Budget gaming pick, but poor cables and polarizing bass.

Final Audio e series are bullet style. The wire drops down with no ear hook. e3000 is around $60 where the e4000 is around $150. They've been around for awhile so reviews are few and far between. Etymotic also have bullet style IEMs...but I'm not familiar with the model names. There are more...but by bullet style is what you're looking for
I've had E3000, 4000 and 5000. Sold everything except the 3000. They're just exceptional. The mid-bass texture can be compared with IEMs 20 times their price. And yes, they draw almost the same amount of power as my Sennheiser HD 600. Also, on a powerful enough amp, listen to G.O.A.T by Polyphia. I was driven to tears, it sounded that good. The bass guitar slaps are just pure bliss.
Adding onto this as my favourite pair for gaming was the final e4000. Great for music nice punchy bass and natural guitars but I found it amazing for gaming it had better positional sound than my artti t10s which I'm currently using since my e4000s broke.
There is a clear objective answer - headphones are less harmful than iems. But i have never used headphones because I am sensitive to heat and in summer months, which is most of the year, headphones are unbearable. I use iems but bullet types. From personal experience they seems to be safer them traditional iems. I have used Vsonic Gr07 and Blon-03 in the past and within days of use I got mild sense of tinnitus. In both several years apart. Never thought of touching iems again. I am sticking with soundmagic e11 and final audio e4000 for the foreseeable future.
Final E4000 should fit your bill. I have the E5000 which I would suggest more if you could up your budget a bit or you can find a good deal. Very special and appealing tuning. I often come back to this one from other IEMs.
I prefer to use my Truthear Hexa's for gaming . I have to confess though. Well made and tuned 1DD are my favorites. FInal e4000 and Etymotic ER2 XR are the ones I use the most.
