Final Audio e series are bullet style. The wire drops down with no ear hook. e3000 is around $60 where the e4000 is around $150. They've been around for awhile so reviews are few and far between. Etymotic also have bullet style IEMs...but I'm not familiar with the model names. There are more...but by bullet style is what you're looking for

Depending on what you mean by “comfortable” you might consider “bullet style” ear buds like those from the Japanese company, Final Audio. Their “e-series” has different price points. The Final e-3000 is what I have.

I prefer warm and relax sounding earphones. I own Hype 2, Truthear Hexa, Tin audio T3+ and Final audio E3000. Below are my preferences. Top is most preferred and bottom is least preferred. 1. Final Audio E3000 (OEM tips) 2. Truthear Hexa (With Final E tips) 3. Hype 2 (Foam tips) 4. Tin T3+ (Divinus Velvet tips) I've ordered Tea pro. I will update the list once I receive it. But so far E3000 tops my list. My priority is warm and laid back listening. E3000 plays like a boss on everything that you throw. I prefer hearing tamizh songs. So, it's obvious to experience poor recordings on some old songs. But, I never had problem like fatigue, sibilance etc on those recordings. There are some IEMs like Shozy zero which does have a laid back signature but E3000 does the job without compromising on the details even though there are clipping in the high frequency, I never felt like I'm missing something. It's an unique tuning. Hexa is very close to E3000 in that aspect but it slightly lacks bass. Hype 2 and T3+ are intolerant on poor recordings. But Hype 2 and T3+ perform so well on good recordings. Still, I rate E3000 on top due to it's versatility, simple design and unique magical tuning. E3000 is my go to IEM always. Infact the one which I'm holding now is the 3rd E3000 IEM (lost one and other stopped working after dropping in water accidentally). Hope this helps.

I liked the the final audio e3000 but they would be considered quite dark. Another option I quite enjoy is the Artti t10

Final Audio E3000. I’m convinced you can’t find better sound for the price. An incredible budget option at $55.00.

E3000 should be good options and it have detachachable cable for longetivity. Among my budget list above, tanchjim ultima would be the one with best quality driver. You should try it if you have extra budget. Whether the tuning fit your taste, its different issue.

Piggybacking to second Final Audio. Their E3000 is around $50 and has a slightly warm sound but still detailed. It would complement the sound of the iPod. (I use a 5.5 gen and sometimes have used these or Shure Se215s ($100) when my Mackie MP-240s fail.

I like earhooks. That said, the Final Audio removable ear hooks are very annoying to use. I vaguely recall that the Final Audio IEMs which I tried was the 3000. I generally have no issues with molded ear hooks which are on all other cables unless there is an issue with the cable thickness or stiffness.
