just because something cheap is good, doesnt mean something more expensive cant be better dollar for dollar you cannot beat the kz edx pro. and the as16 is a terrific beater iem neither come close to my uerr that i bought second hand, and would sell in a heartbeat if someone made something cheaper and as good. and the uerr doesnt come close to the summit fi set i have my eyes on(but cant financially justify right now, having tried over usd$200k worth of iems that said cost tells you nothing about quality. there are some kilobuck-summit fi iems that get beat by some $100 sets. dont talk about money. dont even talk about brands. talk about specific iems

I recommend the KZ AS16PRO is good for gaming and music 👍🏾

KZ makes so many different models. Too many maybe. I've tried three of them and if I'm honest with myself, I feel like they were all just as good albeit slightly different in focus. So since you tried the hybrid designs, maybe go for 100% balanced armature like the AS series or planar magnetic like the PR. You won't get much better value for money no matter which model honestly. First time I've hear of KZ I almost couldn't believe how cheap they were.

AM16 is so underrated. Sounds very similar to quatio too

While in the house, I go for harder-to-drive IEMs, like my PRX, AM16, and my dual DD's/Hybrids (Castor Pros, Eula Ultra, and Duonic). Outside the home, usually my single DDs, like my EDC Pro, Saga bass, Zero 2, and my Rosefinch. So, save power when on phone battery, use power hungries at home. Include 30mW DACs vs 60mW DACs. Which DD to take outside the home? Depends on which one I haven't used in a while. I think I use the Saga bass most though. Works with the EDM I listen to more than any other genre.

At that price, as24, am16, or cca hydro. Autoeq towards a neutral target like ve7, mh334sr, or anything similar from canalworks, westone or shure. I recommend multi ba only sets as they tend to be low distortion and handle eq very well in my experience.

I have the Kunten, Waner, and AM16. After using eq to same targets, Kunten lacks subbass power compared to Waner and Waner timbre sounds more natural overall. AM16 has much better separation on complex tracks. Vocals are very clear on the Kunten. Seems to pair better with ny apple usb dac over the Topping dx3 pro+. If you like Harman esque tuning with less vocal energy, it's perfect for under 7 usd on sale. (Got mine for 2.50)
