Loving mine too. It's a great complement to the Macbeth depending on how I'm feeling that day.
r/iems • Forte Mefisto - best bass I've heard on an IEM so controlled and smooth! ->I agree they can be uncomfortable for many users' ears depending on how the tips are being supported in the ear canal. I have found that the stock Final E ear tips are not very good for overall sound quality. They may help boost bass, but they tend to sacrifice med high to treble zones. The best tips I have found are the Eletech Baroque luxury tips. Just be sure to buy a variety pack if possible or check the circumference size of the ear tips and compare it with what normally fits the size of your ear canals. I would say that these require a bit of finesse to get them in your ears and completely sealed. Some people have to get one size up from what they are used to getting. The trick to inserting them is to lift your ear up by grabbing the top tip of your ear. Hold your ear up until the eartip is in the correct position and depth and then release your ears down on top of them. This helps create a better seal. These tips are not as rigid, so they flex a lot more easily. They do enhance sound really well. Great bass, excellent vocal enhancement, and good treble detail preservation. My ear canals are slightly different in size than one another, so I have to use two different ear tip sizes to get a perfect fit and seal. Don't be afraid to experiment with different sizes. Sometimes, the smaller diameter sizes allow for deeper penetrative into your ear canals while still creating a seal. Other times, you just need to get a eartip size that allows you to get a medium depth insertion. Sorry to go on an on. The Eletech Baroque luxury tips are great, though. Lastly, I recently bought the Forté Ears Macbeth flagship iems, and these have a better sound quality to my preferences. They have top-level treble detail retrieval and amazing vocals that are enhanced in a very unique way by using the same Dual Sonion BCDs as the Novus, but they are customized to only work in the Mid to high Mids sound regions. The Macbeth IEMs produce a W shaped tuning profile. The dual BA Diablo Bass drivers are one of a kind customized by Sonion to have some of the best sounding and detailed bass I have heard. And if you hadn't told me, they sound just like a top end Dynamic Driver setup. These are excellent all-rounders. More so than the Novus, which is more weighted towards bass heavy genre music, like EDM, Rap, and bass heavy pop. Macbeth's bass is enhanced enough to be more than enough to use with EDM or rap music, just to quite as accentuated as the Novus' bass.
r/iems • My new Astell&Kern NOVUS arrived ->i demo'ed the macbeth today and was kinda disappointed. The vocals had an coloration which felt rather off to me. Did not know about this iem as my intention was to try out the ice lab spectrumica.
r/iems • Alpha Omega Omega ->My Auditory memory would be mushy at this point. I was listening to the song “shallow” by Bradley cooper and lady gaga using a iPhone 13 with FiiO ka15 dongle. My impression was the male vocals seemed lacking in the low mids? This is in comparison with all BA iems which I’m used to.
r/iems • Alpha Omega Omega ->If you ever get to a show, and the forte ears Macbeth is there, man that is a wow iem
r/iems • The ZiiGaat Odyssey is my endgame. Selling my XENSS Tea Pro ->I would say Ive been tip rolling on them a lot. It has a huge nozzle, so from my usual medium I sized down to small. First on final e tips, but sadly, theyve been getting stuck in my ears so recently I’ve jumped to Eletech Baroques. The macbeth I bought also included a set so I’ve been quite enjoying them. So yes, Ive settled on eletech baroques small tips for it.
r/iems • Alpha Omega Omega ->I have not heard the canpur set yet, its def on my list. As to how the macbeth and the omega compare. In the bass, Omega is thick and syrupy, and powerful, I feel it punching me for reals. It has lots of quantity, but also lots and lots of quality. Its the best bass Ive heard period. Its very bass forward. The macbeth scales down on bass quantity, but still punches and slams, albeit a bit less syrupy than the omegas, but with some thickness to the note, as compared to omega, its thick period. The macbeths bass is also accompanied by a lot of texture as its the nature of a ba driver, Id say though that youd never notice the bass comes out of a ba driver and more out of a dd, its that good. The mids, the omegas mids are super lush, male vocals sound super good and thick, Female vocals sound ethereal. Instruments also have weight on the note to them. In comparison the macbeths mids are just...holographic, and engaging, and forward, but not to the point of sibilance or fatigue, theyre on the lushy side, but not completely so, vocals and instruments seem to float around me. The highs, the highs on the omega are sparkly, ethereal, and dark, Its like the bass is the star of the show and everything on the highs seem a bit recessed, but not to the point that its undetailed, in actuality its very detailed, yet it has a super non fatiguing quality to it. The macbeths are very, very detailed. I wouldve thought they were bright, but to be honest theyre really not, just very detailed. Some songs here and there can get sibilant tho, and I try to avoid em with this set. The treble on the macbeths is just as holographic, as high hats on a tech house song for example seem to float around my head. Its truly a marvel. Id say its a super balanced set with a bass boost. Hits a lot harder than the thieaudio mk3 even though the graphs dont appear so.
r/iems • Alpha Omega Omega ->nice! I liked it more than the macbeth when I demo'd them both. the mefisto sounds detailed, clean, more balanced and easier to wear than the macbeth.
r/iems • Forte Mefisto - best bass I've heard on an IEM so controlled and smooth! ->Forte Ears MacBeth, gotta love it
r/inearfidelity • Best iem design? ->I heard an IEM with the craziest imaging and soundstage I’ve ever heard, the Macbeth by Forte Ears. Tonality is meh but the soundstage makes it the ultimate “gaming IEM” and for movies too.
