I listen to a lot of metal and rock music so it has a great crunchy sound that works well with guitars. I'm not great with describing things but it sounds like listening to music through an older Amp. It's warm, and has some nice slam to it.
It's definitely underrated for a single dd imo and I have kilobuck iems.
I have the Turris, without EQ they're a bit shit, with it they're much much better. Decent bass extension smooth punchy sound and because a single driver very good phase alignment across the full siectrum so good spatial cues for an iem.
Bear in mind my ears stop working at 13khz so younger users might find them lacking in upper treble.
I prefer my daybreaks because they don't need EQ.
Hi there fellow Belgian. From all the above you mensioned, i have the HBB Punch. Its not neutral at all but its a "Fun" set. It lacks mids and i mainly use this set for Trance & Techno Music. (Also do like Rock and other instrumental music) I've also have : Punch Audio Martilo, Myer Audio CKLVX CK2V, Juzear 61t Butterfly, and the Hidisz Turres MK12. I'm mainly a Basshead but from having so much bass in the Punch and Martilo, i got curious to other IEM's. I wouldn't mind getting more expensive ones too, but its a pitty i can't try them beforehand, as i don't know any shops in Belgium to try them out. So so far didn't take the plunge into more expensive ones. The punch was my first IEM and was able to get it from linsoul for 290€ (Didn't have to pay extra taxes) . The Martilo i found 2nd hand for 240€ on marktplaats. I've been looking at the Mega7 aswell, but will have to wait a bit. Recently got a Fiio M21 DAP and the Hidizs MK12 Iems. The Hidizs MK12 Is a surprise and is ranked inbetween 700$ Iem's . Perhaps have a look at these aswell and save some €€€ to spend on others.
The Punch & Martilo are very big IEMs and i have 2 friends wich are not able to fit them in their ears. FYI I use the Divinus Velvet Small eartips on the Punch and Martilo.
My first impressions of the Punch: It feels like i'm standing close to a stage at Tomorrowland (wich i attended alot of times), Deep rumbeling bass, just like i'm there , exept without the feeling in my stomach from the air moving around out of the speakers. But its not my go to iem for music like the Foo fighters. For instrumental music, i like details and the Punch doesn't really have that sparkle. I'm glad i tried different IEM's so i can mix up or pick and chose regarding to the music i want to listen at that moment.
My plan was only buying 1 IEM and not looking back. But afterwards i got curious into others, glad i didn't spend my whole budget on 1 IEM. And more expensive doesn't always mean better. Like now, on black friday i bought the Hidizs MK12 turris, and now going back and forth with the Punch. And i have to say this Hidizs is something else, costed me around 135€ and for trance i would prefer this over the Punch. It has a more neutral sound with some bass boost. (Also check ducbloke is video about these (the first video, as he did a collab later-on)
Looking back i think its more fun to be able to swap between cheaper IEM's vs having only one for all your music tastes. But the Punch is a nice looking IEM, like jewlery. Definitly an eyecatcher.

I listen mostly to techno and trance, but also do like some drum'n'bass every now and then. I do like some good bass rumble. I have the martilo and kiwi punch. I also can recommend the hidizs MK12 with red tips,these have better mids for more melodic music with also good punchy bass. If you don't mind alot of details in the highs with also some good bass, have a look at the Cklvx Ck2v.
Another one good all rounder for electronic music styles is the juzear 61t.
From all above I prefer the Kiwi hbb punch, if I want deep sub bass with smooth mids and highs.
For a proper Dac, get the Onix Alpha xl1, and if you want a very powerfull cheap one, the venture electronics devastator is my preferred simple wired dac. They power all the above iem's without compromise.
I own the mk12 turris, bass is pretty good, soundstage is very wide like very wide. Vocals are foward but it has a treble roll off so there’s a lack of air or sparkle.
Instrumental separation is fine but not great, things seem to fall apart when there’s too many instruments at the same time especially In rock songs. I tried the tuning nozzles but I didn’t really prefer either one except for the stock one. I’d easily take the Simgot super mix 4 over these
MK12 red nozzle with some EQ is the best bang for buck iem there is. It competes with 500+ buck setsbut the fit is horrible for a lot of people including myself. Had to tiproll a lot
I'm a big soundstage guy- If you can possibly find a used ISN H60, that has the biggest soundstage in any IEM I've tried, it's a killer IEM.
In your budget - Hidisz mp145 or mk12 surprisingly.
As you're new, it's hard not to fall for IEM marketing hype cycles.
Every month, there's a new "best ever" IEM. Tons of reviews come out saying this *is* it. Then it arrives.
"Is that it?"- That was my first reaction to the Martilo. It's great, but it was nowhere near as bassy as everyone said.
Months later, I still want more punchy bass. I stumble one I'd never heard of, released months ago with barely any hype- the TSMR Armor. It's got nowhere near the same marketing budget but the few reviews I find compared it to the Martilo and said it's punchier, a more impactful bass. I take a punt.
It arrives. No hype. I'm not expecting much.... IT IS AWESOME.
The lesson: If this is a big purchase for you, wait a while before buying. Nobody has heard the Portazo yet. It might be amazing. It might be crap. But the real verdict is if people are still talking about it after 2 months.
Final final point- I listen to DnB quite a lot. Weirdly, I enjoy it most on *not* total Basshead IEMs. For example the Hidisz mk12- is an absolute DnB beast, it's so fun and punchy and energetic. On paper, the Martilo should work best with DnB, it has tons of sub-bass, but it feels a bit dry and dull in comparison.

Imo, there's too many, and too similar. The most unique choice is the Diablo... To the delicate ears of our favourite Singaporean IEM God that might be a lot of bass, but there's more bass out there.
The others kinda just blend together... If your goal is to experience every kind of sound and weird driver combination there is, go much further.
Buy an all BA set. Buy a bass head set. Buy a tribrid. Buy a KZ Decet with 5 DDs squeezed in each side. Buy a bone conduction set- "subtle" options that boost the soundstage a bit, or "obvious vibration" sets like the Kiwi Ears Etude, Kbear03/02. Buy a treble head set. Buy something off Penon. Buy a desktop amp and see if that makes a difference or not to you.
For what it's worth, I really love the MK12, and I think the MP145 is a much better IEM than the Mp143 (which is fine but a bit boring)
If your goal is quality... You can afford a couple of AMAZING sets instead of 15 good ones.
Isn H60... I love the mk12, and the H60 has an even more fun engaging tuning- probably my favourite IEM.
Possibly the EBC80 if you have a lot to spend (I've not heard it but I've read it's the next level H60)
If you plan on this being your only IEM, and you can afford it, I'd recommend blowing out your budget even more and getting a TSMR Armor (I got it for $200 on sale) It really is an amazing IEM that has huge bass but also hits everything else you want. I recommend it a lot here, and I've had various messages and comments from people thanking me because they love it. Absolutely worth it as a one-and-done IEM.
If not, my two favourites in your range are both Hidisz - Mp145 and mk12. Both really blew me away and have a really fun addictive tuning that matches what you'relooking for. There's also a bright red Ducbloke edition of the mk12 that cranks the bass (I've not heard it)
QoA Adonis New is a bassy relaxed option, I don't think it's as technical as the others but more importantly it is purple and tiny so very easy to listen all day.
... anything is an upgrade haha.

My number 1 IEM: QoA Martini. I was lucky enough to borrow this. It's way more than I'd pay. Day 1... "This isn't worth the price at all" Funnily enough, this was as I was having my love affair with the H60, so I didn't listen to the Martini again for weeks! The next time I did "WTF. *This* is the best thing I've ever heard." It's very similar to the H60... Huuuge fun soulful, but with better clarity and resolution. Would I recommend it for its RRP? Probably not. I am not in that income range. The H60 is 90% there. But holy shit I love it. I asked the owner if he'd sell it, and got an insane deal. Suuuuuper lucky.

It's *REALLY* good. I was surprised because I basically had no interest in single DDs, but this thing completely changed my mind.
It's a really fun engaging sound, with really impressive soundstage and seperation (probably the best I've heard at this price). The higher up I go in the IEM world, it seems to be soundstage and seperation stand out most to me (currently the $600 QoA Martini and $800 Penon Archangel) so the mk12's soundstage really makes it impressive to me.
The ISN H60 is one of my absolute favourites, and the mK12 is very similar.
I'm currently borrowing the Ducbloke MK12, which has more bass. Unfortunately both were loaners so I've not heard the OG for months so can't compare, occasionally it gets bloated which I didn't think the OG did. Both are excellent

I got the Kunten for $5 and think it's a lot better than the standard $25 picks like the Wan'er, and various $25 KZ sets I've had (Vibe X, Duonic, AM16, Decet) are better than most $75 sets, and my $50 Artti T10 was just as good as my $150 Kiwi Ears Aether, and my $150 Hidisz mp145 and Mk12 are better than my $250 Punch Audio Martilo...
Each price has 3 types -
1- Value kings
2- The average good IEM (the majority)
3- Overpriced
And whether or not upgrading is worth it depends entirely on your bank balance!
Plus, there's weird jumps too. I'd say $200 competes very well up to $400, which would imply there's not much improvement beyond that.., yet my $800 set (Archangel) is a VERY big, obvious improvement and you are engulfed in sound.
YEAH! I loaned it from a friend, but wasn't expecting much because "it's just a single DD". I was SHOCKED! It's such a fun engaging addictive sound which is so unique at the price. It completely changed my mind about single DDs!
Upgrades- Do you have the OG or the Ducbloke one?
If it's the OG, the ISN H60 is a direct upgrade imo- no idea what graphs say, but if we're talking that incredibly engaging, fun, big soundstage sound the H60 is SPECIAL- Probably the most fun IEM I have heard!
If it's the Ducbloke one, ISN Sora. It gives up a bit of the H60 soundstage and insane fun, but it's probably the best bass I've heard (at least on par with my Archangel- possibly even better) It's big bass, but soooo clean and textured. The H60 gets compressed and low Res sometimes, whereas the Sora plays *everything* super clean. It's 85% of an Archangel.
