it for a time being... Genuinely they had a good pre sale service idk about post sale... Also next time if want to try one of these for the budgets: 1. Fiio jd10 (cheapest 900₹) (current use) 2. Truthear gate 3. 7HZ x Crinacle Zero: 2 4. kiwi ear belle (current use) 5. Kefine Klean 6. Moondrop LANII (5.5k₹) 7. Fiio jt1 (wired headphones) (current use) 8. 1Mii AI Y8+ (bluetooth)

The build quality is shit in 1 months the paint is gone and after 3 months the 2 pin female connector on my left iem broke. As it broke physically the warranty does not claim. And for long listening sessions my ears hurt. Now I got the moondrop chu II i am in love with the build quality and sound is nice too only con is no mic.

Jd1 is tricky, it's really hard to even up it's upper midrange. I would skip it.

Just go for these! Fiio jd1 x headphonezone is also a bass monster, the best bass in the segment!
