Letshuoer (Shuoer) - EJ07

Twilight is a straight upgrade over kima2. Everything gets better with Twilight. But you need to push volume into Twilight. Bass has more definition, mids sound warm, extremely enjoyable male Vocals, female vocals like Hikaru Udata sounds sweet although not correct. Treble has sparkle in high vol. In low vol kinda sounds dead. Twilight's biggest strength is how 3d it sounds. The sound actually has depth. Kinda like a speaker for ears. For me personally Twilight & EJ07 are forever sets. Kima2 sounds extremely good as well. Not resolving like ea1000. But sweet & musical, very much mid-centric, something that you can use for as long as you want to.

I’ve had a few. My favorites were the Crimson and the Diva. The vocals on the Diva were really special, but it’s also the only IEM that I couldn’t wear for long. The technicalities on the Crimson were better though, while having vocals that were almost as good as the Diva. But I downgraded until it was at that “good enough for me” point. So I have the EJ07 OG (also great for vocals, special in a different way to the Diva. EJ07m Kinda Lava (the EJ07Ms were too bassy for me), Softears Volume S (great tuning, great all rounder), and Mega5Est which has great technicalities for the price. No I don’t really miss the more expensive sets.

Because chi-fi advertisements and/or sponsored youtubers said so? Then why IER-Z1R, ie600, SA6, ej07, Variations are stil among the very best totl iems - at least certainly better than another hyped and freshly released "this time its 100% engame, trust me, bro" 200-300 usd hybrid iems? Some of the listed above are "just" 1dd, must be really old tech and even older "generation" of the driver...  And why my OG and Glamdring foam modded S12 are still so good for 3,5 years that you need to pay 400-500 USD to get more or less significant upgrade? "Hey bro, heard of that super hyped meta tuning? Now the shit must be real end game! What? What do you mean it's just another neutral + bass boost?!".  None are spreading FOMO more then sponsored reviewers - it's their fucking job. 

I've been following the HeadFi threads; definitely triggered me as I was a big fan of the EJ07, but I'll be giving that set some time too. In the same boat. I'm running probably close to a dozen new Meta/modified JM-1 sets alone, but in reality only listening to 2-3 of those. I have a hard time letting go of things, especially if there's something unique about a set I enjoy, but many of these IEMs are just slight deviations from one another. The entire midfi segment of the hobby is kind of blending together at the moment. Probably why I liked the Top Pro so much; felt like a big departure, at least compared to the constant new Meta releases that were pouring into the market.

People have different tastes, but to my ears the Cadenza 4 is the most underpriced iem I have heard. (In the sale for 140 bucks is insane). I also have the EJ07 and EJ09, Variations and have owned quite a few other far more costly than the C4. The C4 has replaced the 07 as my daily. Incredibly impressive. I intend to puchase a couple more sets in November, I should be set for life. The C4 plus the xBass eq profile from JaakoPasanen is perfect when I want real slam. Feels like owning 2 sets.
