I’m afraid there is no such thing. The best value I’ve found for iems? Kinera celest rue for 4$ on Amazon. Does that mean they are good? No, but they are 90% of the way there for a fifth of the price of most hyper-budget iems. Something similar can be said about tanchjim bunnys. 23$ for iems better than some 200$ iems I’ve heard. Does that mean they are the best and no other iem is worth it over that price? No. Nowadays I’d say the turning point for most people should be around 100$. With stuff like the truthear Hexa, the Moondrop Aria 2, and so many other really worthwhile cheap iems it’s hard to justify spending more for minimal improvements. The decision in the end is up to you. I would still be more than happy to spend over 1000$ on iems I liked, if I had the money. I’ve already spent several thousands between all headphones, iems, and speakers. If you include dacs, amps and my dap, the number might go up another couple thousand, but that’s not everyone. I don’t have anything that cost me over 700$ and I don’t think I will anytime soon, but I do believe it would be worth it.

I always used to use headphones on ear but for practicality I decided to buy some IEM Kinera Celest and I really like them. I don't deny that after a while it bothers me to feel them in my ear but it is not very often, as for games the truth is that I don't play competitive titles but in 3D games if I notice that spatiality especially when I use Hesuvi, for example in Monster Hunter 3 ultimate I clearly distinguish the monsters when they come from around me or fly over me. There are iems that have a better soundstage but they are usually more expensive. I also use an inexpensive dac dongle (Tempotec Sonata HD III).

sound quality is pretty decent, but there's better options out there. they're far above your average $10 dirty buds, for $10 they're damn good.

I have the Kineras, got them from AliExpress for like 15€ and I really like them! I did change the tips for the ones that come with the chu 2 and that made them a lot more comfortable. They sound great imo :)

r/iems • help me pick one of these, mainly using it for fps games like valo and stuff. ->
