I Third this. The Origins has excellent bass/tuning if you're like me and don't like overly warm bassy tunings. The Punch is also good for the price but has thinner mids than the origin which was a deal breaker for me.
r/iems • Best BASS/Hip-Hop IEMs? ->So good! I'm keen to pull the trigger on these. What other IEMs you have? What music genre you love listening to the most?
r/iems • Are the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch the best for someone who likes a more bassy sound with some treble and low mids while still sounding clear and not muddy? ->Hbb punch. On my country already. https://preview.redd.it/ojjkbiulfvqe1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7db4094b48a407876a94c213e51b1556d7a8ea37
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->I'd bump up the budget for like 40 bucks and get the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch, they are the(imo) one of the best basshead sets before it nears kilobuck range.
r/iems • Looking for recommendations. ->Imo I like the Punch better than the Scarlet because it can do more genres, while still maintaining that super fun bass. Also, on the Scarlet, the vocals can sometimes distort because the sub-bass, but there is no problems like that on the Punch.
r/iems • kiwi ears x hbb punch vs other bass-heads IEMs ->I highly recommend the kiwi ears punch! I just got a pair recently and they are my end game! I originally had the deuce but it was all subbass little midbass! They go on sale for 400 often but I've seen them 2nd hand in the 350s area
r/HeadphoneAdvice • BASS IEM Recommendations, 300 dollars budget (willing to buy second hand) ->Try the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch if you really like bass. Personally I like the Punch more then the Deuce tbf for bass, feels like it's more organized. But if you can, demo them at a local audio store or go to a local audio hangout event and try them out.
r/iems • $200-$300 iems? Too many options ->I have a 2 18 wall. Ive looked for everything outside of beats for years and have come up short. Iems dont come close but you may want to look at the fatfreq x hbb deuce, kiwi x hbb punch, and theres a guy named phil who makes a "philphone", an open back with bass ($700ish). There's also fatfreq scarlett and maestro mini. Otherwise the budget option is a truthear zero red with EQ. I just match my zero red to a deuce for my portable bass fix. The headphone with the most bass is discontinued, a jvc sz-2000. With heavy eq it can vibrate a sheet of paper. Actually look at skullcandy crusher evos. Consumerism sound, probably bloated bass but lots of it.
r/headphones • I wanna rattle my brain with bass. Help please? ->Yes, I scored the Kiwi x HBB Punch about a week ago, been listening non-stop and you can call me a satisfied man. My previous basshead set was the modest and lowly Rosefinch, which in comparison is a muddy mess. It can be EQ'd to a certain degree, but so glad the Punch doesn't need EQ, it is beautiful as is. The Punch is not muddy at all, vocal clarity is very nice, as well they should be at this price with quality Knowles BAs handling the midrange. Treble is handled beautifully by the Sonion ESTs, providing shine and shimmer to the top end. The star of the show of course is dat bass, both sub-bass and mid-bass are full and teeth rattling on the right tracks. But it's not overwhelming at all, there is some balance struck across the spectrum to provide an endlessly pleasing sound. This is not a specialist for me. I can listen to my entire library with pleasure. Of course Hip-hop and EDM hit hardest, but concertos and symphonic music sound mighty fine as well. Vocals are nice, opening up pretty much anything: classic rock, country, indie rock, pop, soul, rap... Last pic is the FR graph, with Harman target, along with competitor the Deuce, and the lowly Rosefinch, which obviously has too much mid-bass and too little midrange. Punch has more mid-bass than the Deuce, and I like it like dat. Quality of drivers allow the Punch to outshine the Deuce in the clarity department. Throw in a nice cable along with a case and it's a great package. I'm using Sonic Foam tips, which is all I use on all my IEMs. The Punch is my most expensive IEM by far, the rest being $50 or under. Well there's my Ety ER4P+S, but they're ancient and outdated. I baby the Punch, they don't leave the bedroom, they are my precious. Am I a pervert for needing so much bass in my life? Perhaps. But I make no apologies for it, I am basshead, roar.
r/iems • I want you to Punch me in the face: A Sated Basshead or life as a lowbrow pervert ->My other IEMs are the Hidizs MP145, KZ PRX and ZAR, Rosefinch, Zero Red, Zero 2, and ancient Ety ER4S. I mostly just listen to the Punch, MP145 and ZAR for portable. I love classic rock the most like Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, Beatles, Dylan, Zeppelin, etc. But I listen to everything, love classical and jazz, and EDM and Hip-hop and bassy pop, soul.
r/iems • Are the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch the best for someone who likes a more bassy sound with some treble and low mids while still sounding clear and not muddy? ->1000% on the Punch. I just got them on deep sale with AE coupon and they're INCREDIBLE for EDM. Actually pretty incredible on everything, I can just listen to my library. Plenty of vocal clarity, and the ESTs shine and shimmer in the treble.
r/inearfidelity • Best 350-400$ iem for trance/electronic music lover ->No I don't have the Deuce, only have budget for 1 higher priced IEM. I'm done, I swear, Punch is my endgame. But the Punch is considered an across the board upgrade from the Deuce (Jays Audio), and priced accordingly.
r/inearfidelity • Best 350-400$ iem for trance/electronic music lover ->Sure no problem. The Deuce is good stuff but the Punch is even better! More versatile, I've been listening to stuff not EDM or Hip-hop and it sounded great. Stuff like Dylan (Rolling Thunder Revue), Steely Dan, and Grateful Dead, all sounded amazing and benefitting from big fat bottom.
r/inearfidelity • Best 350-400$ iem for trance/electronic music lover ->The Deuce has massive sub-bass but pretty meh in mid-bass, so you're gonna get rumble but not too much thump. I believe endgame for most bassheads is the Kiwi x HBB Punch, it's awesome but may be out of your budget. It actually is pretty well balanced, even though you're getting large amounts of mid-bass and sub-bass. There's good vocal clarity due to branded Knowles BAs, along with shimmery highs due to branded Sonion ESTs. It's actually good value considering its driver configuration, despite being a bit pricey.
r/iems • Should I go through with purchasing the FatFreq Deuces? ->Much talk of the Deuce which can offer massive sub-bass but only modest amounts of mid-bass, less than the Rosefinch. What you really want is the Kiwi x HBB Punch, but it's double your budget so just keep it in mind for endgame. Sneaky good for EDM are the Ziigaat Odyssey, though you have to crank them. But lotsa mid-bass thump and sub-bass rumble, while maintaining balance and clarity. They have immersive special sauce as well.
r/iems • New to IEM’s. Need Bass cannons and advice on how to drive them. Anything will be appreciated! ->I have only listened to these for about 30 minutes. Used a 90s vehicle SPL bass-off recorded CD I have. Handled with ease and thumping bass. Can't wait to try other genres because they sound like they could handle pretty much anything in my library. Hiby R4 and Muse Hifi M5 Ultra. Tips used are Divinus Velvet Wide Bore.
r/iems • Holy Bass! Kiwiears Punch ->The Punch and the Deuce are in the true basshead category. FatFreq has other sets, but they’re more expensive than the Deuce, which is sort of their “entry level”, and get up in price to the Punch, if not more.
r/iems • Endgame basshead iems ->Could try something with EST and very smooth extension if you want minimal masking like HBB Punch which is basically a KE4 with ESTs, though you're going to want to eq the bass down on punch if you want technical. Or you can try something bright like the Braindance. Also harman tuning overall like Volare/Variations would be good as they have a midbass tuck which leaves a clean impression and wider stage, or a bass-light airy harman like Studio4. Lower mids and 3k scoop can also open up the stage a lot, make everything sound very wide and enveloping and leave a very technical impression/much more layering/better perceived detail retrieval like SA6 mk2 (or ultra if you can find one) which are tuned rly similarly to Anole VX. EPZ P50 could be a good more affordable choice it's still a tribrid, with microplanars handling the treble.
r/iems • What Is a More “Technically Proficient” KE4? ->Kiwi Ears: How much bass do you want? HBB: Yes If you’re a basshead, just get these. As you can see, im rocking it with the sancai wide tips to tame the bass because after getting these, I realised I wasn’t the basshead I thought I was 😂 Also the sancai wide’s brings the mids forward which I like. That’s just me, but jokes aside, I think the bass is definitely near endgame level, soundstage is not the widest in its range but the treble feels airy and spacious somehow, could be the ESTs doing its magic? On stock tips, mids are solid, not forward but not drowned out either. Overall super bassy, a whole lotta rumble but still manages to strike a balance between the lows and highs
r/iems • Current SOTC ->They’re not heavy but compared to mega5est (similar setup), the punch is thicker, so it might protrude out a little from ur ears, and the nozzle angle is a bit weird causing it to constantly touch the top part of my ear but tip rolling fixes that
r/iems • Current SOTC ->Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch. They definitely punch (pun intended) above their price point.
r/iems • Best highend basshead ->The Punch is good. For a better Deuce, look for a cheap Aoshida E20. In the budget range, my basshead iems to go: 7hz x HBB Elua, Castor Bass og, Saga Bass, Libra Balanced, KBear Rosefinch
r/iems • Must Have Sets for Bassheads ->I have hype 4s and kiwi ears x hbb punch. The hype 4s sounds the best, but the nozzle size is a bit big for me. The punches have amazing bass if not a little too much. They do, however, fit me better better. I did, however, notice that the hype 4s don't have the greatest imaging when playing valorant. To be fair, though, I've heard the audio engine in that game isn't that good to begin with. I would definitely consider nozzle size when choosing an iem if you're looking to use them for extended periods at a time.
r/iems • Which Endgame should I get? ->I would recommend you check out the Kiwi Ears Punch if you are someone who cares at all about the lower frequencies, the Punch is in a league of its own. I personally prefer the overall tuning of the Punch to either the Dusk or the Hype 4, the EST treble is smoother and more natural sounding than the either of the other two. At this point I believe I prefer the bass on the Punch to the bass on the Thieaudio Origin, although the Bone Conductor does do something special to the replay, sonically the Punch just sounds slightly more accurate.
r/iems • Help me choose: Hype 4 vs DUSK ->For a budget set I recommend the ND Planet, it has a really good driver, sound good out of the box and handles EQ very well. Mid-fi either the Ziigaat Odyssey for a new Meta tuning or the Kiwi Ears Punch for a bassier set. For TOTL I would suggest either the Dunu Glacier or the Canpur CP622B
r/iems • What’s an IEM you’d tell 99% of people to blind buy? ->I have not heard the Pilgrim yet, so I can't compare the two, but I do own the Punch and I can tell it's a fun and bass focused set. The Punch does have a good but warm midrange and the EST drivers deliver smooth airy treble. I would say if you can't afford the Thieaudio Origin get the Punch. By the way I also own the Tea Pro and it is a fantastic set, but I prefer the bass and treble of the Punch. The Tea Pro has a better midrange and it's accessories are top notch.
r/iems • Can someone who knows how to read graphs let me know if I'm correct in interpreting this to mean that the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch may be a more "fun" (and less detailed) Elysian Pilgrim? ->I have not heard the P7, but the rest of the sets you mentioned I own, and from your post it sounds to me that the Punch would be a perfect fit for you as far as music goes. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to that. The Punch is made for Hip-hop and the highs are recessed a bit so being treble sensitive shouldn't be an issue.
r/iems • “Endgame” IEM ->Kiwi ears Punch is pretty good. Its the closest you can get to Thieaudio Origin at half the price. Bass is still impactful, doesnt bleed into the mids. And the treble is fairly recessed. Good for long gaming and music sessions.
r/iems • Which best earbuds with warm sound, versatile to begin with earbuds in the 500-1400 usd bracket? ->I use Elise Audio FR graphs. TLDR. Kiwi Ear Punch has way more bass and more treble than Elysian Pilgrim. Elysian Pilgrim is more safe tuning wise and mpre resolving than The punch. But too resolving and safe. Is more of draw if anything
r/iems • Can someone who knows how to read graphs let me know if I'm correct in interpreting this to mean that the Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch may be a more "fun" (and less detailed) Elysian Pilgrim? ->You gona hit an bracket ceiling and then pretty much start testing arounf iems. If you like it or find an audiable or technical difference. You sell your old one. I call it End Game refinement. Where you start realizing the diminishing returns on things. Bought my Thieaudio Origin beginning of april. Now trying to sell or trade it off. Kiwi ears punch just came in also. So ill be listening to those tonight.
r/iems • Next step from Kiwi Ear Aethers ->Aful 5+2, Timeless 2, Tanchjim Origin, SoftEars Volume S, EPZ P50. Above 400 you have Kiwi Ears Punch as the obvious choice, as long as you like bass. But truly do not underestimate a good source, don't neglect it. Tubes are becoming more normal for portable use now so I would strongly recommend the iBasso Nunchaku and try to stretch your budget a little.
r/iems • How much do I need to spend so my iem doesn't sound cheap? ->I had both for a while and they both have pros and cons. Bass: The Punch has A LOT more bass, like a lot. In addition, I find the bass quality of the Punch to be better in terms of detail. If you want something more balanced then the Tea Pros might be for you since it has less chance of overpowering the mids. However, the bass of the pros are lingers a bit more so if you want faster, snappier bass, then it might not be for you either. Mids: This, for me, is where the Tea Pro beats the Punch. Vocals are clearer and less muddy and instrument separation is more defined. The vocals are also a bit more forward on the Tea Pros which I like. Treble: I think the Punch has better shimmer and sparkliness in the treble. This could be because of the ESTs doing the work instead of the BA. Technicalities: Tea Pro is a tad better in imaging and resolution, Tea Pro has a tad better soundstage. Hard to tell overall though. I prefer the Punch because I find it to be more unique and focused towards bassheads, which I am. However, the Tea Pro is still excellent especially for the price.
r/iems • Kiwiears HBB × Punch Vs Mangird Tea Pro ->So this is how my collection stands after exactly a year of starting with the hobby. Needless to say, I feel into the rabbit hole deep. Crazy how time flies since this time last year I thought $50 was the most I'd ever spent on IEMs and now... lol. If it isn't obvious, I really like my bass. I'll probably be keeping half of these and getting rid of the other half since I do have my favorites and some of them are redundant. IEMs left to right, top to bottom: Crinears Meta, Softears Volume S, Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch, Symphonium Giant, Flipears Legion, Oriolus Szalayi, BGVP Phantom SE, Thieaudio Valhalla P.S. Thieaudio Origin is on the way lol P.P.S. here's my other update at the beginning of the year using my other account. Funny how the only set left from then is the Volume S. https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/s/XVkwbdyY6y
r/iems • My Current Collection ->Honestly the Valhalla is unlike any IEM I've tried before because it matches my preferences exactly well. It's the only IEM on my ranking list that has a perfect score in terms of sound. You also get a titanium shell and 19 branded drivers which is not cheap. Yeah I'd rather have money than IEMs that I won't use hahaha. I already sold the Meta and Phantom and the Punch is on its way out soon.
r/iems • My Current Collection ->Definitely Dusk over Volume S for bass. I prefer Studio 4 over both though. If your budget is $450 maybe you can consider the Kiwi Ears Hbb Punch too.
r/iems • Moondrop X Crincle Dusk or Softears Volume S ->I like the Kiwi Ears way better. Hype 4 treble is too much for me so it sits pretty low down my list when it comes to $300-$600 iems although it is pretty good on certain songs. There's an anniversary sale on Aliexpress at the moment so you can get the Kiwi Ears Punch at around $300.
r/iems • Moondrop X Crincle Dusk or Softears Volume S ->Yeah, very. Much more punchy compared to the Dusk and Volume S, on top of that they also still have very good mids and highs. They are a really fun set if you want a basshead set. At $300(sale) it's the best basshead set I've heard. They look great too. Here's a fair review of them [https://youtu.be/0sfX6sO4JmE?t=1375](https://youtu.be/0sfX6sO4JmE?t=1375)
r/iems • Moondrop X Crincle Dusk or Softears Volume S ->As a current Punch owner, and them being my favorite iems that I’ve tried out thus far, what would be a worthwhile upgrade to the HBB Punch for a basshead?
r/iems • Bass heavy IEM under $500 ->Great collection! I also own the Punch but would also love to try the Mega5EST Bass+. Could you please do a quick comparison between those too?
r/iems • My favorites of 2024 ->https://preview.redd.it/8riyd687yl2e1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=047661b8957065506c171e7b9c256b3bc8dc77b8 Got em. I'm not even a fan of bass. Hexa and Pilgrim are some of my faves. But this is damn good. Punchy bass doesn't overwhelm the vocals. Clear and airy
r/iems • Kiwi Ears Punch or Hisenior Mega5est Bass? ->I have the punch and let me tell you, not a single regret on them. I’m a bass head and they are PERFECT imo, the only annoying thing is that u need a perfect seal to get the absolute experience. I listen to alot of genres and they have no disappointed me in ANY, love them
r/iems • Ziigaat Arcadia vs Kiwi Ears Punch ->The ear tips they come with are not great. I did have to get spinfits W1s and it made an INSANE improvement. The seal just depends on the tips but i wouldnt say it’s hard but i would say, you arent constantly putting them back in place with the proper size. (I do press them in every once in a while but not to the point it is annoying)
r/iems • Ziigaat Arcadia vs Kiwi Ears Punch ->Like serious sub-bass? Mid-tier king is FatFreq Deuce and it's on the low end of mid-tier. upper end of mid-tier it's Kiwi Ears x HBB Punch. Similar tuning, but different bass feel.
r/iems • Truthear Hexa is Still Goated ->The Scarlet is in a league of its own when it comes to sub-bass rumble and overall bass dominance. The Punch offers a fun, energetic low end with good texture, but it leans more balanced in comparison. If you're looking for something different but still bass-heavy, the Punch is a good pick, but if you crave that earth shaking bass, the Scarlet still reigns supreme.
r/iems • kiwi ears x hbb punch vs other bass-heads IEMs ->After trying multiple iems, I’ve narrowed down my favorites to these ones. 1. Simgot EW300 Hbb - Honestly these will be more than enough for 95% of people, at first I thought these were just ok but after a/b ing the 3, they hit way higher than their pricing suggests. Basshead levels and clarity with the planar. Fit is ok very small and slim but flat shape no contours. Very easy to drive from mobile no dac needed. 2. Fatfreq Deuce - Yes the sub bass is insane on these but have no good weight to the mids so for vocals and non bassy songs, this Iem might be a little lacking. The fit is awesome however and one of the best I’ve found, very light and good contouring, does not stick out from ears. Subwoofer levels of bass and the tips included are one of the best I’ve encountered so far. Not sure what style this is called and I’m looking to buy similar ones aftermarket, any suggestions? They are slightly hard to drive but dongle dac should be fine. 3. Kiwi Ears Punch - These are very good as everyone else has said but I’m not honestly not sure it’s worth the giant price jump from the EW300. First these iems are very large and stick out from your ears, they have a good shape but over time they don’t stay in position as well as the other two. The mid bass is definitely improved quite well over the deuce but sub bass doesn’t hit as strong in my opinion, treble is definitely better. Compared to the EW300 however the differences are very hard to discern, after using the right tips on the EW300 these two iems sound so close to me, my amateur ears can’t hear a noticeable improvement. 🤷 TLDR - Simgot EW300 more than enough with right ear tips
r/iems • In search of the perfect bass head IEM - HBB edition ->One of the endgame basshead sets is the Kiwi Punch. The Deuce is below 2 tiers.
r/iems • Which is best for a basshead? kiwi punch or FF deuce? or something else? thumping rumbling low bass that shakes the inside of your ears. It will be my first iem purchase so please give me your best recommendations. ->Then just go for the Kiwi x HBB Punch. Is a chunky iem but nothing trust me nothing will literally hit u that hard not even Canelo Alvarez hahahahaha. The second best but more expensive is the Thieaudio Origin with less bass.
r/iems • Which is best for a basshead? kiwi punch or FF deuce? or something else? thumping rumbling low bass that shakes the inside of your ears. It will be my first iem purchase so please give me your best recommendations. ->If you ask me, my best purchases: - Aoshida e20, Quintet(not on the list, since i gave it away), Pilgrims, Shozy p20, HBB Punch and the Mystic 8(not in the list since its New and im testing). It covers most needs, and it's 1 set of each kind. Missing a Bone conductor but still indecisive of which one.
r/iems • I think I’m done for 2025 ->The best options IMO are:. - Zero:2. - Blue2. - HBB Deuce. And the endgame basshead; - HBB Punch.
r/iems • Best IEMs for heavy Sub bass without major sacrifices ->They sound super bassy while still decently in mids and highs. For something are called end game bassheads
r/iems • Best IEMs for heavy Sub bass without major sacrifices ->Volume S is not that bassy has most ppl think. Is a sub bass oriented IEM, meaning you don't hear the punch you mostly feel the rumble, I don't know other way to explain it. The Dusk on the other side is over priced for the perfomance and technical details you get IMO, should be priced at exactly 300 nothing more and is okish. My recommendation is go with the Volume S and a 5 ohms impedance adapter or just EQ it. For that price my recommendation is go with the HBB Punch while on sale for 380 that's really endgame for 95% of bass oriented ppl it's just 1 tier above both
r/iems • Moondrop X Crincle Dusk or Softears Volume S ->Hey, take what we say with a grain of salt, okay? Everyone's experience is different, you know, 'cause we all hear things differently. Plus, sorry for saying "IMO" and "in my experience" so much, but I just want to be clear it's my own take on things. Okay, I own the Punch, not the BD, and I'm biased towards branded stuff. Custom isn't bad, but I prefer transparency – why hide details under "custom"? I wanna know exactly what I'm getting. In my experience, my branded IEMs totally crush my "custom" ones. And because I mess around with EQ so much, I end up messing up the customs, but the branded ones are way more durable. Now drivers, ESTs and MPTs aren't really rivals. Planars cover the whole frequency range, but ESTs are mostly for high frequencies. See the problem? Comparing them isn't fair to planars—they're all-rounders, while ESTs are specialized. But makers swap ESTs for MPTs to cut IEM costs. TLDR: EST are really good at high frequencies, better than MPTs? Yes. MPTs are just good overall. Not really good, yet. Lastly, about those recommendations, spending $500-$600 puts you in a really tough spot right now because of the market and driver tech. That price range is the worst bang for your buck, I think. Things might change later this year though. The jump from the cheaper $300-$400 models is barely noticeable, it's more of a sidegrade than an upgrade. Extra: it's easy to forget, but it's not just the drivers; the number of crossovers and how you implement them really matter and vent design is also important. Considerations besides the Punch and BD -Xuanwu Gate and Bajie aren't technically the best, but man, do they sound awesome and unique! Maybe Xuanwu Gate is endgame-worthy, it's all up to you and your ears. - I/O Volare's a steal—you get so much for the price, and it really goes toe-to-toe with other IEMs. - Pilgrims or the Arcanis if you want best bang for ur buck and Mega5est Bass if you like EQ. Hope this help hahahaaa was trying to keep it short but I end up with this litany.
r/iems • Endgame IEM Poll, Branded VS Custom BAs & Micro Planars VS ESTs ->Check this video I lend my Punch. You might change ur mind after all and maybe two iems will be better ;) [Punch ranking and PEQ](https://youtu.be/JCyIB4RzCqw?si=uADSYJa8ybguwFGD)
r/iems • Endgame IEM Poll, Branded VS Custom BAs & Micro Planars VS ESTs ->The Deuce is a great set, with good drivers. At that price range though, there are IEMs that sound way better, like the Pilgrims kings of details under 700dlls, Volume S, the new Arcanis—it's really good—and the HBB Punch, which is the bass king under $1000, in my opinion. Any of 4 sets will blow your mind and get you to 90% of the endgame soundwise in IEMs.
r/iems • IEM’s coming from Airpods Pro 2 ->Hey guys 1 more day to go and I hope everyone got their IEMs collection expanded. Share what iems you got and which is ur favorite. Don't be shy all iems as long ur enjoying the music we all be happy, share ur experiences. Me? I got; - Aoshida E20 with the -25 dlls coupon from linsoul. - Quintet with the -50 dlls coupon from linsoul. - HBB Punch With the -150 dlls coupon from linsoul. - XuanWu Gate for -250 dlls from Aliexpress. I honestly like all of them but the looks of the XuanWu Gate is just mesmerizing. The Quintet is a very unique sounding IEM. HBB Punch well the chunky beast do what it does like nobody else and Aoshida Beryllium DD is my GFs favorite hahahaa.. figures..
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->Amazing set my friend. Bit of on the chunky side but amazingly il have news in 2 weeks about them stay tune
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->I got mine for 240 dlls so Im more than glad and little bit bias, the bass is gratifying without muting the rest, it was a nice surprise that altho not super detailed or instrumental retrieval oriented, it hold his ground thank to those ESTs, adding the zero shouting like most new iems, HBB nailed with the tuning to the T, it scales really good with high volume, more punch more raw musically. Compared with the Deuce IMO It just destroy it, in everything. I would dare to say it could be Endgame for most bass lovers out there. I still need more play time but totally worth it, specially on sale is excellent value. Tests I'm working on: impedance adapters, 3.5mm vs 4.4mm and a little surprise ill post in the next couple of weeks for all Punch owners. If you can get it while on sale 🤫
r/iems • Share your Spring Sale Purchase!!! ->Zero2, I sadly don't, my GF daily driver now, I move to Pilgrims and HBB Punch as my daily drivers pending on my mood
r/iems • What was your first IEM, and do you still use it? ->Based on my listening experience, For the best price-to-performance, I'd suggest The Pilgrims and the Studio4; they're difficult to surpass given they compete technically against IEMs costing twice as much. Others I highly recommend the Volume S/Arcanis/HBB Punch. Any of these would likely be an improvement over the Tea Pro.
r/iems • Better iems than Xenns Mangird Tea Pro? ->Got my Punch earlier this week, and my customized Mega5EST Bass+ today. If you can only afford one, I would say saving up for MegaBass if you have medium-small ears. The shell is much smaller and comfortable to wear, and with CIEM being an option. IDK how Kiwi Ears chose to make the shell size so huge, but Punch definitely has a worse fit for me. Tuning wise, these sound really similar while Punch being the more exciting one. I actually prefer MegaBass over Punch by a small bit. +3~5db over an already boosted bass shelf is definitely not for everyone.
r/iems • I'm in basshead heaven ->Tons of good quality bass. Despite what HBB said, it can be overwhelming and drowning out midrange sometimes. It's a 15db bass shelf so even more bass than Hydro judging from the graphs.
r/iems • I'm in basshead heaven ->2024 was an exciting year for me and all fellow audiophiles. So many great IEMs with unimaginable value. Here are 8 of my favorite sets from my ~15 sets collection. Right to left, top to bottom: ISN EBC80, HiSenior Mega5EST Bass + (custom design), Tangzu Zhu Bajie, Kiwi Ears Punch, Xenns Mangird Tea Pro, DUNU DaVinci, Ziigaat Estrella, AFUL Performer 5+2 Honorable mention: AFUL Explorer (best first IEM IMO), Ziigaat Arete (best gaming IEM IMO), Simgot Supermix 4 (best all-rounder IMO). I'm excited for what 2025 will bring us. Hopefully better sets with lower prices.
r/iems • My favorites of 2024 ->MegaBass has less bass. It's more "balanced" and more fitting for my preference. The low end of Punch can drown out vocal details sometimes.
r/iems • My favorites of 2024 ->Mega5EST Bass+, Punch, and Estrella. I've been repeating GNX with these sets for a while and that were some addicting experience.
r/iems • My favorites of 2024 ->Well the nature of est iems is that they are pricier than the „usual” BA hybrids, as the drivers themselves are more expensive. When thinking new we are talking 450-550$ at least. Well they may exist a decent set I’m not aware of as I don’t know all iems or even half that are out there, but it is what it is. The EST in it’s character though is worth ot imho, as it sounds way more natural than BA treble or Planar treble. Think DD naturalness yet with way more extension. Then the implementation must be good, as when the iem is not tuned in a way to fully utilise the est potential then there is not really a point to spend extra for them is there. On the cheaper side You have something like: 450$ Sound Rhyme DTE500, a fantatic, warm set with good sparkle. Kiwi EarsxHBB Punch, 400-450$ ( depends if you can get linsoul discount ) latest basscanon from Kiwi and HBB it uses est. Hisenior mega5EST/Mega5est bass+ ( bass+ has nicer treble as welll ). This is a gret choice for most, 550-589 $ I/O VOLARE is at around 600$ has 4 est, very nice set There was also Penon 10th anniversary, but it is no longer being made. 450$ Penon also owns ISN audio and they have ISN EST50, their previous flagship around 420$, but DTE500 is a better choice. I currently own their new flagship the ISN EBC80 2DD 2BA 2EST 2 Bone Conduction drivers set. It’s a fantastic set with a bit large nozzles though, so is not for everyone. And is 699$
r/inearfidelity • Just got the Elysian Pilgrim a few days ago, and… ->Just a small FYI, DD-Audio store on aliexpress always declare low value for customs so no tax to pay. Got a Punch from them for £260 in the last sale.
r/iems • Endgame basshead iems ->Absolutely love it, had a similar journey trying a few other sets then accepting that I'm a total basshead and get really bored with flat audiophile tuning. Only possible negative I'd mention is they are quite big as they must be to produce that level of bass, its just physics :)
r/iems • Endgame basshead iems ->Tried both, can say with confidence that Tea Pro beats Punch by a long shot
r/iems • Kiwiears HBB × Punch Vs Mangird Tea Pro ->I have the Punch and for me, I tried the smallest tips that come with the BLON BL-03 on my Punch and that really helped so much. The punch need a deeper fit than my other iems. I don't have the EW300 but I believe you. This hobby is crazy
r/iems • In search of the perfect bass head IEM - HBB edition ->throw away your weak senns, buy kiwi ears punch and enjoy your bass
r/iems • Iems are ... bad?? (For low frequencies) ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
