I really didn't know anything about this brand. While doing some research, I found Penon Audio, and therefore Isn Audio and Leteciel. They're not very well-known in the US market, and there aren't many reviews. They arrived from Hong Kong today, and it was a big surprise how well-made and tuned this Isn H20 IEM is. I didn't think that for $70 I'd find such good, quality bass and a very pleasant frequency extension in general. Can someone who has the Leteciel Shark tell me what the audio signature is like and if they're worth it? If it's a good option at $109? I love the Isn H20. I'd really like some Penons, but they're very expensive. Any recommendations, please.

I have the ISN H20 and they're wonderful, better than many more expensive IEMs. My absolute favorite is the Aful Explorer, followed by the ISN H20, above the Lesthouer S08, Hidiz MP145 and MP143, Kefine Delci AE, etc.

The best IEMs in terms of quality and price, with a warm, neutral sound with wonderful bass, organic, musical mids, and smooth highs with an analog timbre!

The audio is evocative; it's all a matter of personal taste. I have the ISN H20 and I really like it compared to other IEMs under $100. I like the warm audio signature with deep, punchy bass, organic and musical mids, and smooth, extended highs. It's all a matter of taste.😵‍💫👀

It really hasn't surprised me like the others I have, although I like the audio signature and the musical interpretation I feel like something is missing and I don't know what it is. Maybe I should wait a longer number of hours of break-in for the drivers to settle. Another thing that catches my attention is that it needs power to work better, I have a fiio jm21 dac and I have to turn up the volume to 85 decivels so they can breathe properly, the standard cable by far was the one that best helped to open up the sound, I tried several cables and always went back to the standard cable, luckily it's a good cable as well as beautiful, I think Penonaudio manufactured the cable with the Penon Quattro in mind. I'm asking you what eartips I can use to improve the dynamics. I'm using the Tangzu Sincai Valanced. Overall, I hope it improves as the drivers burn in. I really like it, since I'm looking for that underground chi-fi sound from Penonaudio. Buying from Penon is a guarantee of quality. What can you suggest to improve the performance of the Penon Quattro?👍

I don’t have much experience with IEMs, but I listen almost exclusively to metal. My first pair was the KZ PRX, which sounded really good to me after heavy bass boost and a cut at 8kHz with parametric EQ — fast bass, good separation, high resolution — but without EQ they were weak for metal. Later I picked up the ISN H20 on sale, and I was worried they might be too bassy for metal. Nope. They handle everything really well, very enjoyable sound. The bass isn’t as fast as on the PRX, but in my opinion it has more detail, air, and a more natural impact. On top of that, the ISN H20 (at least for me) doesn’t need any EQ at all and sounds good from any source. I can recommend both pairs, but if you don’t want to mess around with EQ and don’t mind a warmer tuning, check out the H20.

Thans for the impressions. Just what I needed.  I ordered the Kiwi Étude and the ddHiFi E14D Surface but was having doubts. Wanted to return those (without listening to any of them) in favor of the top pro. I am glad I didn’t. Especially the shouty mids remark was a red flag for me. Also I am treble sensitive and like elevated bass. As far as I can conclude these are not for me. Please correct me if I am wrong 🙂 I know there is a big price gap between these three but since I received the ISN audio H20 two weeks ago I came to the conclusion that price doesn’t say crap as the H20 (69,95) outperforms some of my 300+ IEM’s like the Tansio Feat, Kiwi Punch, Deuce, Knoble Knight and Doscinco to name a few.

Owned them. The Kbear Cepheus destroys them. Better yet, the ISN H20 also does for even less money. But they are decent though.

I just got some ISN H20’s that I like. If I can catch them on sale again, I might be in for a second pair. I like the qkz x hbb too.

ISN Audio H20 $69 pretty good to be honest, bass is comparable to Martilo but only in that department, every other part is kinda muffled a little, and you wont get incredible detail, but it is pretty good for the price, i use a pair as my gym iem i can risk damaging by sweat and i enjoy it a lot, case is good, cable is pretty good and also good tips, you wont find much info on them becouse it is not on the Linsolu-Shenzhen monopoly, and Penon-ISN dont gift their IEMs like pamphlets as the other companies do. https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/isn-h20.28054/reviews

I'm just saying, that's probably why it's ignored. And for your information \*ahem\* I have only one waifu box set in my wall of chi-fi. Get a set of ISN H20s and call it a day. There.

No prob. I own some wild sets but they are my top recommendation for that price bracket. Upgrading from there will mainly only get you more fidelity/resolution. But they are so good you may not care.

I am. And you should! I could swear ISN is trying to shoot themselves in the foot sometimes. I got them because of a deal, put down my H60s etc., to try and didn't touch anything else for a week+. They are that good.

I hope you like them. I think they have such fun tuning and punch way outside their weight class. Penon/ISN don't really give out review units and are low-volume, so that's probably why they're so under the radar. I didn't know about them either until someone here opened my eyes.

I have them. They are definitely strong on the bass side, especially sub-bass. One of my go-to sets for EDM and hiphop regardless of price.

Storytime... For me, it started when my bluetooth speakers died this year. I did some research because I wanted something that sounded somewhat good and didn't have too much ugly bass. Bought Edifier MR4's. I was incredibly surprised with what I got for the 90 euros I paid for it. But they were wired and when I clean around the house, I like to use my phone to switch songs. So, I thought (although members of another subreddit advised me against it and that there was no gain to be had), what the hell, I'm curious --- I'll just buy a cheap DAC with USB-C & bluetooth and I'm completely set. I bought SMSL-SU1. Another surprise, I could hear that the MR4's sounded less muddy with that DAC (USB-C setup), everything was more clear. Even the bass was more accurate. Sorry, I'm not up to par with the "lingo" yet. I just expected the DAC to be more convenient in my USB-C/bluetooth setup. Then, I thought, ugh, I hate it when my ears overheat with my over-ear headphones. Last time I bought earphones, they quickly disappeared in my drawer. I tend to push the buttons everytime I put them in, very frustrating. Research again and I arrived at iems. I have 4 pairs now that each cost me less than 50 euros. These will last me a long while. Each have a different sound which can highlights certain music genres. That is what makes it hard, I listen to a little bit of everything. For example; the ISN H20 sounds heavenly with Nick Cave's voice. It can really make deep male voices shine. Very good for cello, bass guitar, anything with deep low frequency sounds. Dance music also benefits heavily from that rumble and bass. Female voices are a no-no with this iem, for that, I'd have to wip out my Tangzu Wan'er SG2 Jade Dragon. I still have to learn how to PEQ. That way, I can correct a lack of bass or too much treble a little bit. These iems are perfect for that. I also have a phone DAC, ONIX Alpha XI1 (at an amazingly good discounted price, love AliE) which gives just that little bit extra to these budget iems. Also, there is a degree to what you can hear. My teens and twenties with headphones stuck to my ears did do a little damage, I'm sure. I'm 43 and hear differences in quality and sounds and I can safely say wired audio has the capacity to sound better. It does depend on the quality (not necessarily the price) of what you bought, what your ears prefer and what your ears can actually hear. Also, there is the option of tuning. I've been in this subreddit only for a couple of months and even I am getting tired already of people saying that everyone is riding the hype train. It's just annoying that you feel the need to write a post about it. Fine, you don't hear a difference, you're the dummy for buying more. Not all of us are hearing ghosts sounds because of the money we spent. There are so many different products of every kind on the market with advertising all around. I don't buy too many stuff and if I do, I do the research. Then, I buy within my budget. For example, I don't quit my smartphone until it quits on me. You are easily misled by consumerism.
