"as good as some sound for the price they are still cheaply made and the warranty is inexistent."
"when I plug them in there's a noticeable amount of noise and noone seems the mention that. ... If I plug the iems into the headphone output on both my speakers and my dj controller I can hear static in the background, nothing crazy and any audio will drown it out but still, it's there unlike my Pioneer headphones."

o i had a stroke wtf i read that as truthear pure in your title lol gates are a great set yes. kz zvx pro i've personally been also using and I'm very surprised at all the things you mentioned really . detail, imaging, clarity these were able to provide + full metal build quality for like 12$ if you want a set for the longrun and like a more vocal focused tuning then consider wan'er 2 if those are under 25$, great iem on their own (build quality is pretty cheap though) but you get an excellent cable plus and stellar set of included eartips that people go out of their way to buy on their own to use for much more expensive sets i'd personally take the cheaper zvx pro as its just a sidegrade to the gate but should be a good amount cheaper or spend abit more for the wan'er 2 for the great accessory package
if you have access to zvx pro i'd go for those otherwise i'd take the kz gale as a more balanced allrounder or caastor pro if you're a basshead
zvx pro are a great cheap allrounder kz am16 if you want to spend abti more
i see singlep you just get w/e you want just havve abit of bass. 7hz zero 2, cadenza, truthear gate, kz zvx pro,

Under $10 the best is the KZ EDC PRO (edx pro is another iem), use it with Kbear 08 eartips. In Aliexpress (sometimes using coins) you can get for $8-15 the ND planet, KZ Castor Pro/OG, KZ Libra Balanced/Hi res/X, KZ Saga balanced/bass, KZ ZVX pro, all of them have good reviews and comments. The Kbear 07 and 08 eartips are good for them.
I like it more than my ZVX Pro
Exactly, KZ EDC Pro is the best budget IEM in my opinion. I will add KZ ZVX PRO to this list
How have you been guys. Today, I'm going to review kz- zvx's follow-up, ZVX PRO. As you know, zvx was a huge hit at launch. I've witnessed several reviews saying "this iem shocked me" hmm.. so I bought it. It wasn't a price to think about for a long time. However, my experience with zvx wasn't very impressive. The high notes were too aggressive, the imaging was pretty good..but not very detailed. Of course, it was good for a five-dollar bill. Though it wasn't enough for me. And, the follow-up zvx pro I bought for $15 completely blew away my old experience. To help you understand, let's score S to D for each area of the iem. (B means at least average for price) Components: Typical KZ components. Not good for the price. Score - D Design: It's a design that immediately reminds me of og zvx. The difference is that it's more of a glossy texture. It's similar to the black version. It's a full metal shell, so it looks durable. The shell is small, and I like the fit. Score - A Bass: The bass is quite firm, and responsive. It doesn't just reverberate, it's easy to feel the texture. A good bass. Not suitable for Basshead, but it's never small in quantity. Score - A+ Mid: The vocal is not buried by the sound of instruments. If you concentrate, you can even hear the vocal's breathing sounds. Score - B Treble: Wow, the high notes are hardly tiring, and they are also firm and have a good tone. The vocal chisel is low. The air is also enough Score-A+ Instrument representation: The drum sounds are fun without being too sharp. Rumble is easily captured. The texture of the electric guitar is good. The texture of the bass guitar is good, too. The symbol spreads out slightly and is expressed nicely. Score - A Details: It's quite detailed for the price. It's a significant upgrade point from the Og version. Score - A Imaging: Imaging of the Zvx pro is literally the best. I can't find anything better at this price point. No doubt, the best thing about this product. Score - S Resolution: It has a good resolution for the price. For comparison, it's better than the kz saga and below the castor pro. If it's still not too complicated a track, it's easy to handle. Score - B+ Soundstage: Not as wide as like Castor pro harman, but it's easily acceptable at this price point. No complaints. Score- B In general, I chose the zvx pro as the "most valuable to buy" iem of the current Kz iems. (There's only a few of them on the list.) I've got so few iem in this price range that have this balanced yet robust sound. I highly recommend it for those who want to stay true to the basics and even experience surprises.
I already wrote a zvx pro review
KZ is at its best when they shoot for a more neutral sound, the ZVX pro is one of my all time fave KZ budget sets. I got mine for 7 bucks new, that’s a steal.
Kz ZVX Pro or PRX for a planar, these are simply brilliant sets. Stomp all over Cadenza.
Saga or ZVX pro.. Same driver, different tuning
One event where the guy who reported it ended up retracting because it didn't happen that way. Glue was getting in the driver's consistently on one model. So based on that, you 'boycot', when there is now KZ Am16, Zenith, ZVX Pro, and a while bunch of really good iem's for very small money for what you get. Well, it's you missing out. If you were not probably 17 years old, I would suggest you were a big cheerleader for the Iraq War, and probably still don't know there were no WMDs. Simple logic should tell you, if you put the drivers in, you have paid for them, so there is less then zero reason to leave them unwired. The whole issue is stupidity, typical sheeple stuff.
They aren't the only company to sell a five dollar version of a 20 dollar iem, with a slightly lower range driver in it. Which, believe it or not, is not illegal. In any country. Don't buy a five dollar ZVX pro. You will be fine. Buy the 20 dollar one. Again, you will be fine. You must be American, I swear, you guys think you are the moral and ethical judge of everyone and everything. I am not the judge of the world. I am the judge of what's in my hand. And my KZ stuff is really good. It's called Capitalism. Caveat Emptor. BTW, the five dollar version of ZVX pro has the Edx pro driver, and it sounds amazing for five dollars. Get off your high horse. I notice you are real quiet about the silent retune of the hidizs 145 planar. Which also involves some changes to the driver. But it's not KZ, so you don't know or care.
Nah, ZVX pro blows them out of the water, and build quality is far better on ZVX pro, solid metal well built
Get ZVX Pro instead, castor is overhyped, ZVX pro is kinda under the radar, it's real good
I did.. My comment wasn't even specifically to you, more of just a general comment, it's always the same little group of iem's, I suppose it's good for those companies, as I would suspect a big portion of noob purchases are one or the other of those. Above, I recommended the KZ ZVX Pro, and herewith I recommend the TRN Conch. They are both really very good.
I would recommend the KZ ZVX Pro, it's about the best they have in the ultra budget space, and frankly, it stomps all over wan'er and stuff like that, around $17, beautiful metal shell, very small and fits great. Keep trying different tips till you get something that works, but the black ones that come with it are actually alright.
This really depends on you. One thing is for sure, Reddit and YouTube videos mostly promote the same things over and over. If you are not intimately familiar with the equipment, you will be buying stuff that all sounds the same, and does not necessarily match your preferences in any way. Yes, a cheap over ear headphone can be more enjoyable then a cheap IEM. But not always. Again, you need to know what to get, and you won't find out on YouTube (unless you can listen to Russian, those guys just don't care, they don't like it, they say it's junk) But following advice online is a downer, and if you are new, it's very likely that your source, DAP or dongle, is nothing special. It's a hard hobby to get into, really. The best thing to do is get yourself to a big audio store and listen to all sorts of IEMs on all sorts of DAPs and dongles. In this market, there is no correlation between price and value received. None. My $17 KZ ZVX Pro out plays many $100 plus units, just as a random example. There is so much competition. It really doesn't take money to get great sound, it takes knowing your own preferences, avoiding the slew of Harman tuned sets that all sound the same, and knowing the tech, so you know what you are buying. Also, Eartips fit is the most important aspect of IEM use. Period. If it's wrong, it will sound like trash. If you buy right, $250 will give you amazing sound. Example, Hiby R3 pro 2, kz ZVX pro, kz prx. You got a good single dd, a good planar, and a good player. Sounds excellent and the Hiby unit has mseb, you can tune it how you want. For better sound then that you will spend $800 or so, and it's not four times better.
In all honesty, yes: I have the og Castor Harman, the Zvx pro, the Prx, the (CCA) Rhapsody, amd the AM16 Balanced, and they're all banger, banger sets. I've been lucky and haven't faced breaking QC issues, but then again, what brand doesn't have QC issues?
