Of all the IEMs I have, for some reason, the one I like the most is the Aful Explorer. I also have the Kefine Klean, Kefine Delci Ae, Sivga Que, Kiwi Ears Airoso, Lesthouer S08, Simgot EW300, Hidizs MP143, and MP145. All of these IEMs have a somewhat neutral, warm signature, but they all have excellent, very different sounds. I recommend the Aful Explorer, it's the best without a doubt. I won't tell you about the Hidizs MP145 because they're too big and can have adjustment problems if you have a narrow ear canal. Another thing I recommend is that you play with different types of cables and eartips, they can make a difference.
r/iems • Upgrade or something different from my Kefine Klean: Aful Explorer vs Letshuoer S08 ->Haha!!! I had this issue literally 5 minutes ago. It took me a minute, but once I saw the filters in there, I knew it had to open some legitimate way. It's crazy tight, so I was being really cautious and having no luck. It finally loosened up and I knew I wasn't breaking it. 10 minutes into the 143s and I'm pretty happy. Happy listening!
r/iems • Hidizs MP143 "Salt" Review ->I owned both and in the end I found the SM4 to be slightly more pleasing and more comfortable. Although it was very close. I would consider the mp143 over the mp145 as its not as bulky version of the mp145. They also come with tuning nozzles so you can adjust the sound based on your preference. SM4 has no nozzles.
r/iems • MP145 or Supermix 4??? ->hey, sorry to post on an old thread, but i just got my mp143s through their st2 kickstarter and i can't for the life of me figure out how to open the filter box. any advice? i tried prying it open with my fingers but it's so freaking tight - can't figure out if i'm supposed to break the actual box or something
r/iems • Hidizs MP143 "Salt" Review ->and it truly was that simply all along... tysm for that!! the rose gold is a touch sibilant for my ears and i was really hoping to try out the red filter, and now i will! thanks to you :oD
r/iems • Hidizs MP143 "Salt" Review ->I have the OG Letshuoer S12 and also the MP143. They have a very similar sound signature. I think perhaps a tad more bass with the MP143. I think the S12 is a tad more comfortable to wear. Andy (the Dongle king) seems to like the Letshuoer S12 2024 limited a lot. He also liked the MP145 and this year named the MP143 the successor to the 145 in the under $100 category. Never owned a Tinhifi but they have a good reputation.
r/iems • Hidizs MP143 "Salt" Review ->So I have owned the s12, currently own MP145 & MP143, S12 is super duper bright and might be confused for being overly technical but I found it can be overly fatiguing and the bass response does not even compare. Meanwhile mP145, you can get it much bassier on the red nozzle but the quality of the bass is not quite as weighty and objectively can't compete as the Tri uses a Dynamic driver for the bass despite measuring bass light and the treble on 145 can come across metallic and tinny whereas it's super smooth on the Tri i3 MK3, MP143 on the other hand is the closest in terms of cohesiveness with solid bass response, not as fatiguing upper treble as 145 and quite solid, and the nozzle options are solid too. I would say the Tri i3 takes the cake with treble and overall tonality, amazing accessories and tips but the mp143 does offer 3 different sound profiles with the nozzle system despite having worse accessories.
r/inearfidelity • Best IEM under $200 with better technicality ->EW300 FiiO JH5 Hidizs MP143……I think that’s under or around $100……..
r/iems • iem recommendation under 100usd ->I have one on hand for review but early impressions are not very favorable. The Letshuoer S12 2024 is much more engaging and I might even prefer the Hidizs MP143 to the Aether as well, but I'll need to do more testing. So far I'm not seeing what all the hype is about 🤷♂️
