Hi, just got the Sonata and they are better than AS24. I didnt own AS24Pro. Im happy with my upgrade. They are more comfy to wear as well

The switches make the difference. I mainly listen to music on my iphone. I used AS24 + upgraded cable + type C adapter + Deezer HiFi app that comes with integrated EQ. Now I turn off the EQ in the app as the settings available in the Sonata integrated EQ are good enough. Sound wise is more balanced, with a good stabilization between highs and lows (As24 is too bright in the highs), per example you can add extra bass or lower the highs and the changes will be subtle but they will be there. The Sonata has also more detail, especially in the vocals. I could hear the back vocals clearly in many songs. Overall very good for classical, pop, r&b, indie, alternative rock. For hard rock and metal genres I think having so many layers of sounds (multiple drivers) is not beneficial as these genres are more condensed in sound.

I actually got my first real pair today (previously been focused on headphones, earspeakers and speakers)! It felt like an insurmountable task to figure out which IEMs are good just because of the sheer number of models out there. I ended up going for the KZ AS24, and so far (after just one hour of listening) I'm happy with my choice!

If you want to get another KZ/CCA I would recommend the Hydros as they are fucking amazing and suggest the AS24 Pro over the Sonata based on the good reviews for the AS24pro vs the few ok reviews for the Sonatas. They both can be had for around $100. Take with a grain of salt those constantly bringing up QC issues with KZ. This will be something you will see no matter if it applies or not. Example - Someone makes a topic about low volume with the Castors and some dipshit will jump in to say QC issue but the person had them connected to their PC 3.5mm port. Do your own research as there are plenty of people on here with a stick up their ass about KZ and they don't even use them. They'd rather you spend more money based on their issues.
