Based on 1 year's data from Mar 8, 2026 How it works
I decided "nope" on the Kiwi Ears Forteza due to its tuning which has a deeply recessed midrange. The drivers have good technical performance but I can't get around the horrible tuning.
Those I own or have owned: Tangzu Nezha, Tangzu Tianpeng, IO Sogno, QoA Aviation, Hisenior Cano Cristales, Intuaura Plume, Leteciel Magiris, Reecho Spring 2, Moondrop Starfield 2, Tangzu Yu Xuan Ji (both standard & Year of Snake editions), Kiwi Ears Forteza, Celest Wyvern (Abyss and Remaster), Vzonis VD-01. Those I don't own but have seen in person: Artpical Michael, Palavox Akasha, Forte Ears Mephisto, Nostalgia Audio Durandal, Thieaudio Prestige LTD, Xenns Top Pro, Elysian Pilgrim, Moondrop Psyche, Kinera Imperial Verdandi. Those I have only seen online photos of: SeeAudio Bravery 24, Rossi&Wing LUA series (all 3 of them), Aful Cantor (Starry Night ver), Kinera Nott, Ice Lab Spectrumica, Leteciel Encore, Tangzu Xuanwu Gate, probably missing quite a few that I can't recall right now.
Kiwi Forteza. I hate it instantly.
(noble iems arent good) and kiwi ears is insane value their wooden ciems are the best looking iems out there though
Moondrop kato, i had it, its V shape sound with a great bass sound. Kiwi, and KZ iems are great too However thereβs many options at this price range,
I've had multiple iems, but the one I've stuck to for a while now is the kiwi ears. They have a really nice eq and they are decently cheap, I actually bought my second pair recently after using my first pair for over 2 years. I put the moondrop spring tips on them and they are the comfiest ear buds i have ever used. I use those tips on all my earbuds now they are so good.
Sound is subjective. What sounds good for me probably wont sound good to you. Start cheap, try TRN, they make the best cheap iems hands down. I tried KZ, kiwi ears, letshuoer and my TRN VX pro plus are my daily drivers. I have more expensive iems but they are catching dust because I absolutely dont like the sound they provide. Also my biggest disappointment spending 200-400 bucks and then not having a good soundstage or clarity. Meanwhile, this $40 chinese iem, provides me with 3D audio, I can feel the distance of the instruments. Also for gaming, forget about it, ppl say im cheating all the time, mind you, im just hearing the enemy. And the clarity and details. Btw, im going to add a video link of ppl trying out random iems without knowing price point and namebrand and giving their opinion which one to them sounds better. https://youtu.be/eJGwS_I8m4E?si=b27nMz_FSYOK4dEF
im on kiwi ears, no waifu π
That's the magic of Kiwi Ears, my friend. There's no going back, ever.
I am new to this so I did buy the kiwi from lowest range price which is recommended here
