"Super comfortable resin shell, has shorter nozzle so no discomfort with insertion for me, YMMV. ... Just prefer the tuning & fit/design of the InAwaken, it can be used all day with no problems physically or musically. ... I can’t speak for you but had zero comfort issues (my ears are small/medium in width). The inner shell is very smooth with no bumpy nodules. Has the best fit of my x4 current iem’s."
"The fit is incredible, light, shorter nozzle, so sits great in-ear/canal area isn irritated. ... Can wear all day with zero fatigue."
"Hours and hours of usage everyday and no headaches, no sweat ... I prefer using IE-300 for longer sessions out of them all."

"bass is the best part with really good attack and extension."
"I got lucky with the Inawaken Dawn, the tuning and sound is perfect. ... Haven had to EQ anything. ... Warm leaning but bright & airy too. ... The sub & mid bass is incredible & smooth, punchy where needed, never bleeds/bloats. ... Vocals are balanced, never shrill or forward. ... Works for a variety of genres too. ... Inawaken have something magical about them, very addictive listen."
"better timbre, overall warmth and better sub bass and m/f vocals ... more enjoyable and smooth set but retaining brightness without fatigue ... Clarity and overall tuning is really well done. ... Love the tuning on my InAwaken, bass is non fatiguing & vocals pop. Treble isn’t peaky but still maintains great clarity throughout."

"Honestly, I think the Klean & Inawaken are the best $50 iems around for the sound preference."
"in my opinion they are better than a few more expensive ones in that sound signature, like the Letshuoer D13 and even the Kinera Celest Phoenixcall."
"better separation, layering, imaging & soundstage ... Seriously underrated IEM and a great price/performance. ... I have more expensive and “better”technical sets (£200/300/400) but still listen to these daily."

"I gived away my Inawaken Dawn to my brother because I didn't like the fit. They just don't stay in place."

"If you plan on wearing these outside a lot in direct sun, i would go with the Klean, as the Dawn being full resin, can, with time, have some yellowing, or crazing issues. ... As all fully resin IEM's can, when being exposed to the suns UV rays. ... I try to keep all my resin IEM's as indoor only sets for that reason."

"useless tips, tho."
"Tips need changing though (minor issue)."
I got the Inawaken Dawn MS for $60 CAD ($43 USD) Seemed pretty good to me.
r/iems • Prime Day ->For sure! I gived away my Inawaken Dawn to my brother because I didn't like the fit. They just don't stay in place. I enjoyed gaming/everyday use with the PULA much more than the Inawaken Dawn.
r/iems • PULA Unicrom (average guy in the hobby review) ->KiwiEars Airoso. Get it while its still under $100. >Truthhear Gate, Tanchjim Bunny, and KZ Klean for a blind buy or the Truthhear Hexa, Truthhear Nova and Letshouer 12 Pro (but my friend said the 12 Pro has weird bass) Gate = No. Plastic shell resonates. Feels like garbage. People that love the gate, i question all of their listening tastes. Bunny = Fantastic. Probably one of the best $20 IEM's available. The USB DSP and app make it more fun. KZ Klean = Uh... Kefine Klean, maybe? Kefine Klean is a great choice at $50. But i think the Inawaken Dawn is better. Hexa = Good, but very dull to someone who is new to the hobby, and used to V shaped tunings (i.e. boosted bass and treble, Hexa is very flat) Nova = Tuned to the popular Harmon Curve. Which is very V shaped. THe Simgot SuperMix4 is a common alternative. S12 Pro = Planar. Fantastic IEM. BUT...and this is probably why your buddy said ti had "weird bass", it will require you to use a higher powered Dongle DAC/Amp, because Planars need a lot of power to push around. If you underpower them, they sound muddy, thuddy, and dead. With enough power, they have amazing tactility and speed. But they do suffer from a somewhat metalic timbre that can be off putting to some people, as they are not "natural" sounding. But very fun. Overall, like i said, i think the KiwiEars Airoso is your best bet. It is a hybrid IEM that plays very clean, provides tons of detail, and bass when you need it. And seems to play about every genre of music you throw at it, without feeling like its lacking. Its not a neutral tuning, but it plays naturally. If that makes sense?
r/iems • [IEM Recommendation] ~$100 Budget | Hard Rock, Jazz, 80s, J-Pop (Old & Modern), Lo-fi ->Personally, i feel the best of the three is the InAwaken Dawn. It just has a special quality about it that i find very engaging, and really enjoy. You and i listen to very simialr music, so take that as you will. Plus they look gorgeous, and come with a great accessory pack of quality tips, a good cable, and a fantastic carrying case. The Klean is also a good set. However, the tuning nozzles on it are, IMHO, a bit gimmicky. The alternative Black Nozzle is a little too bright and glaring. And, myself, and others, have experienced some QC issues with the filters. My Black Filters have one side that is quieter than the other. Some people have had that issue with the stock silver filters too. So, be aware that this may be a problem on your set also. The accessories pack on the Klean isnt anything to get excited about. Tips are sufficient, and the cable is functional, and the carrying case is decent enough. Now, i will say, that i do have some bias with the Klean. The Kefine Delci AE is one of my favorite sub $100 single DD sets. And the alternative nozzle on the Delci AE sounds amazing. And it really brightens up the tonality of what is a predominantly warm set. The Klean, on the other hand, is a little brighter on treble extension than the Delci past 10k on the stock tuning, while having very similar overall tunings. So the Klean gives at lot of the same energy i like from the Delci AE, but it gets to be a little too much with the alternative nozzles. So, this is where my personal head bias comes into play, because i am intimately familiar with the Delci AE's sound, and i find the Klean to be a little lacking in technicalities to the Delci AE, while also sounding too similar. Which is why i keep coming back to the Dawn more, because it has a different tonality to its flavor. Basically, because i have the Delci AE, the Klean becomes the orphaned step child of the two. Now, one area where the Klean will excel over the Dawn is durability. If you plan on wearing these outside a lot in direct sun, i would go with the Klean, as the Dawn being full resin, can, with time, have some yellowing, or crazing issues. As all fully resin IEM's can, when being exposed to the suns UV rays. I try to keep all my resin IEM's as indoor only sets for that reason. The Cadenza is a good little single DD set. But i dont think it is as good as the Dawn or the Klean. If you really want to have the Cadenza sound...just pick up the KBear KB01. Exact same driver and tuning made in the exact same assembly facility as the Cadenza, and its like $10 cheaper.
r/iems • Which one to choose ?? ->At $50 there really isn't much point looming beyond the Kefine Klean, and the InAwaken Dawn. They both offer great value. My personal preference is the Dawn. I prefer the reain shell, and design aesthetics, and I think it comes with a better accessory pack of tips and storage case.
r/iems • What are the best iems for under $50 AUD? ->InAwaken Dawn Ms or Kefine Klean. I prefer the Dawn. The Artti T0 is also solid, but I find it super uncomfortable, as I said above. There are also some outliers in the sub $60 category. Like the Ziigaat Cinno, which is usually 50% off at <$50. The KiwiEars Singolo is also a good set. But it needs different tips, and it needs a different cable. The stock tips and cable are literally EWaste. Total junk. If you have an extra cable, great, extea tips, your golden. But if you have to buy either, it kills the price proposition. And the Dawn is a little brighter, and better accessorized. (Both are based off the same shell) The TRN Shell is also really solid with an amazing accessories package. Unbeatable value. If you are curious in a hybrid with EW300 like tuning, without the EW300 ear mode issues.
r/iems • Simgot ew300 vs Kiwi ears cadenza, which is better to enjoy music? ->These are some that caught my attention when I researched before getting my first set in this price range. TBH the budget space is so crowded that it's really hard to pick. I feel like as long as it doesn't have overly negative reviews, and physically fit your ear great, you'll be ok. Hell, some people are even happier with some more budget sets in the $20 range. My top picks based on build are - Moondrop Lan - Kefine Klean (I own and love) or maybe spend a bit more for - Kefine Delci for the metal build and smaller body overall. If you want something prettier with a resin build (a bit lighter) - Kiwi Ears Cadenza (cheapest in this short list) - Truthear Red or - Truthear Blue 2 (also popular, but some complain about it being big) I think these are still pretty balanced, only a bit warm leaning - Inawaken Dawn MS (but looks to be leaning warmer, slightly V-shaped than neutral, which is not bad since neutral can be boring sometimes) I think the Truthears were popular for their technicals and great for EQ (tining), in which you said you don't need, though. least bass to most bass is probably Lan < Reds < Cadenza < Kefines < Blue 2 < Inawaken Dawn MS again, all still pretty balanced, the ones that are more on the right just have a bit more bass presence If you can spend a bit more, a very popular pick is the Truthear Hexa. More neutral and brighter (less bass) than the others listed. Or maybe the ew300 which looks pretty neutral but not as bright as the hexa.
r/iems • Best under $60 Balanced IEM? [No custom tuning] ->Kefine Klean or Inawaken Dawn Ms r good to my ears in this price range.
r/iems • Which one should I get for gaming? Also do I need a DAC? ->Both Kefine Klean and Inawaken Dawn Ms r very good to my ears. I didnt like Vivace...thin sounding. Fudu Verse 1 is also quite good. The only con on the Klean is it is quite heavy.
r/iems • KEFINE Klean: A Budget Audiophile Gem That Defies Expectations! ->Truthear Pure, Inawaken Dawn Ms, Kefine Klean. I had to change the stock cable to EW300 DSP for my sound preference. Stock cable's sound was too congested for my taste.
r/iems • Top IEMs Below $100 ->My top picks based on construction are: Moondrop Lan Kefine Klean or maybe spend a little more for Kefine Delci for the metal construction and smaller body overall. If you want something nicer with a resin build (a little lighter): Kiwi Ears Cadenza (the cheapest in this short list) Truthear Red or Truthear Blue 2 (also popular, but some complain it's big) I think these are still pretty balanced, just a little warmer Inawaken Dawn MS (but seems to be warmer, slightly V-shaped than neutral, which isn't bad as neutral can be boring at times) I think the Truthears were popular for their specs and great for EQ (tuning), even though you said you don't need it. From lowest to lowest it's probably: Lan < Reds < Cadenza < Kefines < Blue 2 < Inawaken Dawn MS again, all pretty balanced, the ones further to the right just have a little more bass presence If you can spend a little more, a popular choice is the Truthear Hexa. More neutral and bright (less bass) than the others listed. Or maybe the ew300 which seems quite neutral but not as bright as the Hexa.
r/iems • Best IEMs under 50$ ->My top picks based on construction are: Moondrop Lan Kefine Klean or maybe spend a little more for Kefine Delci for the metal construction and smaller body overall. r/iems • Best IEMs under 50$ ->The Bunny is my default recommendation for IEMs in this price range. I'd go for it. If you want an IEM a little higher up the range, I highly recommend the InAwaken Dawn Ms.
r/iems • Trying to get my first iem out of these picks (bunny, cca phoenix, wan'er 2) recommendations? I also explain my needs below. ->I've never used Kefine Klean or 7hz Sonus, but I know I'm LOVING Dawn Ms.
r/iems • Trying to get my first iem out of these picks (bunny, cca phoenix, wan'er 2) recommendations? I also explain my needs below. ->I was specifically looking to see if anyone had already mentioned the InAwaken Dawn Ms. It's my current IEM as well, and I couldn't be happier with the results I got with it using a bit of EQ.
r/iems • Recommendation for IEM's under 50$ ->I think the information about the InAwaken isn't quite accurate. It's far from being "bright leaning" and is one of the IEMs with the most sub-bass. The Zero 2 is definitely more bass-oriented, but InAwaken has enough bass to deliver a great rumble.
r/iems • Recommendation for IEM's under 50$ ->inawaken dawn ms? it's alright, still not as good as Klean or Sonus, it also has very similar slightly worse tuning than Klean, if there was no Klean and there was only Sonus for that price I could recommend it as it's more mainsteam tuning than Sonus, but with Klean around for same $50 msrp as dawn ms and available on sale for $30-35 I can't recommend dawn ms https://preview.redd.it/6mse0qwolayf1.png?width=1425&format=png&auto=webp&s=e4f9649b928f49652af1b769bd9bee6157bc25a3 I'm not saying it's bad but Klean and Sonus are exceptionally good IEMs for the price, Sonus was $60-62(depending on cable) msrp but goes for $35-40 these days
r/iems • Trying to get my first iem out of these picks (bunny, cca phoenix, wan'er 2) recommendations? I also explain my needs below. ->Hello mate, in fact i also got the Inawaken Dawn-Ms, in comparison the Klean got a better note weight and impact overall than the Dawn ms .
r/iems • KEFINE Klean: A Budget Audiophile Gem That Defies Expectations! ->Thanks for the advice! I've actually purchased the Inawaken Dawn Ms and also received it. And yeah they are really easy to drive, I used them at around 20% volume and still sounds loud enough. I've actually watch that video too. It even encouraged me to tip roll. And I agree, well fitted eartips really makes a difference. Because Inawaken had quite a short nozzle, I had to go up a size and try a shallow fit for it to seal well. Once sealed well, it just sounds much better overall.
