Are they as good as customs? No … but they are super affordable, sound great, really comfortable. I have a band mate who got some expensive sure ones and prefers these 9/10 times
They come in a bunch of colors, just make sure you get the “without mic” and the regular not the “usbc”
If I'm not mistaken, the Hexa is more geared towards a neutral sound signature while the Blue 2 is more bass focused and should give you that "rumble" you're looking for. I personally had the Blue 1s, and they weren't kidding about having a mini subwoofer inside an IEM. I sold them because I could barely get a good fit sadly, nozzles were too damn big to fit my ears
As someone who just made the switch to Cardo pack talk Neo with Artevive ear plugs from " [In ear monitor earbuds](https://a.co/d/02sE6GdZ) " I can honestly say Im happy I did! I really enjoy listening to music/audiobooks/podcast while riding and tried cheap amazon in helmet speaks which couldnt hear very well at highway speeds. Then switched to regular earbuds which were a pain to keep on while putting your helmet on/off and hurt after a short period of riding. When I switch to the in ear monitors it was definitely better but these had to be wired and became a bit of pain to come on and off sound quality was good though. I kept hearing people saying the Cardo packtalk edge with the Jbl speakers were amazing but found it hard to believe. Ended up trying it out with the ear plugs and its great, wind noise is basically gone, still hear cars and your engine at a lower decibel and the sound comes through perfectly.
Im assuming youre talking about the cardo in helmet speakers? If so, most newer helmets have cut outs or recessed areas where youre ears tend to line up (sometimes the padding might hide it) and you mount them in those spots. They are fairly thin speakers. This is a pic of mine inside my helmet, my liner had stitch padding across the recessed areas but I attached it on top and honestly it works better for me as it puts the the speakers closer to my ears for better sound. Hope it helps. https://preview.redd.it/ucc1mx8d6mzg1.jpeg?width=2938&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f06c2b9c65403d081da7ff44c678ca75ff5a30e
ZST was my first iem way back when and I loved em. Looking to buy a new set. I'm thinking of going for either the am16 or zenith. How'd you like them?
KZ ZST. Ancient old but it was my first iems that i liked the tuning, I tried other KZ. This was around 2018 or smth so it's limited to TFZ, KZ and TRN. I had TFZ Galaxy after, it was amazing but it's about 100usd in my place. IEMs become much cheaper now.
Tbf, ZST was one of the first if not the first IEM in sub $20, i think it was released in 2017. It was extremely old but back then, his only enemy was TRN (i forgot the exact model) and eventually a TFZ - except TFZ is in sub 50 category. TFZ T2 and TIN T2 were the amazing IEMs back in the day. TIN T2 was the "first" neutral. TFZ Galaxy T2 is the bass one.
KZ ZST (while amplified) cause its cheap and sounds warm with solid bass
Agreed. I exclusively buy that color. Im on my third pair (only because I misplaced my previous ones, been using this model for like 10 years now). Fiio amplifier
Only loyal because it sounds amazing to me. And luckily its $20 🤑
