I bought the 7Hz G1 on January 6. Still waiting for it to arrive 🤷♂️ Customs taking too long. Also got the Kefine Delci to try something more musical.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • 7Hz G1 or TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace for gaming? ->They got released from customs, now on their way to me. Fresh Reviews said today in a post that these are definitely not for Apex and the Kefine Klean are better, glad I bought a pair of Kefine Delci's. Will see how they perform when I get them. Sound is too subjective so maybe these are good for me.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • 7Hz G1 or TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace for gaming? ->I have tried both the delci and ew300 (hbb edition if that counts) and now owns the delci. If you want bass, i would go for the ew300. Delci does have bass, but more subbass boom, so it kinda just stays low (position). If my memory serves me right, ew300 has more bass quantity like the whole region. And one more substantial point, i find the delci better in term of soundstage. Otherwise everything else is just ok, delci mid is slightly sharp which is more fitting for female vocal. I dont think you are going wrong with any but for me, the main selling point is soundstage, hence i choose the delci.
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Personally, i find the delci less harsh than the ew300, so delci is better for long term usage. If you can, you should try it before hand
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Just something i want to add. I have had both the delci and ew300. The ew300 is even more balanced than the delci, especially at the vocal and treble. But the delci has wider soundstage. In general, the delci is more v shape than ew300 but it offers more soundstage. Well delci soundstage is wide and the separation is good but ye it doesnt have sense of depth, even compared to close back headphones. But i bought the delci for about 45 bucks, cant complain for such price. Though mine has weird pressure buildup that decrease the volume after use. Its not like the driver is broken or anything, if i use delci with no tips, it works flawlessly. I have no idea why.
r/iems • Switched from KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition to Kefine Delci – Just My Review on These Iems ->I have tried switching tips, all of the tips that was offered in the box. None really works. And the thing is that only the left side has such problem. Ofc i can just like blow air into the vents, and it would fix the issue but then, why doesnt the right side have such problem. And i have good seal too. Maybe the left ear seal is too tight? I have tried smaller tips too, but its still tight. I guess the nozzle is too big or i should buy different tips?
r/iems • Switched from KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition to Kefine Delci – Just My Review on These Iems ->I totally agree. The drivers are amazing in terms of their ability to deliver really good technical performance and details throughout the entire frequency response. The EW200 was too bright for me in the upper midrange and the treble. I fixed that by adding additional tuning mesh filters in order to get the overall tuning pretty close to my preferred HBB tuning target when used with Final Type E eartips. Regardless of whether or not I modded the EW200 to adjust the tuning in the upper midrange and treble, I haven't found an IEM below the EW200's price which can touch the EW200 in terms of the quality and resolution for the bass. The only single DD IEM which matches my modded EW200 is the Kefine Delci which is more expensive. The Delci's overall sound signature totally floats my boat.
r/iems • Are there any better IEMs than simgot EW200 under 50$ in terms of resolution, clarity and detailing with punchy and textured bass. ->At under $50, the Kiwi Ears Cadenza is tuned very similar to the Zero 2. The more expensive Kefine Delci is tuned differently in the upper midrange where the Delci is brighter in the 4 kHz to 8 kHz region.
r/inearfidelity • Recommend me IEMs like Salnotes Zero 2 ->This is a long-winded reply because I sincerely would like to help. You can not continue to have ringing in your ears after every performance since you do not want to eventually develop tinnitus and/or permanent hearing loss. I think that you want a set of IEMs which sounds very balanced in terms of the amount of bass, lower midrange, upper midrange, and treble so that you can hear how your own vocals sound relative to the rest of the mix. In other words, the entire frequency response should sound balanced so that you can hear exactly how loud your vocals sound in the overall mix. I assume that you have smaller ears since you are female, so obviously you will want a set of IEMs which are very comfortable to wear. If you want to stay under $100, check out this post by a drummer in which I recommended the Kefine Delci: https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1d9r5hm/mackie_mp320_issue/ The Delci is a fairly small IEM which fits very comfortably in my smaller ears. If you want an IEM which does vocals really well and which sounds natural and balanced throughout the entire frequency response, especially if you have smaller ear canals, then I suggest the Performer 5 which currently still is my favorite IEM in the $200 to $300 price range. The Performer 5's shells are fairly small and very comfortable. The diameter of the nozzles is also smaller than average with a diameter of 5.8 mm. With the right eartips, the Performer 5 IEMs literally float into my smaller ears when I insert them, and are just as easy to remove whenever I want to take a break. Before you purchase either the Delci or the Performer 5, I think that it would be wise to purchase the very affordable 7Hz x Crinacle Zero 2 for test purposes. I will explain further below, yet here is an Amazon link for the Zero 2: https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-7Hz-Crinacle-Zero-Earphones/dp/B0CMZVZPCF?th=1 There are a couple of reasons why I initially suggest purchasing the Zero 2: -- The Zero 2 is very inexpensive at only $25. -- The Zero 2's overall tuning is very similar to either the Kefine Delci or the Performer 5 in the sense of being very much in the same ballpark. It is important for you to see if the overall sound signature floats your boat for your needs. If the Zero 2's overall sound signature does not float your boat, then this is important to know, especially in terms of what areas of the overall sound signature which have issues with. -- It is important to know which size of included eartips fit the best for you, so that either I or others can suggest other eartips with the correct size which pair well with the Delci or Performer 5, or with other IEMs which others might recommend to you. -- To see if the Zero 2 either might be good enough for your needs, or if the Zero 2 might be a good enough pair of backup IEMs to use if your primary pair of IEMs fails during a performance. Finally, there is the big question in terms of the mixed audio which will be fed into your IEMs. If the overall audio mix is flawed and since your band probably is not likely to change their methods, then you might need to additionally use an intermediate device such as the Quedelix-5K or similar devices which feature programmable parametric EQ in order to make your IEMs compatible with however your band routinely mixes the band's overall sound. Anyway, all of the above are merely some thoughts and suggestions for what they are worth.
r/iems • Female Vocalist needing IEM advice ->The MP-320 is overhyped junk. Here is the frequency response graph versus my preferred tuning target: https://vsg.squig.link/?share=HBB_Target,Mackie_MP-320 As you can see in the above, the upper midrange and the treble regions have very strong peaks which will cause extreme sibilance issues and strong listening fatigue. Even KZ sells $10 to $20 IEMs which will sound far better than the MP-320. Much less expensive, yet really good... I suggest the Kefine Delci. Even though I have nearly three dozen IEMs which cost up to $300, the Delci has not left my desk ever since I purchased it nearly two weeks ago. See: https://www.amazon.com/HiFiGo-Delci-Monitors-Diaphgram-Earphones/dp/B0CXXY4Q3W Here is the Delci's frequency response graph relative to my preferred tuning target: https://soundcheck39.squig.link/?share=Bad_Guy_Target,Kefine_Delci In the above graph, ignore the 8 kHz peak which is actually caused by the microphone coupler which was used to measure the frequency response of the IEM. The Delci is a small and delightfully comfortable IEM which also comes with a rather decent stock cable. If the sub bass of the Delci is a bit too strong for you or for any of the other band members, then switching to Tri Clarion eartips will reduce the sub bass by around 2 dB. Here is a link for the Tri Clarion eartips which I use with the Delci: https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Silicone-4-50mm-5-50mm-Earphones-Headphones/dp/B0B7D9D1FJ There are several reviews for the Kefine Delci on YouTube. My personal experience with the Delci align with the reviews by these reviewers who I trust. I particularly trust the reviewers for the latter two links below. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZs5Q06KPhA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8Y-EoA-REg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmQAjw7Baeg I am not a musician. Since you are a drummer, I think that you might appreciate how well the Delci is able to replay the extremely fast drum sequences (and everything else) in this cover of by Sina: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mMQlhu3wBA Another reason why I am suggesting the Delci is that, since it is moderately priced, the price point will allow all members of your band to have a backup pair on hand if needed. I hope that the above is helpful.
r/iems • Mackie MP-320 issue ->P.S. I forgot to mention that the Delci has a slightly relaxed simulated pinna gain in the 1 kHz to 4 kHz region. This slightly relaxed pinna gain is important in terms of preventing listening fatigue. I can easily listen to the Delci for hours at moderately loud volume levels with no listening fatigue.
r/iems • Mackie MP-320 issue ->The Quartet is a bit lacking in details. The Quartet also is a bit spicy around 8 kHz. I returned the Quartet since the Cadenza actually had better details. The Z300 uses paper filters which veil the details. Definitely a nice and relaxing overall sound signature, yet not what I think that you are seeking. I think that the Kefine Delci will float your boat. If the bass is a bit too strong, simply switch to Tri Clarion or similar wide bore eartips to tame the bit of extra bass. What I like about the Delci, aside from its remarkable overall sound signature, is the overall performance of its very nice dynamic drivers. The bass is strong and clean, and the details throughout the entire frequency response is very nice.
r/iems • Upgrades from the Truthear Hexa ->I got **Truthear Hexa** as my first IEM (also I got the cheapest 4.4mm DAC from Aliexpress and a 4.4mm cable) and I was astonished by the quality of sound. But one thing (besides the eartips but this wasn't that much of a problem) left me wanting more, and it was bass. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the way the bass sounds on Hexa, it is strong, punchy, it is practically perfect, except its quantity. I always though of getting a second pair of IEMs specifically for electronic music with lots of bass. After doing some research, I decided to pick **Kefine Delci**, as it was praised for its bass. Additionally to it, I got Divinus Velvet and Dunu S&S eartips, as well as FiiO KA15 as a replacement to my first DAC. When I got the package, I started with the eartips so I can first get the perfect seal before I listen to the IEMs. The eartips are great for me, and I put the Divinus Velvet on my Hexa and Dunu S&S on the Delci. FiiO KA15 is a great DAC, but I don't have much to say about it. And when I tried the IEMs, I was a bit disappointed. There was definitely more bass, but it lacked that crispness, that quality that I like so much on Hexa. **Considering my experience, does anybody know any IEM they can recommend to me that I might like under 100 USD?**
r/iems • Upgrade! Or is it...? ->I got Hexa as my first IEM, but wanted a bit more bass. Was a bit disappointed with Kefine Delci, as it wasn’t the type of bass I looked for. Thinking about getting Kiwi Ears Melody next whenever possible to try it out. Did anyone here manage to find something with clean and detailed bass (like on Hexa), but stronger, while keeping the rest more of less the same?
r/iems • Truthear Hexa is Still Goated ->How do you like the Artti T10s? I have the Delcis and actually really like them for what they are. They are similar to my EW200s except with bit more bass and less treble harshness that some experience on the 200s. A bit of a warmer tuning overall but still manages to keep good vocal clarity and treble for the price. Is the Artti T10 something that does good in the vocal realm for let's say, male vocals? Like R&B-like vocals.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->I've never gone above $80 in the IEM hobby. After blowing money on beats headphones when I was younger and seeing how much better IEMs are, I told myself I would never go above $150 in this hobby. Still to date, the most expensive IEMs I own are the Truthear Hexa and the Kefine Delci. And to answer your question, of the ones I tried, the Hexa if you prefer something neutral, the Delci if you want something warm and bassy, and the Kefine Klean if you want something in between in terms of tuning. My favorite out of what I own, which are mostly budget sets are the Kefine Klean. They are probably the best IEM I believe at $50 and the tuning is almost exactly what I like for the type of audio I listen to. You should consider the type you listen to along with your personal preferences before making a decision with whatever you go with next.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->Kefine Delci, probably my end game IEM
r/DigitalAudioPlayer • What IEM’s would you recommend? ->can't go wrong with Truth Ear Reds, just gotta make sure you find the right tips for them as the nozzles are chonk. I was quite underwhelmed at first, took a month to find the right tip to realise how good that are (I have to go down a nozzle size) I can see a few others have recommend the Kefine Klean, I'm keen to try these out. Love my Delci AEs. Only gripe is they sit very shallow in the ear (I'm assuming Klean will be a similar shape), had to get double flange tips to have them sit securely
r/iems • Which one should I buy? ->Completely agree with the review findings. I would recommend this over the EW300 any day of the week. And a good cheaper alternative to the AFUL Explorer if its out of your price range. That said, i still think the Delci AE is the best in the price range for a more warm sounding IEM. Especially with the Gold nozzle. Despite having plenty of other better IEM's, i still keep the Fudu in my rotation. It has a certain charm to the tonality and timbre that i really enjoy. I think the only really weak side of it, as you correctly pointed out, is the bass performance. It is slow, and more complex tracks it will struggle with technicalities. But if you dont know what you dont know, then you wont notice it as a problem. And there are plenty of more expensive IEM's with worse bass performance, so i cant fault it too much. And i think most people will likely consider the bass performance to be above average. Given the typical bass performance on mainstream wireless IEM's.
r/iems • Mini Review: Tangzu Dufu ->Agreed. I have been lampooned for my review of the EW300 saying it was sub-mid. And other have taken issue with Tone Deaf Monk, and JayTiss for saying the same thing. The EW300 is absolutely overhyped, and is not kind to certain ear anatomy. For some people it sounds great...i naturally assume those people have never heard anything else, and have zero frame of reference. EA500Lm and Delci AE are superior.
r/iems • EW300 just unbearable, need help! ->The Delci AE is a great IEM, but it has its limitations. The Tea Pro is significantly better in almost every way. You wont be disappointed.
r/iems • Just how much better would the audio quality be if I upgrade from a ~$80 to $350? ->You are spot on. Really. I really love the Delci (even more the Delci AE) and the EW300 is really the perfect compliment to it. Both are really good price to performance sets.
r/iems • Simgot EW300 Review ->The reason is the sound paper in the nozzle. Happened to me as well, they say the reason is moisture but I doubt that. You have to order a sound paper and a metal piece and change yourself.
r/iems • Switched from KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition to Kefine Delci – Just My Review on These Iems ->We all suffer from this problem we are always look for something new that we think will be better and the last thing we need. After a while, you get used to it and start looking for something new that may be better, so this problem begins after a while, you will find that you have more IEMS than you use. 2 months ago I have no iems now I have : KZ ZSN PRO X KZ ZS10 PRO X ZIIGAAT NUO KEFINE DELCI TRIPOWIN PICCOLO

r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->The vocals are fantastic on the hexa.. in the Delci they're decent.
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->The S08 is my second-favourite IEM, with a huge caveat. They are really, really tip-sensitive. In fact they are the most tip-sensitive IEM I have found so far (out of about 50 that I own) with the only other 2 that come close being the Kefine Delci and the Hola. I have found that out of about 30 tips I've tried, they only sound good to me with Penon Liqueur Orange. Much to my annoyance, the black version doesn't sound the same, so I'm stuck with the stupid orange colour that doesn't match the IEM or my cable. Unfortunately tips are also ear-dependent, so just because those work for me, doesn't mean they will work for you. Might be worth a try though. I will say though that even with the right tips, the S08 sound is quite coloured and likely not for everyone. It's quite dark (some might say warm). The overall tonality is not unlike the Hola, although the Hola is a bit more neutral. Holy crap though, if you do get them sounding right, they are so much more resolving than the Hola and the imaging is incredible. The soundstage is really small though, everything is really intimate, but it has genuinely holographic layering within that small space. It's a perfect complement to my favourite IEM, the Simgot EA1000, which has pretty much the exact opposite sound signature & presentation. Ignore the people saying you need a new DAC/amp to get the right sound out of the S08, unless they are not getting loud enough. They need a bit more power than some IEMs, but not much. The problem is they have a very particular tuning that not everyone is going to like, and as mentioned that tuning is affected by tips far more than most IEMs. Incidentally the Hola is also a great IEM but another one that's very tip-sensitive. I find that they sound best on Tangzu Tang Sancai tips, but bear in mind that even at their best, they are all about being warm, relaxing and natural sounding. They have a big soundstage, but imaging isn't super precise and they are not detail monsters by any means. If you want something in the budget range that's pretty safe and not as tip-sensitive as any of these, I'd consider the Kiwi Ears Cadenza. It's very natural sounding with a slightly bassy tilt & is more resolving than the Hola. The Kefine Delci is also good & more resolving than the Cadenza, and although it's very tip-sensitive, it's different to the Hola and the S08 in that it sounds quite good with most (though not all) tips. It's just that the tips can change its presentation quite drastically from dark to v-shaped, vocal-forward/recessed etc., whereas the Hola and S08 just sound wrong unless you find exactly the right tips. I've also heard good things about the Moondrop Aria 2 but haven't heard it myself, so can't recommend it directly.
r/iems • Letshouer S08 is underwhelming, just marginally better than Truthear Hola for 4 times the price, suggest alternative please ->If you're worried about too much treble then the Kefine Delci is probably your best bet, although I don't personally find it sibilant, it does have relatively more energy around 6kHz which is where sibilance generally comes from. The EA500LM on the other hand has a lot of treble energy in general, so some people do find it bright. But it seems to vary a lot by individual. The treble is balanced out by the bass, so most people find it quite balanced, maybe even a bit warm-leaning. If you look at it on a graph it looks extremely v-shaped, but it doesn't have the sort of midrange recess you'd expect, it actually sounds more neutral than it looks. I'd probably stay away from the T10 because it has very planar treble, so it might come across as too "sizzly" for you. It also doesn't have the same bass impact as the other 2, even though it has very clean and linear bass extension.
r/iems • Best very crisp, detailed not sibilant but enough bassier IEMs under 100$ ->Kefine Delci is probably the safest all-rounder right now. If you can get the AE version for the same price as the original go for that because it has removable tuning nozzle, but if there's a significant price difference most people prefer the nozzle that sounds like the original anyway.
r/iems • Truthear Blue 2s are here ->EA500LM is very good but also quite v-shaped and some people find the treble too intense. The Kefine Delci is pretty good if you want a warm, slightly dark signature. It has very clean bass, not too overpowering. The Moondrop Aria 2 is also supposed to be very good, though I haven't heard it. It's supposed to sound almost exactly like the Kato, which I do have and is very good. The Delci is warmer, the Kato is more resolving (I can't say for certain if the Aria 2 is as resolving as the Kato though). The Artti T10 is a very good all-rounder planar with decent bass although it's not really warm signature as such with the stock tuning. It's only about $50 but you need to budget for a decent DAC/amp because it loses bass if underpowered. Ideally you'd want something with EQ but if you're on Android or Windows you can do global EQ in software anyway so that might not be a big deal. It's not possible on iOS without hardware. I don't know DACs that well so IDK if there's anything around that price with EQ, but there should be plenty with enough power for the T10. Another one to look at is the Aful Explorer, which I haven't heard but it's on my radar for possible next buy. It has quite a warm/bassy signature. It has loads of reviews on YT you can check out. Not sure if you can find it in budget though, might be a bit over.
r/iems • Is there better alll rounder IEM than sigmot ea 500 lm under 100 dollars ? ->It looks like You had almost the same journey as me. I've also been loving various genres mainly EDM, and playing games a lot, and I used SteelSeries Arctis Nova7 before using IEMs. 2 Months ago, I made my choice, blind buying Mangird Tea Pro from Ali and I just fell in love in it. I still like my previous IEMs(Delci, EW300, NX7 Mk4, Vivace), but Tea Pro feels just way too good in both music and gaming. However, I highly recommend you to try it offline or check the return policy. Their shape is very unique and it might be awkward, the fit is perfect for me though. Anyway, Good for you enjoying music ! Good luck and have fun : )
r/iems • I've fallen in love ->At the very first time, I thought it was a bit tight. But now it just fits my ears perfectly, as I mentioned. Maybe my ear has adapted to it, lol. Whether I eat or talk while listening, it just sticks to my sweet spot. The main reason I chose Tea Pro was gaming. And it's been very satisfying. It sounds literally accurate and never misses small footsteps. I also love its sound signature. I'm still trying to figure out the difference between Tea Pro and my previous devices. One thing I felt was that it even changed my sound preference. I liked Kefine Delci more than Ew300 last year. I think I just cared about the quantity of bass, but now I feel differently, I like EW300 more for gaming and its balanced tuning. And, Tea Pro has richer bass, sweeter vocals, and crispy but not fatigueing hat than EW300. It's definitely an upgrade and even the endgame for me. I have actually never searched for another IEMs since Tea Pro. Hope you get my feelings through my bad English and choose well. : )
r/iems • I've fallen in love ->I recently made a switch from the KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition to the Kefine Delci, and I wanted to share my thoughts and observations after spending some time with both IEMs. Below is a technical comparison of these two models from my perspective. KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition: Sound Signature: As the name suggests, the KZ Castor Pro features a Harman target-inspired tuning with an emphasis on bass. The bass is definitely present, punchy, and clean, giving it an impactful low-end response that enhances genres like EDM and pop. The mid-bass feels a bit boosted but stays well controlled without bleeding into the mids. Bass Performance: The bass is the highlight here. It has great sub-bass extension, delivering a satisfying rumble that provides depth in the mix. However, at times it can feel a bit overwhelming for more mid-centric genres. Midrange: The mids are slightly recessed due to the bass emphasis. Vocals are clear but might lack the warmth or forwardness some listeners may prefer. Female vocals especially are slightly distant compared to other IEMs in this price range. Treble: The treble region is decent, with a slight emphasis in the upper mids. This provides some brightness but avoids harshness or sibilance. However, the treble can sometimes feel a little artificial or lacking in air and sparkle. Soundstage & Imaging: The soundstage is fairly wide for an IEM at this price point, but it doesn't quite match some higher-end models in terms of depth and precision. Instrument separation is good, although the bass-heavy signature can occasionally muddle the finer details. Build Quality: Solid and well-built. KZ’s usual plastic construction, but it feels durable enough for everyday use. The fit is relatively comfortable, though it’s slightly bulky compared to some other IEMs. Kefine Delci: Sound Signature: The Kefine Delci offers a more balanced, neutral sound signature compared to the KZ Castor Pro. The tuning is more refined, with a focus on clarity, precision, and transparency. Bass response is more controlled, and the mids are forward, providing a natural representation of vocals and instruments. Bass Performance: The bass on the Delci is tighter and more controlled. It's still present, but it doesn’t overwhelm the other frequencies. Sub-bass is less pronounced compared to the Castor Pro, but it delivers a more balanced and accurate low-end that’s perfect for genres like rock, classical, and jazz. Midrange: The midrange on the Delci is exceptional, with both male and female vocals coming through clearly and with good tonality. There's a sense of intimacy to the sound, and the mids are not recessed at all, unlike the Castor Pro. The overall detail retrieval here is far superior, offering a more natural and engaging listening experience. Treble: The treble is smooth and detailed with good extension, providing clarity without becoming harsh or sibilant. There’s a noticeable improvement in air and sparkle compared to the KZ Castor Pro, offering a more natural sense of space and detail. Soundstage & Imaging: The Kefine Delci excels in soundstage width and depth, offering a more three-dimensional presentation. Imaging is more precise, and instrument separation is superior, allowing you to easily distinguish between different elements in the mix. This is a standout feature compared to the KZ Castor Pro. Build Quality: The Delci offers a premium feel with a more refined and ergonomic design. The materials feel high-end, and the overall fit is more comfortable than the Castor Pro. It’s slightly larger in size but still very comfortable for long listening sessions. To sum up, The KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition offers a fun, bass-heavy sound that works well for listeners who enjoy a more energetic and impactful bass presence. However, its recessed mids and lack of treble sparkle might not be suitable for those who crave detail and clarity. On the other hand, the Kefine Delci offers a much more balanced and refined sound, with excellent clarity, control, and a well-defined soundstage. Its forward mids, controlled bass, and smooth treble make it a great all-rounder for a wide variety of genres. If you’re looking for a fun, bass-forward experience, the KZ Castor Pro is a solid choice. But if you prefer a more neutral and accurate sound with superior imaging and detail, the Kefine Delci is a significant upgrade. Hope this helps anyone deciding between the two! Feel free to ask if you have any questions about either IEM.
r/iems • Switched from KZ Castor Pro Harman Improved Bass Edition to Kefine Delci – Just My Review on These Iems ->I have AirPods Pro 2’s and the music is very, very good. Apple did well on that score. They are also more featured, and one of them is the personalized audio, spatial music, and Dolby Atmos. One thing I found was if I went straight from my IEMs that have what are considered having an ok soundstage, not the best, to being shocked at how wide and present the soundstage felt with the APP’s. Everything lined up with depth in front of me, and with well engineered Atmos, all around me. It was jolting. But it’s all psychoacoustic algorithms, not the actual music. Some would call that just a trick and fake, not a true reproduction of the music. Personally, I just enjoy it. If I’m going for pure, I use my room speakers, as not even excellent headphones can do that. So expectations from hardware have to be realistic. The Red’s get hyped. A lot. I’m not sure they represent the best of breed in their price range, but do have lots of fans. There are many other IEMs out there that have markedly different sound signatures, and the Reds may not fit your preferences at all. It doesn’t make them bad, just not a match for you. Even if you increase volume, you’re not going to change the fundamentals of its frequency response. It’s certainly not a set known for strong bass. Aphex Twin isn’t going to be a strong point. That said, I find with my APP’s (don’t have Samsungs so I can’t give you a first hand comparison) that while the music is well defined, vocals, particularly female, which is a genre of female vocalists I listen a lot to, shine. Its weakness is poor bass and subbass, at least completed to any of my IEMs. I’m not at all a basshead, but I like a warm sound with a solid foundation, and when listening to something like EDM or house, want to feel an ear rumble. The APP’s don’t provide that. I do obviously prefer warmer IEMs, and am a bit treble sensitive, so I don’t like piercing highs, sibilance, but lose some sparkle and air. There’s always a tradeoff. The IEMs I have that are favorites for my personal taste are sets like the Kefine Delci and Letshuoer S08, both warm with solid bass, good mids, nice vocals, but darker treble. While they can’t pull off the soundstage tricks of my APP’s they more than make up for it in bass and overall sound quality. I use them at home, when music is my primary activity. But if I’m doing other things, or out and about, the APPs are still my go to. No wires to carry around, easy adjustments without pulling my phone or a dac/amp out, no pulling an earbud out to have a conversation or hear my surroundings, ANC for when I want silence, all that stuff. I’ve been involved in the “audiophile” stuff for decades and still view my speakers as my best listening experience. But over time I discovered headphones could be great (still listen to my close to 20 year old HD600’s). I have discovered IEMs that give me incredible experience with sound that’s a fraction of the cost of the other stuff. But don’t sell your tws, like the Samsungs or certainly APPs, short, they’re probably the best sounding earbuds on the market (yes the new Samsung 3 pros, with the stem that resembles the AirPods are likely to be superb as well). You’re matching up an IEM against some real competition. But you can beat them with the right IEM for half the price, or less, if the sound signature matches your preference. Get the new dongle and give it a little more time. Make sure you have a good seal in your ears with your ear tips, it’s crucial with an IEM or they’ll sound like crap. The Reds have a thick nozzle, sometimes making that difficult in smaller ears, and the included ear tips may not be the best fit for you. I know I had to play around with buying different third party ear tips before discovering that for my ears the Spinfit W1’s were my best fit for most of my IEMs. If you just can’t get used to them, or don’t like them, you’re not alone. I hope you have a way of returning them if they don’t work out. But I wouldn’t give up on IEMs as a whole. I’d spend more time reading and exploring reviews of others, that may be a better fit. As already mentioned, something with more v like tuning might be better, or tuned to a Harman target which is generally popular for many people although, at least for me, not fun or exciting. I hope you figure it out and get to a point of putting a set on and feeling carried away by the music.
r/iems • Truthear Zero: Red - underwhelming?.. ->Another fan of the Kefine Delci (typing this while listening to them). For lower priced I’ll throw in the Cadenza, although it should fall in an under $50 budget category.
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->Check out the good guide linked in NinjaSirens comment. If you want something that’s version, including gaming, the Delci AE is a good choice. The EW300 is a very popular recommendation around here, but I’m not sure serious gamers like it as much, but if you’re not going competitive FPS’s, it’s fine for casual gaming. The Delci offers a somewhat more bassy sound, the EW300 a bit more high treble. Both have tuning nozzles to let you try out small changes in the primary sound of the IEM, giving you a little more in choices to suit your preference.
r/iems • Can someone reccomend me an iem for 50-70 euros ->The Cadenza is an outstanding performer in its price range. It’s fun with decent bass and subbass, vocals are nice, not shouty or sibilant. It definitely punches above its price, which I don’t think can be said of the others you’re considering. If you can stretch your budget, and find a good sale, the Kefine Delci is outstanding. It’s usually $75, but sales can bring it down to ~$55. It’s warm, bassy, but has a nice extension at the high end without ever getting sibilant. They have a smaller all metal body and fit well. I will say they did even better after adding Spinfit W1’s, but the stock tips are ok. It also has a very decent cable for an under $100 IEM, let alone at the $50-55 range. The Cadenza has a decent, if thin, cable as well, both without any significant microphonics, another pet peeve of mine. But if the $50 is firm, and you can’t find the Delci at the right price, I think the Cadenza stands out as the best for the money at $30-35.
r/iems • Getting budget IEM’s, But which one is best? ->Just ordered a set of Delci so I’ll keep you posted when they get here!
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->I got recommended on reddit to be honest I put up A post because I wanted a more premium feeling iem. I’ve already got a set of tangzu xuan nvs and I’m not very impressed with them
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Delci AE for sure the best gaming ones in that price range, I'm not a big fan of them for music tho, I much prefer Vivace safe tuning but tbh they are not as detailed in either gaming or music, hnorable mention to QKZ x HBB, those you can grab for $15 and are still rly good for gaming, bit behind delci ae and qkz x hbb and more fun sounding than vivace
r/iems • Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->AE is much better for gaming than original one
r/iems • Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->even $15 qkz x hbb is better for gaming than hexa, this guy has delci, not delci ae, delci ae is completely different beast for gaming
r/iems • Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->didn't like Hexa because of BA timbre, they are decent for music, Delci AE too, not a huge fan for music but for gaming they are amazing, qkz x hbb I rly like the fit so I used them much more, not a fan of the cable but it's like $15 for the whole IEM, for music it's not as good as other two it lacks detail but for gaming it's good, not like Delci AE but it's not that far behind tbh, it's not like a step up to go from qkz x hbb to delci ae like it would be going splendor II(these are the ones I use)
r/iems • Best iems for both gaming and music? mainly on the gaming side. ->delci AE specifically, it's on par with supermix4 but for music it's a lot worse so it's always on sale from 90 to 70-75, if you don't want IEM for music just for gaming delci AE is my top rec
r/iems • Best IEM for competitive CS2 matches? ->Delci AE is better for gaming, otherwise EW300, all around EW300 is just better, Delci AE is only better than $49 Klean for gaming
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->delci ae is better for gaming than em6l but worse for music edit:/ all around for $99 letshouer s08, it's better for music than these and just as good forgaming as em6l still not as good as delci ae tho
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Tripowin Vivace $30 is all you need but if you want best under $100 CAD you should buy Kefine Delci AE on sale
r/iems • 7Hz Sonus vs G1 for gaming use only ->for gaming they are below Vivace, like Ziigaat Nuo or QKZxHBB, if you want something better than Vivace for gaming you should be looking at Kefine Delci AE, if you want even better than that you are looking at $230+ msrp IEMs SuperMix4 is as good as Delci AE for gaming and better for music but it's also $150 usd and has questionable QC at best
r/iems • 7Hz Sonus vs G1 for gaming use only ->for 80 only Delci AE is better for gaming, it's also better for music, for 80 on sale you could also grab Letshouer S08 on sale which is just as good as Vivace for gaming but A LOT better for music, even than Delci AE, so if you value music more get s08, if you value gaming more get Delci AE if you value your wallet the most get Vivace xD
r/iems • 7Hz Sonus vs G1 for gaming use only ->for music it's lot better, Delci AE is not good for music for it's price, for $40 maybe but imo it's worse than Klean which you can get under $40 on sale or 7Hz Sonus Delci AE is great for gaming for the price, that's why people buy it
r/iems • Just how much better would the audio quality be if I upgrade from a ~$80 to $350? -># Review Of The SIMGOT DEW4X https://preview.redd.it/vlgx02774qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=5bea61502b8c196b29464664c70eddded31198ae **Introduction** Simgot is a Chinese audio company that has been making waves in the industry with its impressive releases since last year. They have captured the hearts of not just me, but many audiophiles in our community with their exceptional sound quality and attention to detail. What's more, Simgot is also renowned for its unparalleled customer service, which is a rare and valuable trait in today's market. Along with Kinera and Kiwi Ears, Simgot is celebrated as one of the friendliest and most understanding companies out there. In recent times, new companies like Kiwi Ears, AFUL, and others have been delving into the technology of DAC/AMPs. Nevertheless, Simgot has been in this market for quite some time and has released the third iteration of its dongle DAC, following DEW0 and DEW1, known as the DEW4X. Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on one. Before proceeding, I'd like to clarify a few points. https://preview.redd.it/x1209o664qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=0134d44dc57fa217d6043ae27ee748e19f7d8cfa **Disclaimer** \*Since this unit tour was organised by the kind people at SIMGOT, I am grateful to them. And as I've said in all of my evaluations, the same is true for this one: all of the concepts I've expressed below are entirely my own, original ideas that haven't been influenced by anyone else. If interested, go to this [link](http://www.simgot.com/en/products/detail/33.html). \*I am not associated with the connection, and I receive no financial assistance from anyone. \*For the remainder of the review, I will refer to this device as “DEW4X” \*Finally, I will only evaluate the DEW4X based on their performance, even though I will explain how it feels and seems physically and aesthetically. **Specification** The Dual CS43198 DAC chipset in DEW4X supports native DSD256 and 32-bit/384kHz PCM. As a more user-friendly device, the DEW4X supports type-C and lightning data transmission in addition to 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced. The device has two volume rocker controls on the side, and one beside the type c port, it includes an indicator light that changes colour according to the format sampling feeding, from blue to green. The user can also switch between low and high gain by pressing both volume buttons at the same time. To activate UAC 1.0 before powering on the device, press and hold the volume up button until the indicator light flashes after connecting it; once it does, release it to support UAC 1.0 mode. The DEW4X includes a type-c to c OTG cable and a USB C to A adapter. Regarding technical aspects, the data in the table is listed below for your convenience and comprehension. |Output|3.5mm|4.4mm| |:-|:-|:-| |Output Power |2x70 mW |2x150 mW | |Distortion|0.00025% |<0.0002% | |SNR|125 dB |130 dB | |Dynamic|125 dB |130 dB | |Noise floor |1 uVrms |1.5 uVrms| https://preview.redd.it/5wz90gs44qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=3447409cf5976f68df94435570fbebef8f58c976 **Design And Aesthetics** To give you a detailed description, I must say that upon close inspection, the device seems to be smaller than the Moondrop Dawn Pro, and may even be more compact, with dimensions of 12.6 mm \* 41.7mm \* 24mm. The device is CNC machined, which gives it a very practical and functional look. The oxidized black shade with black and purple cross design, along with the purple etched DEW4X, adds a distinct and premium look to the device. The construction seems ultra-fine and has a sleek form factor that makes it stand out from the rest. The cable is also noteworthy, as it is constructed with high-purity OFC wire that is wrapped in a sturdy shielding layer. https://preview.redd.it/cqqskji34qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ea28a756e62047566ec6bfa31438622d5b3d245 **Usage** During my time using the device, I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient and user-friendly it was compared to the Allegro I had previously reviewed. Although I hadn’t reviewed or used the DAWN Pro for an extended period, I found the DEW4X and Allegro to be more compact and intriguing than the DAWN Pro. The DEW4X has a multi-level volume control that can be adjusted independently of the volume control on the source it is connected to. I even took it outside and found it easy to carry in my pocket, though the slightly sharp edges made it a bit challenging to remove from my pants pocket. However, this did not cause any significant inconvenience. https://preview.redd.it/wfplosl24qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=cdcc81e478437b838dbcc4e415223689bfd2803b **Sound Impressions** **IEMs** Thieaudio Prestige LTD Prestige LTD is the very reason I am now able to find the truth in my musical dreams; I have never heard another IEM that ploughs your ears with faith in each note, no matter how those notes should sound and nurtures your senses with dynamics and presentation as if I were hearing reality. Previously, I owned the Monarch MKII, which established what one would expect, but once the prestige's magic began to flourish, I knew I could explore so much more with it, especially when it came to the air and presence of each nuance the notes were able to grasp over and tingled my senses. To summarise the prestige's response sounds as if the Monarch MKII were given steroids and enhanced the upper frequencies in all directions with better authoritative flow in the lower response. The response is neutral with sub bass boost, similar to the Monarch MKII, with the exception that the notes are airier and more revealing than any other IEM before this era. However, the thinner notes and excessive clarity provide obnoxious features that expose bad mixing and recordings, which were highly obvious when heard on my V6 but smoothed out on my WM1A, indicating source dependence. https://preview.redd.it/fa4jjv714qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=b76d3b36bc48239f378b80e80099112b6e2d4310 It was an amazing experience to listen to LTD with DEW4X. The response from the IEMs was outstanding as it brought out a more crisp quality and refinement in the notes. The presentation sounded more engaging and precise, especially with the attack of notes that seemed to be delivered with great accuracy and clarity. However, while listening to the overall response, it seemed like the pairing got a little congested, where the vocals blended better with the instruments, creating a harmonious and enjoyable musical response. The bass sounded more prominent and centered, producing an authoritative approach that made the whole response sound vigorous and fuller. Overall, the listening experience was truly immersive and satisfying with the perfect balance of all the elements. Symphonium Crimson I have come across the Crimson IEMs and I have to say that they are a cut above my best-sounding IEM, the Prestige LTD. The Crimson provides an incredibly enjoyable experience, surpassing any other IEMs I have heard, whether they are top-of-the-line or not. The Crimson’s presentation is expressive yet smooth, with a balanced and warm response that accurately reproduces the quality of the notes while providing a playful presentation of the vocals and instruments. The newer BA IEMs can sound less metallic or artificial, but Symphoniom has gone above and beyond in this regard. I have previously thought that the Helios offered better detail retrieval than the Thieaudio Monarch MKII, but I preferred the Monarch MKII’s pleasing tonality, which became my favourite at the time. However, the Crimson has now generously offered everything I wanted and more, including the weight and impact of the bass, and the musicality in the presentation of the vocals and instruments in the upper frequencies while retaining a pleasing tonality. https://preview.redd.it/qj2yeyyz3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=8a92fffdab1a5b47cb27c26b57a60e424f2e2215 As I was listening to music on the Crimson with DEW4X, I couldn't help but notice the transparent response and enhancement over all frequencies. The sound was clearer and more expressive than ever before, with every detail feeling stronger and more potent in the mix. This allowed for better clarity overall, making it easier to hear every note and nuance in the music. However, while the bass and treble did feel a little more linear and clearer, it also made the music sound less organic and natural. The tonality faced a leaner presentation of the notes, which might not be preferable for those who prefer a warmer, more natural sound. Softears Studio 4 The Studio 4 has one of the most precise and targeted tunings that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The Harman target is followed objectively, but the resulting sound is much more than just a flat response. Instead, it offers a fuller and more present upper treble response, which is a delight to the ear. I must say that this tuning has become one of my favourites, particularly because it places less emphasis on the mid-bass and more on the sub-bass, yet it still manages to maintain a pleasing tonal warmth in the overall mix. What struck me most about the Studio 4 is the quality and timbre of the mid-range notes. They sound properly rounded and natural, allowing the notes to blend seamlessly. This is especially impressive considering that Studio 4 is an all-BA set, which often tends to sound fatiguing with a less full response. The Studio 4, on the other hand, delivers a non-fatiguing and safe overall sound, while also maintaining a fuller response that places the details precisely where they should be. I have experienced many other IEMs in the same price range, but most of them tend to sound more balanced or mid-centric, with some focusing on crisp and detailed notes. Unfortunately, this often leads to metallic or artificial characteristics being introduced, which can be distracting. Thankfully, Studio 4 does not suffer from any of these issues, and it is a pleasure to listen to. https://preview.redd.it/xifx8zry3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e62dc3260fa108150a9c58341b023f21e5a01cd As I paired Studio 4 with DEW4X, I noticed a significant improvement in the clarity and resolution of the audio response. The soundstage was more focused and closer, which added depth to the overall response. In my opinion, this made the audio quality sound much better. The details in the vocals and instruments were expressed sincerely, allowing for a more immersive listening experience. The treble had a more open feel without sounding too airy, while the mid-range was slightly recessed, making the vocals sound more defined. The high octaves were particularly well-expressed, surpassing any of my other audio sources. The bass was light, but it still had a prominent presence without feeling too overpowering. Overall, the audio response was more monitoring-specific, which helped to highlight small nuances in the mix. Thor Mjolnir MKII Mjolnir is a very bassy set that has a lot of sub-bass emphasis. The treble and upper mid-range are also very forward in the mix. The upper treble has great extension as well. The bass is very punchy and boomy while acting fast. Mjolnir is a great V-shape-sounding IEM with a different approach to explosive bass that has better technicalities, especially in this price range. The stage is great with a nice surrounding stage and depth where the separation of each element sounds distant enough to procure space to breathe and distinguish themselves. The attack and decay of the driver capability are really quick and perform great. The vocals may feel lean and sparkly, but the warmth or the fuller experience is something that these lack. The bass response does vary from source to source whether I listen to a warm source or a neutral one, the bass becomes either overwhelming authoritative or both. https://preview.redd.it/liho0qvx3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=1381aa847c4741998d470501fa7c5c9541a59f23 As I was listening to the Mjolnir with DEW4X, I noticed that the response was more refined and tightly controlled, resulting in a less scattered soundstage. This helped to tone down the treble sparkle and instead emphasized the robust characteristics of the notes. Additionally, the upper mid-range was less emphasized, allowing for a greater presence of the lower mid-range. This helped to correct the tonal balance from my perspective and gave the music a more natural and pleasing sound. As for the bass, I noticed that even the strongest impacts sounded light and well-rounded, resulting in a warm and inviting sound. Overall, the sound signature was less lively but better balanced, providing a more enjoyable listening experience. Tin Hifi P1 Max II Based on my recollection, the previous version of the P1 MAX II, the P1 Max, had a warm and neutral sound that produced a pleasing response with rounded notes and a safe response. However, the P1 Max II takes that safe tuning and adds more detailed aspects to the sound. Compared to its predecessor, the P1 Max II has a more balanced response with an emphasised mid-range. This results in a more engaging and lively sound. In today's world of Planar IEMs, many companies have started using this technology and released successful products. This has led to a highly competitive market, with each company striving to excel in their technology and tuning on planar drivers. Despite this, I believe that the P1 Max II stands out as a unique and intriguing IEM in the market. https://preview.redd.it/wqo617jw3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=d5265ccd4efee6cfaad2227339241a8c39c3a01c As I was enjoying listening to my P1 Max II with DEW4X, I couldn’t help but notice the astounding clarity and lifelike quality of the sound. The notes were crystal clear, with a crispness that I had never experienced before with any of my other audio sources. The resolvability of the notes was simply remarkable; every single note was easily distinguishable, and the overall sound was a delight to the ears. The overall balance of the sound was impressive, with the treble response being particularly noteworthy. It was more pronounced and noticeable in the mix, yet it seamlessly blended with the rest of the audio. The bass was punchy and impactful, yet it felt lighter and more refined than ever before. Overall, my listening experience was incredibly immersive, and I couldn’t be more delighted with the clarity and precision of the sound. Kiwi Ears X Crinacle Singolo The Singolo's tuning tends toward a natural warm tone that becomes increasingly pleasurable to listen to with each second. The bass response is optimized to sound larger, bodied, and genuine. Whatever I said, it wouldn't have mattered if the technology that the corporation was pleased to deliver to us wasn't effective. But, after giving it a good amount of time to understand and find logic, the only thing I was able to understand was that the driver used is of high quality, as is the use of the K.A.A.R.S technology, which is the implementation of acoustic tuning from the back of the driver to accentuate the air pressure, allowing for a dip around 200Hz-400Hz without affecting the natural tone that resides in that region. The whole response sounds genuine, lively, and right in every manner conceivable. The only issue I have is with the treble, yet it is what makes the Singolo sound great. https://preview.redd.it/1c8vl6fv3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=962ecd532d84375f62a326be4868a762d25e0b69 While listening to the Singolo with DEW4X, the response appears cleaner and tonally leaner, while the notes sound closer, bringing the details and resolution to a higher level. The control over the vocals improves the overall tone of the response. The instruments also sound more engaged, with an overall open and energetic tone. Another component to consider is the treble, which sounds more polished and linear. Overall, the response sounds more lively and balanced in terms of detail, positioning, and staging. Arrti R1 The comparison drawn here is quite similar to a recent experience I had with the Tin Hifi T5S. Both the R1 and T5S have a dark, warm bass response, with a particular emphasis on the sub-bass and forward mid-range. However, the R1’s bass is much heavier than the T5S, and it also has a better elevation in the upper treble, allowing for a more extensive treble response. The mid-range on the R1 is not too forward, which is a positive trait. The R1’s bass has a tucked lower mid-range, which gives it a more powerful sound, but it is less warm than the T5S. The T5S has less boom and more punch in the bass region. https://preview.redd.it/fxq24x4u3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=46bb5e230f90a1bcde7fd3259453c1fe4088d8a6 As I was listening to P1 Max II with DEW4X, I noticed that the audio response was incredibly clear and vivid. The notes were crystal-clear and precise, without any sharpness to them. The level of detail in the notes was significantly higher than anything I've heard from other audio sources. What impressed me the most, however, was the way that the treble response was so noticeable in the mix. The sterile response of the equipment allowed the treble to shine through, while still maintaining a punchy, impactful bass response that felt lighter and more dynamic. Overall, the sound quality was breathtaking, and I can't wait to experience it again. Arrti R2 According to my understanding, the R2 aims to produce a neutral sound with a boost in sub-bass frequencies. This specific sound signature results in a warmer and more pleasant tonal quality compared to similar products, such as the EPZ G10. Recently, EPZ has also made a significant impact on the audio community by showcasing that new brands can deliver excellent sound quality. ARTTI is another brand that has been gaining popularity among audiophiles. When comparing the R2 to the EPZ G10, I find its tonal accuracy and cohesiveness to be superior. Furthermore, the R1, its older unit, has undergone significant improvements in tuning across the frequency range, making it a much better option overall. https://preview.redd.it/94djzuds3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=515f9979d968da8468b6840aa30502a96b99c2ea After testing the R2 with the DEW4X, I was impressed by the level of precision exhibited in the notes' attack and the subtle nuances that were brought out by the device. The DEW4X is an incredibly clean and accurate source, which helped to bring out the finer details of each note and provided a level of clarity that is often missing in other DAPs. What stood out to me about the DEW4X was the device's ability to reproduce the speed of each note accurately. This meant that the transience of the music was much better, resulting in a more detailed and clear mix. Additionally, I found that the R2's presentation was well-balanced, with no particular frequency or region being emphasized over the others. Overall, I was very impressed with the DEW4X's performance, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, detailed, and accurate source for their music. Arrti T10 The T10 earphone follows a response that is more neutral with a sub-bass boost that emphasizes details and clarity while maintaining a tonal balance. From my experience with full-range Planar IEMs, they are known for their fast transient response, accuracy, and clear response which makes it one of the most resolving drivers in this segment. The T10 is no exception and is a great product considering the price at which it is being offered. However, what makes it unique from other full-range Planar IEMs is the exceptional balance between safe tuning and expressive details. The emphasis in the lower treble allows for a leaner, clearer response but the slightly laid-back upper mid-range around 3k makes it non-offensive sounding. This reminds me of the response like the U12t. In summary, the T10 offers an impressive combination of detailed and clear sound while maintaining a safe tuning that makes it a great choice for music lovers who value balance and clarity. https://preview.redd.it/qptdgadr3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=1b134887343b730616eef1e2635de6a14efd028d As I was listening to the T10 with DEW4X, I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. The response became more delicate and nuanced, with a richer, more vibrant tonality on female vocals. The instruments also sounded more distinct and vivid, with a newfound lightness and openness. The mid-range was particularly refreshing to listen to, with a clear, well-defined sound that was easy on the ears. The treble was less prominent, but still present, adding a subtle sparkle to the overall sound. The bass was also impressive, with good impact and rumble that never became overwhelming, even on bass-heavy tracks. All in all, the T10 with DEW4X is an outstanding audio experience that delivers exceptional sound quality across the entire frequency range. Kefine Delci When it comes to sound quality, this single dd IEM blew me away, and I feel they are the most well-tuned “balanced” sounding IEM under $100. I mean, I don't see anything wrong with it and I can't put them down. As previously stated, the response leans toward a tonally rich, revealing, and balanced sound profile. To believe that in this highly saturated category, an IEM that does not need to excel in sounding very precise or very target-specific, I am quite pleased with Kefine for delivering essentially an IEM that everyone will like. I mean lately, I also got the chance to evaluate the rose technics Quietsea which also follows a balanced sound with warmth in the bottom to mid region while sounding a bit spicy in the high area however the quality of the tuning Kefine produces makes the sound interesting and engaging. https://preview.redd.it/7k89cx3q3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c66c311c1a0dddf6c9d5e1a217d1e5c160c5d12 While listening to Delci coupled with DEW4X, the clarity and forwardness felt greater than any of my other sources, but DEW4X also maintained a coherent and tonal agreeable response. The clarity is attributable to the fact that the stage is narrower and more intimate, yet the whole reaction remains defined and separated. The notes sound polished, making the overall response more fascinating. I experimented with multiple in-ear monitors and found that none of them had any negative impact on sound quality. On the contrary, the DEW4X enhanced the sound quality by providing a stunningly clear, detailed and precise output. I was particularly impressed by its forward clarity, which brought out the best in any IEMs I paired it with. Overall, I am convinced that the DEW4X is the best dongle DAC in its price range, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding sound experience. https://preview.redd.it/6e5zvpko3qvc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=6323127b375d575693e8e5479186f63d54659569
r/headphones • The One Worthy to be Called the Best! The Simgot DEW4X ->My kefine delci just arrived. They sound amazing! I definitely will be able to use this as my current main iems. Thanks for the tip, you made me a happy man!
r/iems • Mackie MP-320 issue ->Thanks! I didn’t expect such an extended reply, so that’s very much appreciated. Given that my mp-320 almost completely lacks bass and lower mids, i believe something is wrong with the drivers or the cables. So i will try to send it back through RMA. However, thanks for suggesting the delci. I can’t order it from the amazon link (i live in EU), but i found i can also buy it from aliexpress. Given the price and the quality, i’m honestly considering this to become my main in-ears…
r/iems • Mackie MP-320 issue ->Artti T10 or Kefine Delci is way better than these S08, it's a disappointment IEM.It just looked expensive and nice that's all. There's no soundstage at all and it sounded like a cheap earbuds.
r/iems • Letshuoer S08 Review ->I knooooow. Honestly the first iem I bought was the QKZ HBB and had the Delci AE as an upgrade and well.. I was kinda disappointed What iem did you buy and upgraded to?
r/iems • Just how much better would the audio quality be if I upgrade from a ~$80 to $350? ->Kefine Delci could be a option Hexa owner and i love those iems
r/inearfidelity • IEM recommendation for $80 or less ->anything that has a smoother v shaped FR is already kinda bass bleeding a little, like if u dont like the ew300s, the aful explorer is dark leaning and the fact that ot has an emphasis on the bass and mid bass means its gonna overpower the mids more than the ew300s. s08 to me felt a little too dark and warm as well, i think the Delci might be more in ur range since its better balanced? but at the same time if u want proper separated mids, finding it in a v shaped iem is hard or non existent, ID rec more towards something like the new JM1DF target, the slight tuck but not really a tuck shape, helps separate the bass from the mids, or any more U shaped graph
r/iems • Recommend me an iem around 100 usd. ->Is the tanchjim mino an advosable choice mainly for the gym and practical use in the category of bluetooth earphones? Do you consider any cpntenders? And can recommend me some 2pin wires that work for most iems and the ones you got? I currently have the delci ae as daily driver.
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->Kefine Delci staging and imaging shoot way above their price at 60-80$
r/inearfidelity • Best iem for music separation and soundstage under 150-200 $ ->Buy kefine delci, juzear have very very good bass but on higher volume is little spicy, don't buy z300 risk od compensation issuse, i have this problem with mine. I use jm6 pro to
r/iems • $40 - $60 Basshead recommendations. ->Kefine Delci is the best for FPS games under $700 that I’ve tried.
r/iems • IEM recommendations for gaming? ->i own a delci and uhh, separation is fine but soundstage is still pretty intimate.
r/inearfidelity • Best iem for music separation and soundstage under 150-200 $ ->Just for reference I have owned several hundred IEMs including in my current stable the Thieaudio Monarch mk3, the Unique Melody MEST mk2, the Kinera Nanna 2.1, the Shouer EJO7M and the Canpur CP622B just to name a few. Some that really impressed me starting with the lowest priced, the Blon BL-03, the Tangzu x Seeaudio Shimin Li Encounter Edition, the Artti T10, the Kefine Delci, the Simgot EA500LM, and the one I believe could be endgame for most people that enjoy a bass oriented set the ZIIGAAT DOSCINCO.
r/iems • For people who have tried a lot of iem’s, what are some cheap iem’s that sound really expensive? ->Kefine Delci > Simgot Ea500lm > Truthear Zero Red > Salnotes zero 2
r/iems • Name every good IEM under $100! ->(amongst the iems have I owned) s tier: kiwi ears ke 4 and truthear hexa a+ tier: Ikko OH10, Pula PA02, Shuoer s12 pro, Sennheiser ie200, Kefine Delci, Dunu Titan S OG a tier: Dunu Titan s2, Tanchjim One, pre revision CCA CRA+ A- tier: Binary Chopin, Tangzu Waner Studio, KZ PR2 pre revision, Tripowin Olina SE B+ tier: Kiwi Ears Quintet, Tangzu Xuan Ji, Simgot EW 200, Truthear Gate and Hola, Tangzu Wan'er SG B tier: Moondrop Chu 2 and OG, KZ EDA Balanced, Kiwi Ears Quartet, Moondrop Aria Snow, FiiO Jade Audio JH3, Tripowin Lea B- tier: 7hz zero OG, Truthear Zero Blue, Whizzer BS1 C tier: KZ CRN D tier: Moondrop Quarks honorable mentions: Koss KSC75 in A minus, Porta Pro in B, Moondrop Space Travel in B-, Galaxy Buds Plus and 2 in A minus along with Airpods Pro Gen 1, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in A plus.
r/headphones • Rank your headphones (2025 edition) ->I'll give you a list of absolute bangers for that price that I've tried of course: Dunu Titan S2 - best package of eartips, cable, and case, decent sound quality Simgot EA500LM - Details, clarity, sharpness, and musical, guitars sound so good Nicehck F1 Pro - Planar techs and qualities on par with $100+ planar IEMs, same tuning with S12 Pro, nice treble quality, planar bass(not my type) Letshuoer S08 - a little more expensive but these are my favorite under $100, planar techs with deep punchy bass that does not sound like any other planar on this list and surprisingly good vocals, however has dark upper mids and treble, still a good all rounder Kiwi Ears Melody - V-shape, bass has good quantity but hits like a heavy pillow, mids are recessed and muddy but energetic highs, might be niche but I enjoyed them Kefine Delci - Bassy, good enough amount so don't expect a basshead type of beat, dark and bright treble, great tuning and and above average resolution but narrow soundstage. Some more to consider: Tangzu Xuan NV - sounds like Zero Reds, low/average resolution, layering is not great, but tuning is great, I'd rather have this than the Zero Red just for being more ergonomic, sancai tips, and pretty Truthear Hexa - Techs are above average for the price, tuning is flat can be sibilant and shouty, not as resolving as the EA500LM 7hz Sonus - cable is ass, pouch is meh, eartips are trash, drivers are really good, the overall techs are better than Truthear Zeros and Xuan NV. Bang for the buck all rounder IEM, great for gaming Read more reviews if you find one interesting, only you can tell what tuning is within your preference and what technicalities you can't live without.
r/iems • Best travel IEMs - Also my first IEM ->It's more rumbly than punchy, the bass isn't textured enough to feel tactile. At the same price range, I'd say Kefine Delci does that better in that regard, and there is also the 7hz Legato a more big and boomy bass than punchy.
r/iems • Is the tangzu fudu worthy for its price? ->ill say letshouer S08 with good amplification, or maybe the Kefine Delci but thats a noticeable focus on bass in both of them, what was the switch config you used the Rhapsody with?
r/iems • Advice for a new IEM ->ill personally would go for the S08 since it would be closer to what the Rhapsody config would was, but with fuller mids that would help with the overall presentation, now, afaik, delci is one of the most comfortable iems on its price range it sure would work well too with acustic music, but it can also be a bit overly energetic on some areas of the sound where Rhapsody wanst. The Que is fine, but it would be closer to what the Rhapsody is in terms of being more an energetic bassy V-shape, while the S08 and the Delci are more in line with a warm bassy sound. So, if you want just like a direct (kinda) upgrade, the Que could be better, if you want also a change in tuning, Delci or S08, but one think that i must mention is that some Reviewers said that the Que could potentially sound a bit muddy vs those other 2.
r/iems • Advice for a new IEM ->Happy new year brother xd. This is a Sub $50-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/ewQg6y32HB) In there you can search some options to pick from. definitely the Kefine Klean is worth a check for what you want. Tripowin Vivace is also pretty nice despite the cheaper price. Sgor Luna is another interesting pick that you can get bundled with a dongle dac for under $50. If you happend to be looking at the Delci, you will find it here: This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) however, i dont think the sound style is what you are looking for, not at least the normal version.
r/iems • Getting into IEMs at the beginning of 2025 ->yeah, could be good but delci is more bassy, so that would be your only problem tho. Inawaken is also pretty bassy but it opens up a bit more in the upper mids and treble. allthought some people find it not great with busy tracks.
r/iems • Getting into IEMs at the beginning of 2025 ->If thats what i think is a game soundtrack, then you just want a correct and balanced replay, unless more bass is what you want, also, well yeah, decent Soundstage is relevant, but something like the klean should work just fine, delci might have much aggressive bass and feel narrower in Soundstage so is not the best of ideas. Anything more balanced like Sgor Luna too, should be fine.
r/iems • Getting into IEMs at the beginning of 2025 ->As long as the seller did take care of it, should be fine, kefine seems to have decent bulld quality, at least for more expensive iems, the only problem, as said, is that the bass could be too much, if you dont like it, you wont be able to return it so, thats a choice for you to make.
r/iems • Getting into IEMs at the beginning of 2025 ->If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) There you can check the bassy part of the list, however, given thay you like the tuning of the BL03, i would recomend the Kefine Delci for sure, a bassy V-shape that is quite nice, if you also want some extra amount of bass, the TRN White tiger (or TRN Shell too) could be good second options with one of their 3 tuning nozzles (i believe is the red colored one on each).
r/iems • iem recommendation under 100usd ->So, If you havent checked it yet: This is a Sub $100-ish iem list i made: [- Click Here -](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/OXgg8IsbYi) However, i must mention that "a lot of bass" usually doesnt play all that well with rock music genres (with hip-hop is fine tho). So, if you just want something Funny and energetic, with Nice bass, the Kefine Delci or maybe the Kiwiears Canta could work, for some more bassy stuff, Explorer or the TRN White Tiger could work for you (specially the White tiger since it comes with 3 tuning nozzles to adjust the sound). If you really want LOTS of bass, the 7Hz Legato is the choice, and if you want something clearly bassy but not too bassy, the Letshouer S08 (along with a DAC for power) could be a solid option, allthought this one is a bit more on the relaxed side of sound because of its warm, bassy presentation.
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs Klean vs Aful Explorer vs HBB Deuce ->i am sorry, idk why reddit didnt notified me. the closer to properly basshead that i know is the Letshouer S08, followed by the Delci of Kefine, both arent that large on the nozzle, but they arent like small (if for reference we take iems like the Z300 which has a like 4.5mm or so nozzle), but they are under 6mm* afaik (not taking into account the lid tho), which is functional for most people, and also i have seen very little people complaint about the fit on them. That said, one eartip that could help a lot is the CP155 from spinfit, i have small ear canals and those mede fitting the Truthear Zero Blue possible (almost 7mm nozzle btw).
r/iems • Which IEM made you go 'nope' instantly? 😆 -># After a few months of my first mega list of options under $50 dollars... \---------- ***Click here for the sub $50 list:*** [https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/WfhfLLl0np](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/WfhfLLl0np) \---------- ... Finally, after so much corrections and problems, I can post my next list, I’m sorry for coming this late though, I hope people still finds it useful, this time, I came with options ranging from around $110 dollars (counting in discounts) down to $60 for those looking for a little more advanced options, either to make an upgrade to your cheaper IEMs, or to get started in the hobby, in any case, you are welcome. Unlike the first list, this time I won't detail so many things before listing options, if you want to know about where to possibly buy IEMs safely, which reviewers to check on YouTube for second opinions, and even understand a bit more of the terminologies used in the “audiophile lingo”, please check out the Sub $50 list, this one has two parts and explains a lot of this already. \---------- # PLEASE DO TAKE IN MIND: That I’m just a single person doing this compilation of information, this list is based off the general impressions of various trustworthy reviewers on these iems. This is **NOT** a ranking list, this **NOT** my personal best picks, and I do **NOT** own all of the iems on the list. This IS just a list for you to have alternatives to pick of fairly recent, good, safe-ish iems to pick from. There is so much a single person can do, so, **if you see any glaring error** with the description of any iem, or if you think there is any model left out that should be on this list, **please do let me know**, remember that this list only goes up to $110 because it will drop down to under $100 often on discounts, please do not mention iems over $110 or under $60. Here, before I start, I'm just going to make some specific clarifications that people should keep in mind when looking to buy any IEM in this price range. Do consider that **I’m being very superficial here**, this is **not** full audio engineer knowledge being explained in a simplistic way, rather, this is more like **summarized general concepts** to help people grasp basic ideas that they could need to know when entering the hobby. \---------- ***Over-reach Update:*** Per request of various people in the post, I will be adding iems around $120-$130 to consider grabbing if you see it below $100. # Gaming Update: As quite a lot of people have been asking for gaming options, ill make this update marking iems with performance rakings from the "WALLHACK CERTIFIED IEM TIER LIST" of Reviwer Fresh Reviews, who is pretty well known for recomending iems for gaming use, just be aware that this does not reflect my opinion about each IEM nor does it ensure that you will have an excellent video game experience just because its listed. The Fresh Reviews system gives letter grades where “S” is the best grade, going down from S-A to C+, where C+ means that they are the minimum sufficient to be able to play video games with. The way I will mark it would be putting the score besides the name "(with FRS: “Mark obtained”)" (FRS = Fresh Reviews Score), example: Truthear Zero Red (FRS: C+), if you don't see this mark, it means that either Fresh Reviews did not consider it good for gaming, or did not review the product. \---------- # Relevant clarifications: **---** * **“Hybrid IEMs = Better?”** A constant question you see these days is “are more drivers better than one?” and the answer is always: in budget price ranges? absolutely not, especially under $100. What mostly dictates the sound quality and technicality of a headphone is the quality of the driver(s) used, it doesn't matter if an earphone has 20 drivers per side at this price range, if another company is selling you one with only 1 driver, and people say it's good, that's because it usually is, the amount of drivers in lower price ranges means almost nothing, there may be extra benefits of having more drivers, but those benefits are not a “game changer” in this price range, pick based on performance, use case and sound preference, not on driver config…UNLESS you dislike the way that one specific type of driver produces sound.. \--- * **“What’s a Planar?”** IEMs that only use planar drivers are a special thing because usually drivers of this type offer very good and balanced technicalities in general at this price range, you know: separation, detail, resolution, soundstage, and all those terms you have heard. What happens is that most of these drivers also have some disadvantages that pay in return for the techs, among them the most common ones are: * That some people consider that the noise they produce in vocals and treble sounds somewhat “metallic”, which can be annoying or distracting. * \- * The second problem is that usually planar drivers, at least in this price range, do not have the most textured or impactful bass, they may have good bass presence and rumble, but they usually do not get to be as intense and feel as physical as a good dynamic driver can. * \- * And finally, planar drivers usually require a decent amount of amplification from a DAC to perform to the best of their capabilities, if you plan on choosing a full planar IEM, you really, ideally, should be running them with a DAC, unlike other driver types or even hybrid configurations at this price range, a planar IEM can exhibit noticeable changes in sound and performance when not properly amplified, especially reducing their overall technicalities and sounding less clean than they should. IF YOU CAN, hook them to a good dongle DAC with a 4.4mm cable for the best amplification possible. That's why, when I say that a planar will need “good application”, I mean that you'll probably want to use something more than the typical apple dongle recommendation to move a planar earphone, mostly just to make sure you are powering them correctly. \--- * **“Should I get a dongle DAC?”** And the last point, although speaking of amplification again, above $50 you really should start considering getting a dongle DAC for your IEMs, because, while even at this price point, most iems could work pretty fine without it, you could likely end up leaving some performance “on the table” if they are underpowered. It is not obligatory for you to get one, specially if you dont get a planar, but also don’t be surprised if your iems doesn’t give you enough volume or if your new iems doesn’t seem to perform as great as most people say, you don’t need anything too fancy, just try a basic dongle dac in the $15-$40 price range, the normal cheap rec is the Apple dongle (US version), but you can always get something a bit more durable, and then judge your experience based on it. And if it’s possible to you, specially with planars, using a 4.4mm cable (on a compatible DAC) to get the most energy out of your dac will ensure that your iems aren’t under-amplified in most cases, is not a must in any way, shape of form, but you could try it if you can (but please, just dont use 3.5mm to 4.4mm adapters as those could damage some of your equipment if they are made improperly). By the way, the reason why i recommend a 4.4mm is because you can easily get more energy out of your same dac (if it has both conections, of course) using a 4.4mm vs the 3.5mm on the same DAC, you can always, get a very decent 3.5mm DAC too. \---------- # SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST: (This list now cover iems mostly\* down from $60 up to $100, with some extra options that could be around $120, but that could be picked below $100 if on sale, please take that in mind. The prices listed are just the stock price, often lower on sales). ***Purchase links disclaimer:*** The links included are affiliate links, but make sure to check vendor reviews when you make any AliExpress purchases. The links have no influence on which IEMs are recommended or picked for the list. \----- # BASSY IEMs. The option for people looking for a bassy, rumbly, thumpy or just warm and relaxed experience, if you want good bass, check here. **NOT EVERYTHING HERE IS BASS HEAVY.** \----- * ***($109) 7hz Legato (FRS: C+):*** The bass canon pick under $100, plenty of quality bass for your basshead needs, with just enough of upper half energy on the sound to not be unusable. It’s recommended to be used with things like wide bore eartips for extra clarity. Technicalities are a bit below average since the heavy bass isn’t the best for detail, but still very competitive, the basshead upgrade path from the QKZxHBB. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqJdKzH) \----- * ***($90) Tangzu Fudu (FRS: B-):*** A relaxed, bassy and smooth experience, most people say they are pretty comfortable, but the nozzle is slightly on the large size. It has an overall clean-ish sound, nice and warm-ish well-done vocals, and smooth treble. Average good technicalities despite the extra bass and the smooth presentation. Should Work for gaming, although bass could be a bit too distracting for competitive. Also, the bass is not super powerful, as it is more of a relaxed set, so don’t get it just for the amount of bass it has, but also for the style of sound. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqvuzOT) \----- * ***($75) Kefine Delci/AE (AE FRS: B):*** A pretty good bass leaning iem, some consider it the step up from the BLON BL03, as it manages to have great bass qualities while still presenting nice enough vocals and detailed treble. There is some warmness in vocals, not the cleanest sound from the price range, but it makes for a more relaxed and bassy listening experience, that manages to be engaging when it needs to be, especially with the pretty thumpy and rumbly bass. Vocals are natural enough despite the extra warmness, just not the main focus of the iem. The treble is on the energetic side, but not too intense that it makes it a V-shape. Technicalities are fine for the price range, but the bassy sound just makes it a not so “clear” sounding iem, a better if you are into bassy stuff. If you would like the performance of the Delci for bass, but also would like to be able to use it for gaming, check the Delci AE with the interchangable nozzles for 2 tunings and more versatile usage. Not a common recommendation for gaming, at least not for competitive gaming. But the usual bassy recommendation under $100. Check it out here (Regular): [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKaEwxD) Check it out here (AE): [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKT5q5H) \----- * ***($70) TRN White Tiger:*** Funny and energetic, yet not aggressive, bassy V-shaped iem, nice bass quality for the price, with good balance between sub-bass and mid-bass, the bass does have a bit of muddiness (bleed) to it, but doesn’t drown the vocals at all, is tastefully done and vocals are fine enough, the treble is a bit forward, but nothing too intense, nice technicalities for the price, an alternative to the Titan S2 if you feel like lacking bass and too much vocal energy. It comes with 3 different tuning nozzles, so check each one, but most people likes the green or red ones. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMYoBHt) \----- * ***($99) Letshuoer S08 (FRS: B-):*** Bassy focused approach to a planar iem, nice rumbly bass, although not the most physical or hard hitting one since it’s a planar, but it definitely does a better job with the bass than other planars around this price point, it still shares all those great technicalities of planars under $100, but also still requires good amplification, that said, it is slightly less "power hungry" than other planars in the list, so an “apple dongle” type of dongle might be just enough, but if you can get something better, could be the better option. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mL3X5zv) \----- * ***($120) Aful Explorer:*** Warm-bassy, Inmersive IEM. The bass is rumbly, thick, with body, but its not on the intense/super punchy side, sub-bass over mid-bass approach. Vocals are on the clean side, with some Energy, but not pushed as foward as on balanced sets, not that natural in the upper vocals though. The treble is enough, smooth and detailed, but is not that detailed or open feeling, safer relaxed treble over detailed and clear sound. Technicalities overall are good for the elevated price. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mNhhRI3) \----- * ***($126) CCA Hydro:*** V-shaped, clean-cut Harman style bass, energetic IEM. The direct step-up all the way down from the Castor Bass and the CCA Rhapsody. The bass sacrificies a little bit the amount for extra quality: control, tactile thumpy punch and clean deep rumble, still giving good body to deep male vocals with minimal "bload", you can always boost it up a bit with the tuning switches though. Vocals mamage to be correct and Somewhat natural and detailed, they pop out enough and dont get as thin as other V-shaped iems. Treble is on the energetic side, maybe could be borderline too intense for some, but it also manages to give nice detail while not being too aggressive with it, be aware if you are sensitive to treble tho, this time, the bass cant be boosted too much with the switches to balance things out, also, the sound of the treble could come as a bit "metallic" for some thanks to the driver config. Technicalities are decent but stock price is a bit too high. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mPV3RvZ) \---------- # BALANCED/NEUTRAL IEMs. Here you will find anything with just enough of both bass and treble for your music needs, some might lean a bit into the bass, others might have some extra treble, but the lean is not big enough to call it bassy or bright. **NOT VERYTHING IN HERE IS “NEUTRAL"**. \----- * ***($80)*** [***Dunu Titan S2***](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1h8nzjb/the_rekindled_spark_dunu_titan_s2_review/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) ***(FRS: C+):*** A mild V-Shaped balanced iem with an edge on vocals, specially female vocals, pretty engaging energy, it uses some extra bass and treble to balance things out compared to the original Titan. The bass is pretty rich and clean, but it also loses a bit of body on male vocals vs the OG Titan, still warm, just not the same focus, it has good punch to it and decent rumble, with focus on the mid-bass but not too boosted over sub-bass, and has decent texture, overall great bass quality. The vocals, because of the V-shaped style, do sound slightly less natural than on the OG, but they aren’t as recessed as other V-shape sets. The treble quality is good but could come as a bit too forward in some cases, so it can be a bit fatiguing for some, especially for people sensitive to treble. Technical performance is great overall, above average, good detail retrieval, some say that it could almost compete with planars. but the soundstage is not as big as other options, in resolution is competing with benchmark iems like hexa. Should work for gaming. It also should work well for Rock music genres, even with busy tracks. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOdiyY7) \----- * ***($70-$80) Simgot EW300 (Comes with Type-C/DSP option) (FRS: C+):*** A balanced yet energetic iem that breaks with the “Simgot has peaky treble” tradition. Nice allrounder sound, punchy bass, good decently natural vocals, enough treble presence, and good technicalities for the price. A warning is that the iem could feel a bit heavy resting on the ears for some. Should work for gaming. This one comes in 3 versions: Normal, HBB and DSP - They are all almost the same, just pick based on connection necessities, price and looks (sound is just barely different that it could be just unit variance as well – in the words of some reviewers). Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mskLcPh) \----- * ***($90) Simgot EA500LM (FRS: C+):*** Balanced, Neutral leaning, yet V-shaped sound, still the treble could be a bit too much for some, but it’s very well controlled compared to other options from Simgot. Bass has good texture and quality, and it’s more boosted than in the EA500 so it balances the sound more, it is not too boosted still, so with presence but not the main focus. Vocals are good, correct and natural, but also forward and energetic. The treble has also presence, but not too much; in reference to vocals and bass, is not as extra boosted for the V-shaped kind of sound. Some people consider it detailed and smooth, but others still can find them a bit too intense, so, again, a warning for treble sensitive people. All in all, works like a more energetic Titan S2, with also great technical performance, slightly above average, it favors a nice and natural kind of performance rather than ultra-wide soundstage and very obvious detail retrieval, still resolution is pretty good for the price, fighting above its price range with the Hexa and the S2. It comes with interchangeable nozzles, try them all, but most people seem to like the gold and red nozzles better. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqBqcnt) \----- * ***($90) Moondrop Aria 2:*** A pretty balanced, natural, good performing IEM that remembers a bit the sound of the Tangzu Waner, just overall cleaner, and with very upgraded technicalities according to its price range, very safe sound with just enough of everything in punchy bass, natural vocals and detailed treble, plus an average overall technical performance for the price. Should work for gaming. If you don’t know what to pick, this is your best starting point. Several people, however, do not like that the build quality is not that excellent, especially the paint scratches easily and moondrop as a brand sometimes does not have the best quality control. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOIoiwJ) \----- * ***($80) Truthear Hexa:*** A balanced, neutral leaning iem with a sub-bass boost. Is a set that focuses ln detail and performance, a somewhat clinical sound that might not be too engaging for some, but excellent technicalities for the price. Bass is decent and detailed, but the small amount of mid-bass could be too little for a fair amount of people. The vocals are nice and natural, but also not that energetic, and the treble is mostly detailed and controlled, with maybe some slightly too boosted areas in the lower treble, so, because of the small amount of warmness in the bass, some people can find the Hexa a bit bright sounding (sound leaning into the treble), with some female vocal energy being also pushed forward, if you are sensitive to treble is not the safest pick. Be aware that the nozzle is quite large, so comfort might not be that great for some, Woks pretty well for gaming, as this is usually the technical benchmark to beat under $100. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mt0zJjz) \----- * ***($80) Tangzu XuanNV (FRS: B-):*** A vocal forward, slightly warm sounding iem, good bass dynamics but not the main focus, a bit extra boosted on the upper mids (female vocals lean), but most people consider them smooth and not fatiguing. Treble is there and has enough detail but is nothing too impressive. Just a very nice, pretty safe sound. Average technicalities for the price. Be aware that they need some good amplification to work the best. Nozzle leans to the large side but doesn’t seem to have much fit problems for people. It’s a pretty safe pick if you don’t know what to pick, but you know you like vocals. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_m0DwmLZ) \----- * ***($110) Kefine Klanar:*** Pretty detailed balanced (borderline U-shaped) iem that leans a bit to the bass, so plenty Energy on bass and treble too but nothing too much, although vocals could feel slightly on the background for some people, it has just enough energy there, so vocals don’t thin out. It’s a planar so great technicalities, plenty detail and clean bass, but will need some extra energy to perform to the best of its capabilities, and bass probably is not going to be the punchiest, since it’s a planar iem; I should also mention that the treble could be borderline too energetic for very sensitive people. This one is considered a cheaper Letshuoer Z12/S12 pro. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mMIgDej) \----- * ***($100) NiceHCK F1 Pro:*** Pretty similar to the Klanar, kinda balanced, but this planar leans some more into the vocals and treble over bass, with a good but controlled amount of bass, plus some crisp highs, not recommended for people sensitive to treble. It might be the closest one to the sound of the Letshuoer S12 tuning, with even slightly less bass. Being a planar, will have great overall technical performance, clean sound, and should work for gaming. Will need good amplification as most planars do. And the bass on planar, like this one, will not be the strongest or physical one. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mP9caUx) \----- * ***($70) Artti T10:*** A very affordable balanced planar, it has a decent boost on the sub-bass for some rumble, clean mid-range and nuanced enough treble that is sparkly but can be a bit too intense for some people (similar to simgot models). It’s supposed to have the same driver tech as more expensive iems like the Letshuoer S12, so, if you don’t mind the basic build quality, it’s a very good, technically competent, cheap alternative, although it might just had some more Sub-bass and less treble than the S12. It does also need some good amplification as with the other planars, ideally a 4.4mm power output. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOJiup9) \----- * ***($110) Simgot EM6L (FRS: B/B-):*** V-shaped Neutral, somewhat bright leaning iem. Bass is there, it warms the sound, but for the price is nothing impressive, not as clean as other options and it could feel like somewhat soft or not that texturized/punchy, under $100 other picks have some better quality, it’s just decent enough. The vocals are forward, clear but not as clean, not that natural, even a bit on the warm side of sound, so with body, especially male vocals, but that can play against female vocals. The treble is forward in the sound, with maybe a bit too much energy, but that manages to not be super aggressive, some consider it pretty smooth actually, so you will hear it, but you might not “feel” it as much, it do adds a lot of detail and helps with the openness of the sound. Technical performance is where this iem is notorious, while the soundstage is not the best, the tuning paired with the overall good-for-the-price technicalities, helps a lot for uses like gaming, usually considered the default best budget gaming pick around this price range. For music is just not going to be the most technical or detailed listening, just be aware that people very sensitive to treble could still find it a bit too much. **Some people have had the nozzle or filters of the iem falling off, usually fixed by glueing them back on, but you should know this info.** Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mqM2p3z) \----- * ***($65) Moondrop May (Comes with Type-C/DSP only):*** A soft V-shaped iem, with good technicalities for the price. The whole point of them is to be used with the DSP cable and the Moondrop app to personalize the tuning with sound pre-sets or a bit of EQ. Also works fine with a 3.5mm Jack with the stock soft V-shape sound, but you will have to provide the cable. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mP5XKDz) \----- * ***($80)*** [***Dunu Titan S***](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/wxjSiXSolr)***:*** Neutral, vocal focused iem so it could feel a bit shouty for very sensitive people. Bass is decent in quality, but the quantity is around what most balanced neutral iems have, maybe even a bit extra boosted on top, and it focuses on mid-bass over sub-bass. The treble is quite well controlled and not that pushed foward, its smooth and precise but could lack some sparkle for some, vocals are very nice, very clean and natural, being the main focus as said earlier. Resolution and overall technicalities are good, resolution is the strongest part since it was above average when first launched, but somewhat average nowadays, the rest of the techs are just fine for the price, the S2 does present an overall decent technical upgrade over the original Titan. As a warning, the nozzle fits a bit deeper than other iems, so do expect the extra reach inside your ear. Should work for gaming, but I wouldn’t recommend it because of mid-range focus, ir could be a good vocal upgrade from Waner. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mM6hN4B) \----- * ***($89) Kiwi Ears Canta:*** Energetic and balanced Vocal focused iem with some bright leaning to it. The bass is a kind of a V-shape approach, where the focus is more on a nice bass punch rather than sub-bass rumble, however, because of the treble, the nice bass qualities would not be as apparent, it is not the focus of the sound but is there and does a very good job. The vocals are very clear, detailed, clean, but also very forward, it could even get a bit sibilant or shouty for some tracks, so this is an energetic kind of tuning, more of a “W” shape than a “V”. The treble has presence, clarity and detail, but it can get unnatural thanks to the extra emphasis, although is not that aggressive. The tuning does make for a wide soundstage, but overall technical performance is just slightly above average, with an edge on separation and detail, at the cost of the intense sound. The EW300 is a more relaxed, balanced version of this one. Despite the technical performance though, doesn’t seem like the best pick for gaming. Check it out here: [Linsoul.](https://www.linsoul.com/products/kiwi-ears-canta?srsltid=AfmBOor8SGQG1NeTFgA-LY3I0SSdC_HvyTyZtY4bdj_CMLzKrCOqHwyc) \----- * ***($77) Sivga Que:*** Balanced U-shape-Ish IEM that has an interesting balance between nice bass and crips treble. Bass is impactful, has a decent amount of rumble but it’s a clear mid-bass over sub-bass kind of sound, gets the job done but is not the most texturized or detailed bass. The vocals are a bit warm, mostly the male ones, so it has nice body to it, while managing some cleanness with the bass, is not the most natural, but is also not as thin, muddy or as unnatural as other similar sets can get, the area of female vocals is pretty forward, most people didn’t find it shouty, but it has the potential to be, at least for very sensitive people. The treble has presence, it brings good detail to the sound, but it manages to not be too intense or sibilant, just energetic enough. Technicalities are pretty good for the price, with some extra detail on top thanks to the mentioned treble style. It should be able to manage rock music even with busy tracks. Should work for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mtfpmTh) \----- * ***($70) Tanchjim 4U:*** A balanced/Neutral iem with a switch system that lets you go from a warm iem, a sound style that reminds of the (R.I.P.) Truthear Hola, to a neutral balanced set, to a neutral bright-ish set, to a full neutral, vocal focused, set. The overall sound and technical performance is fine, but it is nothing impressive for the price, maybe even a bit outdated thanks to recent releases around the same price, safe in the treble too, not too intense. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mNYKbZ1) \----- * ***($99) Ziigaat Cinno:*** Slightly warm, very correct sounding iem that is great for people both sensitive to treble and shoutiness, a bit of a "flat-liner" in the sound but maintains some musicality to it, with a natural enough sound. Technicalities are fine for the price, nothing too impressive. Should work pretty good for more detailed music genres like classical music. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mNDingn) \----- * ***($140) Aful MagicOne:*** Balanced-warm leaning IEM. Technicalities are somewhat below average for the price\* but it works well in this (sub $100) price range. Bass is not the most Detail, punchy or rumbly, is overall a bit too smooth, but also pretty relaxed. The vocals are nice and natural-ish, but there is warmness from the bass, not the cleanest typw of sound, but it plays into the relaxed balanced sound. Trebel is smooth but detailed, not underboosted, foward enough to balance things out. An interesting, relaxed pick if you dont want going for bassy stuff like the Fudu. It doesnt seem to work well for gaming. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mtDTpsR) \---------- # BRIGHT IEMs. Here you will find the focus on vocals and treble: reduced bass amounts, very natural vocals and even sparkly trebles, anything for that high-pitched clarity and detail. **THERE IS GOOD QUALITY BASS IN HERE TOO**. \----- * ***($120)*** [***Dunu Kima 2***](https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1gk0xcm/i_challenged_they_delivered_dunu_kima_2_review/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)***:*** Balanced (a bit bright leaning) Neutral IEM With an excellent performance for natural vocals. Bass has very good replay, but its not the most Detailed, punchy or rumbly, it works more as a complementary approach to the tuning, the focus is on mid-bass over sub-bass, and its not too boosted, sub bass is also fairly reduced. The mids are natural, clear, clean but with body, transparent-like, excellent timbre, nothing shouty. Treble is clear, foward thanks to the reduced bass, detailed but very well controlled, pretty smooth. Overall technicalities are just fine for the price, it has great detail retrieval although is not too obvious about it, Soundstage is just fine and instrument separation is not the best out here, but all in all is fairly competent. Could work for gaming, but wouldnt recomend it. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mO6feEP) \----- * ***($60) 7hz Sonus (FRS: B-):*** A very affordable Neutral-bright leaning IEM, a step up from the Salnotes Zero OG, great technical performance, above its price tag. A clean, neutral and natural sound, with a lean into the vocals and treble. Good but controlled bass, with decent quality in the hit and a boosted sub-bass rumble. Treble is nice and detailed, but not that bright, not that boosted. The biggest downside is the hybrid driver configuration which some people say is not totally cohesive, like there is a small separation between bass and the rest of the sound, but not a deal breaker for most people. Just watch out that for some it could some a bit Shouty on the vocals. Considering the cheaper price on the list, the overall technicalities are above average for the price, or on average with some more expensive iems in this list. This one is considered kind of a “Mini-Hexa”. Nozzle leans to the larger side. Check it out here: [AliExpress.](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mOUBJJ5) \----- * ***($80) Simgot EA500:*** A bright V-shape-ish iem that also has some warmness to the vocals, so, not the most neutral because it has some sound coloration. Pretty good bass quality, over quantity, has good but somewhat forward vocals, specially energetic female vocals, the treble is quite forward but can get fatiguing or even harsh for some. Technicalities are just decent for the price. This iem is for people that like bright sound without overlooking the bass, a possible upgrade path from the Ziigaat Nuo. Not recommended for people with sensitivity to Shoutiness and harsh treble. It comes with 2 tuning nozzles that don’t show much difference but try both just to make sure. r/iems • !THE SUB $100 IEM MEGA PICK LIST! ->Z300 has a good replay of bass, and it is bassy but is from the least of bassy iems, if you want bassy, check the Kefine Delci, thats the common bassy rec around the aria price tag nowadays.
r/inearfidelity • Regret buying the Moondrop aria ->ill highly recomend to check the Kefine Delci and the Letshouer S08 as one of the best bassy sets under $100 right now, and btw, the Quarted is another bassy set, but the thing with it is that its too polarizing for some reason, you either hate it or love it, if you like bass, is likely you would enjoy it, but i cant say for sure.
r/iems • Best IEMS for dubstep/edm 100$ and under ->I rock the Sivga que and titan s2 and they have plenty bass. Another good option can be the kefine delci.
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs Klean vs Aful Explorer vs HBB Deuce ->Ie200 are very well known for their exceptional performance with not so exceptional cable. Another set of small iems are kefine delci. They are bassy but have a small footprint. The kefine kleans are also well regarded but have a bit bulkier footprint. Another option which I personally have are the final audio e3000. These are amongst the smallest iem I have ever seen and sound reasonable for the fact that they have been here for well over 4 years. The whole e series are small pill sized so you can give them a check as well.
r/iems • Help me choose small but good IEMs under $100-120 ->They cater to absolutely different audiences. Delci has a warm laid back sound with generous bass but this is not what the op wants. He wants something with clarity and hexa absolutely demolishes delci in that front.
r/iems • Is there a better Hexa? ->I really like the delci, but if you want a planar the t10 is a great option regardless of price. I guess spin a bottle or flip a coin, both are great options. EDIT ohh that’s the klanar…..hmm probably t10, but the klanar has a better built and fit.
r/iems • Which would you choose? ->Good alternatives in the same sub-$90 price range if you want more bass and more note weight: -- **Kefine Delci**. $60 on AliExpress. Plenty of sub-bass, nice treble. Classic U-shaped tuning, as the mids are still there but just a bit recessed. A ton of fun. You have the 109 Pro. Have you heard the Meze 109 Classics? The Delci are the budget IEM version of the 99 Classics. Warm, bassy, fun. Easy as hell to drive. An Apple dongle will do just fine. -- **Artti T10.** $51 on AliExpress. THE default budget planar. No planar at this price range can come close. The T10 has nice balance, decent bass, nice treble extension without sibilance and very few annoying upper mids or treble peaks. They need some juice, but I see you have a quality Schiit amp. A dongle with some power will do just fine, too. Two other suggestions, one above and one below your budget: -- **AFUL Explorer**. $120 on Amazon or AliExpress. Excellent bass, with an emphasis on mid-bass punch. Solid mids, with no Harman-ish shouty upper mids. Treble is relaxed, without a ton of extension, yet still has detail. The ultimate warm, cozy chill set at this price range. Easy to drive. -- **Kinera Celest Wyvern Black**. $25-30 on AliExpress. I haven't heard these, but most reviews I've read and seen praise them as one of the best budget sets or the new benchmark for under-$30 IEMs. Good luck. Don't believe the brain burn-in crap with the Hexa. Yes, brain burn-in is real, but if you don't like the sound after a few hours of listening, brain-burn isn't going to fix that. Get something YOU like, not something people say you SHOULD like.
r/headphones • TruthEar Hexa impressions & hype ->You won't like the Hexa if you're coming from the Sony XM4s. Those Sonys are bassy as hell, and the Hexa are pretty lean on the bass. The Hexa has more "correct" sound, but that doesn't mean you'll like it. I would lean toward the AFUL Explorer on sale this week for around $100. That has a warmer, bassier sound signature while still being significantly better than the XM4. You also may like the Kefine Delci for around $70, as it has a bassy, V-shaped sound signature similar to the XM4s, but better. The Kefine Klean is $50. A bit less bassy than the Delci but still very engaging.
r/iems • Best IEM for a reasonable price (around $100 I think?) ->Neutral-warm, in general. In specifics, I can't stand the elevated upper mids of Harman tuning that make vocals shouty. I also don't like sibilant or icy treble. Need a bit of a roll-off there. I prefer mid-bass punch and slam over sub-bass, but a bit of grumble doesn't hurt, either. My favorite IEM so far is the Aful MagicOne. But the Kefine Delci is a hell of a lot of fun. More V-shaped, sub-bassy. 2023 was the year of Harman for IEMs. I'm glad to see recent tunings in 2024 deviate from Harman, as I'm not a huge fan of that target.
r/iems • Your favorite sound signature? ->Try the Kefine Delci for $60. You'll LOVE it.
r/iems • Your favorite sound signature? ->Kefine Delci. $60-75. Perhaps the best warm, bassy IEM under $100.
r/iems • What are your favourite bassy IEMs? ->Kefine delci…. I loved them
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->Kefine delci. It fits flush in my ears like a glove
r/iems • Looking for thin IEM's to use in my motorcycle helmet ->I’m no connoisseur, but I’ve got a pair of KZ ZS10 Pros and Zero Reds. Neither of them satisfied my need for hip hop bass. Then I picked up a set of Kefine Delci AEs from AliExpress. I’m sure there are bassier bois out there, but I’m loving them so far. Dunu S&S tips.
r/iems • Best bass heavy IEMs under US$100? ->Kefine Delci very good
r/iems • What's the best IEM for first time user like me? ->I'll start with saying I'm by no means a hardcore audiophile but I've been into iems for almost 10 years now. I've also never really been into all that scientific stuff and just went with what I ultimately liked. In the past 10 years I've owned 5 iems (listened to more because I have a couple of friends who are really into audio) but 3 weeks ago or so I decided to get 2 aforementioned sets as both were under $100. So to the review. My daily driver iems for the last 2 years have been Fiio FH5s Pro which imo are still ultimately better than either of the two but they are more than twice as expensive and imo they are lacking some bass for electronic/pop music even with bass switch on. Both the Delci and JH5 have more bass than the FH5, albeit it's not as precise. Delci has significantly more low bass but when it comes to mid bass I feel like they are about the same. Neither is really an analytical set but JH5 edges Delci in that respect and overall JH5 has better separation. Treble is much brighter with the JH5 too (personally thats why I like Fiio iems in general) making them a better all round iem for me. One aspect which I feel like Delci was objectively better at is vocals - both male and female, they just sound more natural to me. I must admit though I managed to get my pair of Delci for around $50 which is almost half of what JH5 usually go for and I was really surprised that although ultimately I preferred the JH5, Delci really impressed me for the price and given they are single driver iems. Separation and treble are still decent and much better than OnePlus wireless earbuds I commute with. In the end I decided to keep both as both are really enjoyable and that's what matters to me. Both are super comfortable and come with a variety of eartips. As for other hardware - I tested with Fiio K7 at home, KA3 on the go, and K5 pro at work. Edit: forgot to mention - I mostly listen to rock and metal although I do enjoy more modern music too. Also if that gives anyone any indication for my preference best IEMs I've ever listened to are moondrop variations and those are probably the ones I'm getting some time in autumn
r/iems • Kefine Delci and Fiio JH5 review (personal opinion) ->It depends on what you perceive as "good bass", the Zero Reds with the impedance adapter certainly had a lot of bass, but it's also bass that's emphasized and boomy (long decay) which some people dislike. I personally like the Reds, if you're a basshead then you could consider the Kefine Delci at a similar price point as well. They are more V-shaped than the Reds with worse mids but with tighter and slightly more punchy bass (though bass dynamics on the Reds are sufficiently punchy too). It depends on what you want really.
r/iems • Does the truthear X crinacle Zero: red have good bass?? ->id like to suggest the kefine delci, theyre pretty small and very comfy and ended up being comfier than the ie200 for me, and now that ive dipped into the 200-300 dollar range I can honestly say that the delci punches way above its price point and it often goes on sale in the 50s too
r/iems • Help me choose small but good IEMs under $100-120 ->Personally, i think it depends on what you started. if you started as an over ear listeners, you will tend to prefer over ear and vice versa. I started with over ear (dt 770 pro) and the iem that i enjoy the most is the theoaudio hype 4 then the kefine delci. However, i still prefer dt 770 pro over most of the iems i tried. If you started with iem like chu2, your experience will probably be very different. and what changes? in general, kinda everything. If i were to compare the hype 4 and the delci, the hype 4 has better soundstage, tighter bass and more fun in the music. Honestly, i think it is just about finding the tuning that you like regardless of the price. I have also tried many moondrop iems, and i think they all suck (the most expensive i tried is blessing 3) or the mega5est, which i consider as a snoozefest. And no, you wont be hearing new sound, that is just excitement from getting new gear.
r/iems • Are IEMs Really That Much Better, or Just an Audiophile Flex? ->I know there's a quite a few people who have been waiting for me to finally make this post. I apologize for the delay, I was still waiting for an iem to be delivered. A little background: I've been an fps gamer all my life. I used to play cod semi-profressionally and participated in both online and LAN tournaments for money. The main fps games I play today are apex, cod and siege. Ever since I discovered the audiophile world with studio headphones I was amazed how much better headphones sounded compared to gaming headsets. Fast forward to present day and I am now into IEMs and discovering which ones are the best for gaming. As a disclaimer my thoughts and opinions are my own. I understand there are YouTubers such as Fresh Reviews, Ryan Ho, and Gadgetry Tech that may or may not agree with my takes. So please take my thoughts and opinions with a grain of salt as I am just a chill guy who likes to game competitively. The way I determine if an iem (or headphone) is good for gaming is by 3 main categories: soundstage, imaging, and sound separation. A good and accurate soundstage has good width (x), height (y), and depth (z). Imaging, or stereo imaging, is the spacial perception and ability to perceive the precise placement of sounds. Essentially directional audio. I.e left, right, center, back, top left, etc. Sound separation in a iem or headphone is the ability to pick up different sounds at once without it overlapping each other. So the ability to hear explosions go off, gun shots, gadgets, footsteps, etc without distorting the other sounds. With that being said here's the list of iems that I've tried each with a short review and a rating out of 5 for gaming (3 is usable, anything less is not): CCZ BC01 Pro (1) - way too bassy, bad vertical directional audio. Better options CCZ BC04 Pro (2) - same issue as the BC01 but a much more tolerable bass. Better options Moondrop Chu 2 (1.5) - sound is okay, soundstage felt narrow to me. Imaging was okay. Sound separation was below average. Premium feel and build but I didn't like how heavy they were on my ears. Better options Truthear Gate (2) - sound great but not good for gaming. Narrow soundstage, imaging is okay, below average sound separation. Better options Truthear Zero Red (?) - literally couldn't fit in my ears properly without severe pain. So I couldn't test the IEM and returned it. Will be testing the zero 2 tho Truthear Hexa (4) - comfort is not that good, better than the zero reds tho, soundstage and imaging is okay, sound separation is decent. Also not a fan of how they sound tbh. Too neutral for me Tripowin Vivaci (3) - nearly identical to the zeros 2 in technical performance but I like the zero 2 more in terms of overall sound. And for $5 more you can get the 7Hz G1 which is better than both 7Hz Zero (2.5) - a bit too bright, zero 2 is better 7Hz Zero 2 (3) - average soundstage, decent imaging, below average sound separation. Best $20 iem imo, better options as you continue to go up in price 7Hz G1 (4.5) - a Klean but cheaper with a more fun v-shaped sound signature, get this if you're on a budget 7Hz Sonus (4.5) - the most underrated iem for gaming, great imaging and great soundstage but average sound separation. EW300 is a bit better cuz it has better sound separation Kiwi Ears Canta (3.5) - a bit too bright for most people, good imaging, okay soundstage, below average sound separation Kiwi Ears Quartet (4) - best soundstage imo, super comfy fit, imaging is okay and sound separation is average Kefine Klean (4.5) - a better Delci, better sound separation and arguably better sound signature imo Kefine Delci (4) - good soundstage and imaging, slightly above average sound separation Simgot EW300 (4.5) - nearly endgame but still needs better sound separation. Simgot EM6L (5) - endgame, great soundstage, great imaging, great sound separation. Can't recommend it due to it's nozzle QC issues. Otherwise I probably wouldn't use any other IEM for gaming but this Simgot Supermix 4 (3.5) - not endgame. Might get some hate for this but I was really not impressed by this iem for gaming. It had a narrow soundstage and okay imaging, good sound separation tho. EM6L is way better Other IEMs I am planning to review: ND Planet, Tangzu Waner 2, KZ EDC Pro, Truthear Zero 2 Blue, and Kiwi Ears Airoso Note - in the end I recommend the 7Hz G1, 7Hz Sonus and EW300. The DT 900 Pro X and 770 Pro X are my reference headphones for directional audio for competitive fps games. Those headphones essentially make me feel like I have wall hacks and the iems perform 85-90% as good. The best was definitely the EM6L where I felt nearly no difference in performance with my headphones but I can't recommend it because of the nozzle QC issue. It is an easy fix by super gluing it back on but that shouldn't even happen for an iem worth $110 in the first place. With that being said I will still review iems (and headphones) above and below the respective prices but I feel that you will be perfectly happy with the performance of the iems I recommended. Side Note: I'm currently in the process of building a website with the best gaming peripheral recommendations which includes not only iems but headphones, keyboards, mice, monitors, even pro controllers and more. Hope you all have a blessed day and find this helpful in your purchasing decision!
r/iems • Best IEMs for FPS Gaming: The results may surprise you ->Hey, I did a lot of research into best value per dollar IEM that has gaming in mind as well. Return and get a Delci AE. I have them (2 pairs) and they actually get directional audio cues very well. For reference, I played in Cal-M in CSGO, and basically high elo for virtually every fps game I have touched XD
r/inearfidelity • i’m new to iems ->Depends what direction you want to go with the sound, nowadays there's a lot of good options My two picks would be: Simgot ew200 if you want a brighter sound with very good technical performance, forward vocals, midbass focused. Sound signature is pretty forward and aggressive so it might not be the best if youre used to listening at high volumes, but it can be pretty satisfying for basically almost any genre Kefine delci/klean if you want a smoother, sub-bass heavy and warm sound, very good Soundstage width, smooth but detailed treble. It sounds significantly more relaxed than the ew200, with a bit of a tradeoff on vocals, which sound less forward and satisfying, but for chill music or instrumentals these are very pleasing and relaxing. The klean as far as I understand is a cheaper version of the delci with the same sound quality and interchangeable nozzles, but honestly if you find a good deal the delci is probably still a good pick, just the klean might be slightly cheaper
r/inearfidelity • need suggestion on iem under 60$(5k inr) ->Can't go wrong with the kefine delci
r/iems • Reccomend me a V shaped IEM in 100$ ->FWIW, I'm new to this and wanted to start with a couple cheap options to get a bassline on what I like. Got red zero about a month ago as my first iem and was really blown away by the quality for the price but after a couple weeks I realized I wanted more bass. I listen to mostly edm with the then hip hop second. Grabbed the Kefine delci and I keep finding myself wanted to sit down to listen to them everyday. I'm loving them. I tried pretty much all the tips they came with and found that since the delci seem to insert shallow it helped to have the largest size with the narrow opening and they sit shallow, seal well, and have amazing amounts of bass. Now I have a better idea of what direction I want to go in higher price ranges and have a great affordable iem that I'm not scared to lose or break if I were to use them on the go. Great purchase.
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->If when you're listening to your Delci you find yourself looking for more, then the Tea Pro will probably solve that problem. If they don't, then this hobby starts getting very expensive.
r/iems • Just how much better would the audio quality be if I upgrade from a ~$80 to $350? ->For $10 more kefine delci is exactly what your describing. The bass is rumbly and weighty without smothering the vocals. It has a great mid range and decent treble without it being peaky or harsh. Its a very rich and lush sounding set.
r/iems • Looking for IEMs Under $50 with a Warm Sound Signature – Mainly Listen to Trance & Various Music Styles ->look at kefine delci, they are the best iems under 100$
r/iems • Female Vocalist needing IEM advice ->I’d add Sivga Que to the mix, Kefine is an offspring of Sivga. I have both the Que and Delci AE ( although I lost the silver nozzles and am left with gold ones :/ ) The Que is a bit more midbass centric and is thanks to this more “grounded” think marshall sound with properly done treble. The male vocals sound fuller, and the bass is slightly less deep than Delci, but has more body thanks to the slightly lifted midbass. Delci AE (silver nozzle) has a bit better treble extension, but feels a bit more “boring” If i dare to use this word here, Que simply has a bit more Character. Delci is more of this “albeit well done, generic consumer sound signature close” I Think You’d like Sivga for rap. Oh, Que is also way easier to fit in my ear for some reason. Delci is a super small iem and it’s hard to get a proper fit quite often. But Delci AE has an ace up it’s sleeve and that’s 2 set of tuning nozzles. The gold ones are much brighter and somewhat bring the sound signature close to the simgot EW200. It’s much more exciting sound signature, but it will bring fatigue rather quickly. Sivga Que holds a special place in my headt and it was one of those cheap” gems that I love despite owning 8 other sets and reaching up to 700$ ISN EBC80.
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Tbh I have not been listening to Delci alot after I lost the silver nozzles, and did put them in and gave them an EQ profile and a longer listening session. (Keep in mind I’m combating the Gold Nozzle here which is spicy ) Man, I forgot how good the Delci Can sound. Either it or the Que, You can’t go wrong. Oh and I forgot. i highly recommend getting the Spinfit W1 and or Penon LS tips. They are my favourite and better than any divinus velvet or DV wide bore. Wpinfit w1 is slightly more v shaped in sound signature, Penon is a bit shorter, sounds more balanced, enhances the imaging accuracy slightly ( easier to pin point sound origin ) And you can get 3 sizes for slightly more than one pair of w1. Here is the EQ to combat the gold nozzle and bring it closer to the new meta target albeit with more bass. - a Fantastic listen. https://preview.redd.it/byfg2hjnt3oe1.jpeg?width=3437&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25e32cc47ebf7eb4fba83a8718fda8d81c47d21e
r/iems • Kefine Delci vs. Simgot EW300 – Which One Should I Buy? ->Kefine Delci. Literally identical to zero 2 but just better all round.
r/inearfidelity • Recommend me IEMs like Salnotes Zero 2 ->Ehhh, side grade I would say. Both aren't really my cup of tea but if you really want just Zero 2 but better, It's the Kefine Delci. If you want abit more spice and treble then the Klean with the silver nozzle would be the way to go. I don't really like the black nozzle, abit too shouty for my tastes. Also the nozzles are a little bit of a gimmick.
