HIDIZS - MD4

I was after a pair of planar Iems as even though I have a load of headphones, nothing really beat my Hifiman Edition XS. I did have a pair of BASN Mix-PD and they were my best IEMs until I got a pair of Hidiz MD4, as the Hidiz have great upper frequency resolution. Enter the Letshuoer S12 Pro.... The S12 pro are without doubt the best IEMs I've heard, and I have barely touched the Hifimans for weeks. They have a solid bass with the same upper clarity as the hidiz, they sound better than the SM4. The build quality is amazing and when paired with a decent cable (a tripowin zonie) they look great too. OK you are not getting the super wide sound stage that over ears give you, but they are holographic in thier own way. Layers open up and you can easily get lost in the music. I flip between a simple EQ that makes them a bit more Harman like and also the stock sound depending on what I'm listening to. I got them used, and at £45 they were an utter steal. At full price they would still be worth it. I have tons of other headphones and buds, and the only thing that comes close are the edifier stax spirit s10, or the edifier neobuds plus. OK they are not going to beat my hifiman edition xs for sound, but as an IEM alternative they fit the bill.
