Those I own or have owned: Tangzu Nezha, Tangzu Tianpeng, IO Sogno, QoA Aviation, Hisenior Cano Cristales, Intuaura Plume, Leteciel Magiris, Reecho Spring 2, Moondrop Starfield 2, Tangzu Yu Xuan Ji (both standard & Year of Snake editions), Kiwi Ears Forteza, Celest Wyvern (Abyss and Remaster), Vzonis VD-01. Those I don't own but have seen in person: Artpical Michael, Palavox Akasha, Forte Ears Mephisto, Nostalgia Audio Durandal, Thieaudio Prestige LTD, Xenns Top Pro, Elysian Pilgrim, Moondrop Psyche, Kinera Imperial Verdandi. Those I have only seen online photos of: SeeAudio Bravery 24, Rossi&Wing LUA series (all 3 of them), Aful Cantor (Starry Night ver), Kinera Nott, Ice Lab Spectrumica, Leteciel Encore, Tangzu Xuanwu Gate, probably missing quite a few that I can't recall right now.
$400 budget for EACH: Softears Volume S: Fantastic meta-tuned all-arounder hybrid. $329. Hisenior Cano Cristales: Excellent bass tone and texture without it killing the mids. $399. Kiwi Ears Aether: Best planar under $200. $169. Penon Fan 3: Everyone needs some of that bone conduction special sauce and smooth Penon mids. $349. $400 budget TOTAL: AFUL Explorer: Great mid-bass and mids. Not enough treble extension but a killer chill listen. $99. Artti T10: Best IEM Iβve heard at sub-$100, regardless of driver type. $51. AFUL MagicOne: A single-BA with bass! Yes, itβs possible. Sublime mids. Treble can be a bit metallic. $89. DITA Prelude: Insanely good budget single DD that punches well above its price. Comes with a cool dongle, too. $159.
Hisenior cano cristales is one of the best but apparently very few tested it Mangird top pro Martilo punch audio
I own it and it's a great set I can't complain.
The ITO is pretty solid for a bassy set. The HiSenior Cano Cristales is another great set. The Martilo is good, but IMO the Cano is better.
I'd wager that the Cano Cristales is up your alley. I wrote up a review for it with a comparison to the Martilo. I didn't use the phrase "mid-bass" specifically, but the Martilo does have a more emphasized mid-bass relative to its sub-bass. https://resonancereviews.com/hisenior-cano-cristales-review-refreshingly-refined-eaf85f77aef0
Head-Fi has its share of problems, as does Reddit, X, etc. I tried the Rockies at CanJam SoCal and had no idea what the hype was about. Same with Top Pro. I much prefer the Melody Wings Venus, Luna, Cano Cristales, etc.
