Kinera - Relentless

The Kinera Relentless goes on sale for $70 sometimes and I think it's a nice V-Shaped tuning personally.

Honestly, I can't really give you a definitive reference as I don't have much in terms of iems with exorbitant amounts of contrast or dynamics. That is why I am selling pretty much all my iems, as I have played it very safe and gone for more neutral-ish or safe tuned sets. Probably the most dynamic sets I have are the Kinera Relentless, BGVP NS10 Pro, and Aful P5+2, but I would even consider those on the safer side of dynamic tunings. I just gotta watch some reviews the same way I figured out all these more neutral/safe tuned sets. Right now my two top contenders are the Myer Audio SLIIVO SLA3 and Myer Audio CKLVX CK2V. Both are under $200, so not too big of a risk to try what are supposedly more dynamic sets. I'm sure there are more out there, so I'm doing research while I post my iems for sale. I'll prob go with the SLA3 as it is basically the CK2V at half the price with extremely minor EQing. It's just missing the micro planars for the most part for that extra treble air past the 13/14k region. So if I really love that contrast I could upgrade from the SLA3 to the CK2V later.

Kinera Celest Relentless is what I’m using right now for gaming and honestly; I’m adoring them compared to my tin hifi t4’s. They are very comfortable despite being on the larger side, I’m enjoying the crunchy sounds from guns reloading in games right now. From marvel rivals to darktide. Good tones. Will say if you’re a bass junky I’d not go for them. In gaming you shouldn’t rly put bass too high for competitive games. I’d say my top worth investment wise for gaming is these, simgot ea500, & EM6L.

Hey! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the Mimosa. Relentless is the one of the three pairs of IEMs that I ended up keeping - I think the biggest difference would be the quantity of bass. Still plenty but a bit less than the Mimosa, and I think the vocals are a bit more pronounced as well. I found the treble pretty similar, they’re both bright with tons of details. I’d describe relentless as having a bit more intimate sound than the Mimosa. Fit could be an issue since it’s considerably larger than the Mimosa - overall, well rounded V shaped tuning with tons of detail and clarity. Honestly, those two are quite similar sets IMO. I got it for 84.99 on Aliexpress which I think is a good deal, the regular $160 I’m not so sure about.

I 100 % agree with your assessment. I read so many articles and posts praising the Reds so they were my first purchase and... I just don't hear it. Disappointed 100%. Tip rolling did improve the sound but it was still unsatisfying. It was just so... bland. I then bought Celest Wyvern Black for $25 and wow, what a difference. So clear, punchy bass, and in overall, a great sounding IEM. This led me to purchase the following: Celest Relentless, KZ PRX, KZ Zenith, and Kiwi Ears Aether. All sound amazing. While some on the list are more expensive than then the Reds, PRX (planar) and the aforementioned Wyvern are cheaper and both are leaps and bounds better than the Reds

I'm a leaning basshead and I have the Kinera Relentless on order. Heard it's got great bass. You should watch some reviews on it.

Oh yea, forgot. Yep, I love this Bass. Reaches deep in the sub bass, got a proper amount of rumble, and the mid bass slam is hefty. Vocals are clear and not muddied by the bass, maybe a tiny bit, not shouty, and not piercing in the treble, but could be a tab bit much for some ppl. I got used to it though. As a leaning basshead, *click* nice. Ita done very well for my basshead playlist. I can link it to you in dms if you want. Edit: I switch between the aoshida e20 w.50ohm impedance adapter and the Relentless sometimes. The Aoshida with the 50ohm adapter is, Gi-Mungo-bass... with the exception of an alright midbass, but maaaaaan I Tell ya HWut *slaps knee." It's still got clear vocals and clear treble despite the Bass. It can at times muddy the rest of the frequencies a bit, but everything is still very well separated and clear. It's not too sharp too, so you can really turn up the volume for that bone shaking bass rumble. Speaking of volume, Relentless is a low-mid to mid-high volume iem before it gets piercy in the treble. Dunno if I can recommend to treble sensitive ppl. I was treble sensitive, but bit the bullet and got used to it.

I have the MP143's, would it be worth it to get the Relentless? I do like that deep DD bass, the price for it right now on the 11.11 sale is at my budget limit @$88 USD

Truthear Hexa. I still use them when I want very good clarity and details but my most used IEMs are Kinera Celest Relentless and CVJ Night Elf when I want more bass.
