gk kuntens. can be found <15$ with sound quality that punches to 50$ to many ears. widely appealing allrounder so budget + soundwise they're a good safe blind buy 7hz zero 2 - if the kuntens aren't available, safe all rounder as well wan'er 2 or tanchjim bunny - if you want vocals to shine kz duonic - if you love alot of bass
gk kuntens are what you want <30$
Well, he isn't high on the AFUL Explorers, which are pretty treble relaxed. Frankly, the most glaring omission is the uber flagship beater GK Kuntens. What's Listener thinking?! :P
The chu2's are awesome. The Gk Kuntens are also a pretty nice recent IEM that's getting a ton of praise. Very inexpensive.
Received mine a few hours ago The hype is REAL As real as it gets https://preview.redd.it/w3qc3friwv1g1.jpeg?width=2304&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec43fc5806b14034640d523394f6874856025d84
Thank the Lord for GK* (they're independent from KZ now)
Speaker 2.0: Pebbles or R12u Speaker 2.1: M206BT on sale Speaker 2.0 Bookshelf: MR3/MR4 Headphones: SR850 / JT1 IEM: GK Kuntens / Salnotes Zero
Tangzu Wan'er S.G II are great IEM for money, when you take to account that there are included Tangzu Sancai eartips which on their own cost $15,they are great for vocals and comfort is dependent,I can't get them properly fit, tried several others eartips, depending on what music you are listening then these one I would choose Kbear KB01 they are been my favourite IEM for while, still using them or swapping between them and KZ GK Kunten and 7hz Zero2,just included eartips are let down for me,one of nicest IEM when it comes to comfort and sound 7hz Zero2 are another good set of IEM,great comfort fit, never had issues with using them and they sound okay although they can struggle in complex tracks,in some tracks they excel but in some tracks I swapping them to KB01 KZ GK Kunten,if you get them under Β£10/$10 they are great IEM for money if you get them for that price, after using them for more than month, sometimes I prefer GK Kunten sound, they can struggle in complex tracks, eartips and cable is disposable item on these IEM sadly
Best budget: Celest IgnitexBeast (10 USD QoA amazon limited promo) This 1DD+1BA shocked me how bad it was for everything else BUT dubstep, dnb, edm, sounded incredible. The custom BA driver is very capable. GK Kunten 1DD (2.52 USD aliexpress new user promo) Tuning is excellent for general listening. Fit is okay but only up to 45 mins. Doesn't handle eq very well. AM16 8BA (32 USD aliexpress) The absolute king of budget BA with a caveat. It's my favorite set but only with eq. Without it, is unlistenable uness only for artificially produced genres or gaming. UERR target: The best rendition of Emotions by Mariah Carey. Even beating my B2s which are 10x more. VE8 target: Incredibly coherent for Japanese music. Worst: Nothing? I guess I'm pretty lucky to have only bought bangers this year :)
Kuntens are what I use, get replacement cable and eartips if your willing, VERY worth the price. With a little eqing they sound better than any midrange headphones I've used for danm near free.
For $11-13 the G.K Kunten is one of the better options, the Kunten uses the same driver and tuning as the KZ Zenith ($40-50) but in a resin shell with an alloy face plate, it has a similar tuning as the Vivace. https://audioamigo.squig.link/?share=KZ_Zenith_UUUU,Tripowin_Vivace
I have it (for a couple of days now) and like it better than other KZ offerings like the EDX Pro 2, Gale and ZVX Pro, the treble is lower than the ZVX Pro but not as low as the Gale it has no peaks or harshness for me. I really like the tuning. To me it sounds fuller than the ZVX Pro and more detailed than the Gale/EDX Pro 2. They are very tip sensitive they come with short stem Starlines (which I usually skip but) those are the ones that worked better for me after trying a wide variety, tips mostly affect the treble and with some it can become harsh. Kunten > Gale > EDX Pro 2 > Polaris > ZVX Pro (it has too much treble for me).
I got these and was going to buy new eartips as I didn't like the feel and as the OP mentioned doesn't fit so well in ears. Then I saw a comment on a post and someone suggested reversing tip and found this video and reversed it and voila I'm a happy man now! https://youtu.be/ak4T0mfP_UY
